Here is the scenario. I'm in Columbia, MO - ~280 miles from home and I start to get a fever; it's Thursday afternoon. In 24 hours I am supposed to get married. Dr HACK is my PCP. I have contacted the local lab at the County hospital and they will do a rapid result screening WITH A DOCTORS ORDER. I call Dr Hack, explain the situation and ask for a doctor's order so I can get tested Thursday evening. The answer is, go to an urgent care, they might be able to help. This is my doctor???? Not any more. What a joke of a professional. Pathetic response for my situation. Find a real doctor; this is not one of them. Here is the scenario. Lives up to his name "Hack". Got a wife who is aging and dying with friedreich's ataxia and bedridden and just wants a dog to keep her company but it's this doctors policy to ignore such requests. Too good for really caring about anyone. Doesn't even prescribe stuff for her chronic pain that is any stronger than an Advil. A Real waste of time. Must have made it through medical school by the skin of his teeth. It's no wonder my wife complains when she has to go there. Small town but finding a way to get a new doctor for now on. Dr. Hack is a wonderful doctor. He talks to you like a friend and takes the time to really listen to what is bothering you. He doesn't order unnecessary tests or refer you out for something he can take care of right in his office (which is a multitude of things!). He makes you feel at ease and really seems to care.

This Doctor saved my Son life and we have known him for 16 years when my son was having epilepsy this doctor listened and never gave up and sent us to Kosairs and my son has a very rare form epilepsy called Anoxicepilepsy 5% out of 100 children have it so yes 4 stars from Kimberly Payne n Late Troy Payne for our son TJ

Dr. Hack became my primary care manager when I retired from active duty, and has been my physician for several years. He has always been professional, efficient and always listens to the patient prior to talking. The best thing is that he won't prescribe narcotics so the waiting area is NOT filled with "script hunters".
