I had a colonoscopy

Dr.Gurney is an excellent physician! A great communicator! You know he is listening intently by the appropriateness of his questions and responses back to you. His clinical knowledge is superb, gives detail where needed, answers questions, and most importantly, he involves you, the patient, in the treatment decisions. All staff mirrored Dr. Gurney’s approach, they were attentive, fully present and engaged!

This was my first visit. Staff was very pleasant to be around. Dr. Gurney took more time with me than I had expected which was a pleasant surprise. We discussed several of my overall issues. He was interested in understanding my overall health. He asked questions, and he answered questions. I feel very confident about Dr. Gurney and his staff being my provider, I'm in great hands.

Colonoscopies are not normally pleasant experiences, but my procedure with Dr. Gurney and his Staff was so well done. All went as planned in a professional way with no surprises.

Dr. Gurney treats our whole family- from ulcers to celiac disease to acid reflux. I am confident in his abilities because of his knowledge and professionalism. He personally consults with you before and after the procedure and has a very calming presence. A truly gifted physician- I hope he never retires!

Dr. Gurney takes time with patients after your Endoscopy or Colonoscopy and gives you a copy of the scope of what was found, with a thorough explanation of the next steps. His office staff are compassionate and explain what to expect.

Very personable doctor & he seems to genuinely care for his patients. The nurses were wonderful & helped me with understanding all the paperwork! It was a lot & I didn’t fill it out correctly. Oops. :-/ Receptionist was on-point & def doing her job! She could have been a tad nicer - I could tell she was annoyed that my paperwork was in the envelope! (Again the paperwork!! Lol) What a way to greet me! “rolling my eyes” :) I will be back - & am thankful to have a very observant doctor! My family is grateful for his diligence, too!

Extremely friendly and helpful! Could not more highly recommend as he was by far one of the most personable doctors I've ever interactive with. Not only was he friendly, but it felt like he listened and heard me when I was going over my issues. He didn't talk "at" me, we had a conversation...truly a great experience!

I put off doing my colonoscopy for years. After meeting Dr. Gurney and his team, I went ahead with the procedure. They are extremely professional in their approach and made me feel calm and relaxed. I would highly recommend Dr. Gurney.

So very glad to have had Dr. Gurney do my colonoscopy... he is one of few doctors that really listen to your needs and concerns! He uses a very mild procedure for prep...pills, Miralax and Gatorade...this is the first time I didn't throw up...I was in and out before I knew it...very easy procedure! Would recommend Dr. Gurney to anyone! Helped having a positive outcome too! ??

I have been there two times and I have to say I have been treated very well, everyone is kind and considerate and Dr. gurney makes me feel comfortable. I want to thank everyone for their excellent bedside manner!!

Dr. Gurney has been treating my Crohn's Disease for over a decade now. He doesn't seem to mind that I can be a challenging patient at times. He always answers all of my questions with good solid scientific and medical evidence and research. He is great about responding quickly when I need quick treatment. His quick actions have saved me from many hospital visits and I feel my quality of life is much better because of how he has taught me to stay on top of my disease and be proactive. I especially love his new office staff. His nurses and secretaries there at the new office are so great!

From scheduling to discharge planning following a colonoscopy, the care and attention to detail was superb. Patient instructions were clear, the prep was not bad at all (compared to my last 3 with different providers) and recovery was very quick thanks to expert anesthesia. Dr. Gurney reviewed the findings clearly. As an RN, I know excellent care when I see it. He's the best.

Dr Gurney and his staff are excellent. I’ve been seeing Dr Gurney for a little over 20 years. I’ve always been communicated with well. Due to the nature of my condition, I’ve needed careful monitoring which has involved many procedures over the years. The staff is accessible for questions while I’m preparing for the procedures. I’ve been treated with nothing but kindness and excellent care for all 20+ years before, during, and after each procedure. Dr Gurney and his staff have gentle bedside manner and are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. My condition has remained mostly under control throughout the years and has recently improved to normal under the care of Dr Gurney.

I had a great experience with the visit to Dr. Gurney. This office is highly organized and very well trained. Very friendly and compassionate, I was super impressed with the experience!

My experience at this office was excellent, from the nurse who checked me in to the nurse who walked me out. They are like a well-oiled machine with checks in place to make sure we were all clear as to the purpose of my visit. They answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable, and explained each part of the procedure. Dr. Gurney was kind and personable. I would highly recommend this office and staff.

Everyone is great!

Dr Gurney and staff were friendly and professional. They provided great explanations of procedures and asked important background information. I don't like going to doctors or having surgical procedures, but that's important for a healthy life. With that said, this procedure was as close to a perfect experience as a surgical procedure can be. I highly recommend.

Dr. Gurney is patient friendly. He has a great bedside manner. He’s down to earth.

Dr Gurney and his staff go out of their way to make patients feel at ease. Procedure was clearly explained ahead of time. Everything ran as scheduled. While no one looks forward to a colonoscopy, there is certainly no need for apprehension regarding the procedure. I won’t go so far as to say it was pleasant, but Dr Gurney and the staff are professional but are great at keeping things light and upbeat.

My situation has been ongoing for a lengthy period and my condition remains somewhat of a mystery. Dr. Gurney impresses me as a knowledgeable professional with ample experience. I am hopeful my outcome will eventually yield positive results with his thorough examination of my symptoms and application of his expertise. . Thank you Dr. Gurney for you patience on my behalf.

The staff and Dr Gurney were friendly,polite and professional. My wait time was reasonable. I appreciated the iPad in the treatment room that had mini educational talks on a variety of topics. My last appointment was about 4years ago and Dr Gurney remembered and inquired about my job and activities. I valued his interest. Dr Gurney spent time explaining my treatment, preparation and asked if I had any questions. My experience was very pleasant .

Dr. Guerney has been my doctor for about 6 years. He's compassionate and caring and has taken great care of my gastrointestinal problems. I highly recommend him!!
