Michael V Karing

I've never had a doctor so willing to spend time with me, explain treatment options, and be available 24/7. He has responded to emails at 10 at night! Appointments never feel rushed. He actually listens. He will recommend supplements as well as ordinary prescriptions. He is not "primary care physician as referee and coordinator with specialists" but, truly, a "primary care physician" where the need for specialists is an exception. I'm 77 years old and I've had maybe one other doctor, a specialist, so relaxed in his personal presentation during visits. He limits his practice so he's not overwhelmed with patient demands. If you're looking for a new general practice doctor, whatever the reason, start with Dr. Karing. He even allows a no charge "meet and greet" so you (and he) can determine if you are a good fit for each other. My wife and I feel blessed to have found him.

We have been patients of Dr. Karing since 1996 and love the care and kindness of Dr. Karing. He takes time at our appointments and listens and gives our lives direction. As we've aged he has helped us tremendously to make aging easier. I can't express how much I admire this man and his compassion for his patients.

Dr. Karing is great. One of the best decisions I have made was to choose him for my care.

Dr. Karing has been my doctor for about fifteen years (maybe longer) and since he began the MDVIP program his approach has definitely become that of my health provider and wellness coach instead of just treating my ailments when they arise. Coincidently when I responded to the email I had just been reading Keep Sharp: Build a Better Brain at Any Age by Sanjay Gupta, M.D. and had just finished Chapter 9,."Putting It All Together, 12 Weeks to Sharper" where he describes his advice through twelve steps. To my surprise, I learned that I am for the most part practicing his advice and greatly owe Dr.Karing's advice and guidance for my condition. I am an eighty four year old man who weighs the same as when I graduated collage and am in better shape, both mentally and physically, as I have been for most of my adult life. Dr Katrina has changed my attitude toward doctors. He is there to really help you assess your problem areas. He is available all of the time and can reached easily in case of a emergency. I was in a swim class one day with 12 women.and they were all complaining about doctors. I was the only one in class that was very satisfied and happy with my doctor. My wife and I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Karing as our physician. His philosophy of care is in line with our ideas of health. He listens very well, and is willing to look at evidence of alternative methods of treatments. He understands that we are intelligent, involved patients, and treats us accordingly. Also, the MDVIP program allows all of us the time needed to have far ranging discussions about our health and other topics. We consider him more that just our doctor, we consider him a friend. Very friendly and efficient staff. I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality of my care. Dr. Karing was very informative and also listened to all of my questions and concerns. I like that he promotes supplements and suggestions for a healthier life.

Not only does Dr. Karing provide outstanding medical care, his bedside manner is second to none. His staff are equally skilled and attentive to our needs. My health had been declining for a few years and none of the 4 specialists I had previously seen were able to pinpoint the cases. Dr. Karing & staff are the best. Always there when you need them. Answer messages promptly & new RXs are called in quickly. Dr. Karing is tops in diagnosing! I couldn’t be more satisfied!

Dr Karing has exceeded expectations on a number of occasions. While traveling at a conference in California, I developed kidney stones. He immediately arranged for the care and medicines that I needed. This is just one example of many that Dr. Karing arranged for after hour urgent needs to be met quickly and efficiently.

We have really appreciated the care we have been given by Dr. Karing. He is very thorough and professional. There is such a reassurance knowing he is easily assessable to his patients. We would highly recommend Dr. Karing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Karing for less than a year after moving from another state and having the same MDVIP doctor for over 20 years. I have been very pleased with Dr. Karing. He spends a lot of time with his patients answering questions and explains preventative ways to maintain good health. His staff is friendly and I have had no problem scheduling appointments. There is no wait when you arrive at the office. I really like his preventative approach to treating his patients.

This review is so up and down for me. My experience started off amazing with him and his practice. Then I had a lot going on. Trying to balance school and work so it was hard for me to make appointments but I always showed up within a reasonable time after. Then the worst happened. I lost 4 people close to me in a month. I had called that day to let them know I had to be at a funeral but instead of understanding he dismissed me as a patient. I take complete fault for being shaky with my appointments but to dismiss me for having to miss for a funeral is crazy. He didn’t even give me a warning saying if I had to reschedule again then I would lose care. I get a call stating it with no last warning. This treatment was saving my life. And to be just tossed away like that just shows me he doesn’t care about his patients. Also I’m young, and I would hear him with older patients in the room next and he was so laughable with them but when he came into my room he treated me like a was a bad person. al physical I have to fill out When I have my annual or half annual exam why can't I be asked to come 1/2 hour early and his office have the papers for me to fill out?

Dr. Karing is competent, attentive and caring. He embodies what one hopes for in their personal physician. He is a world class doctor and human being. Five stars!

Dr. Karing is very knowledgeable in all fields of medicine. He is personable and a pleasure to talk to. He and his staff are quick to fit you in to his schedule when you have a medical problem.

Long time patient, long time satisfied patient! I can’t say enough about Dr Karing and his office staff. So much so that I added my mother to his list of patients. Great concern and takes his time with us. Because of his concierge practice we can reach out to him anytime. We are thrilled to be on his care list. He’s an amazing Doctor and has taken a wholistic view of my health which has resulted in me being sick way, way less than prior. And my mother’s long time stomach problems are a thing of the past. I’ve had many many doctors in my lifetime and I’ve yet to find one u til I met Dr. Karing that can simply be a real person with you. Yes a real person. That’s all we really want. Karing is truly a compassionate Doctor that isn’t all about how many people can we fit into the schedule like I’ve seen in the past. Him and his staff get 10 stars from me. They are out of network with my insurance and I still go to them and pay out of pocket because I dont want to change doctors. This should say a Ton. I love how their staff responds fast to phone calls and just a overall good experience every single time.
