Michael Allan Gureasko

Dr Guresko has been my doctor for a year now. He is a good doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He saved my life and always gives me great feedback. He tells me how proud he is of me at every visit.

Dr guerasko is very honest and a great doc had very good experience with him kuat coukd afford the 250 and another 200 for my medcine but great overall

I am pregnant and need to stay on subutex to avoid miscarriage or premature birth, I found out that "DR." Guerasko is not even a doctor but a phychyatrist AND I WILL BE REPORTING HIM TO THE DEA., However after informing the new guy who is nothing more than a nosey ass kisser they decided to give me only a 2 week prescription and told me if I want the rest of my medication I would have to come back the day I'm supposed to go into labor which is pretty much impossible but they did not mind taking a full months payment. Agreeing with everyone else on here. He seems to rush things. My wife went to him to get a proper diagnosis for medication. Instead of helping just told her to never come back. 42 years of experience? I think he should retire now.

I have been looking for a Psychiatrist to help me look into a medicine to help me with depression. My family encouraged me to do this as a next step toward recovering from alcoholism. I have been suffering as a binge drinker for 4 years. I went in for the first time and wrote about ten lines of information about my past and wasn't finished when he called me into his office. I didn't know what to expect as this was my first time seeing a psychiatrist. he immediately told me he wasn't going to prescribe me any medication because I was an alcoholic. I said ok. He then proceeded to interrupt me every time I would try to go over some of my past. He insisted my only option was AA and recommended strongly that I go to the Prospect house for at least 90 days or I will never get better. How can these be my only options I asked but he was insistent. He was not interested in conversation and shut down everything I had to say. I can not go 90 days without working. I have a family and responsibilities. One size does not fit all and I highly recommend not wasting your time with this bully. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! I had an evaluation for licensure and went to see Dr. Gureasko because he was on the Board's website. Unfortunately, I should have done more research. I had no expectations and didn't think I had anything to worry about but when I walked into my appointment, the assessment was BIZARRE from the first moment. He was initially talking about a patient he thought was me but was a different patient. That made him very defensive and the rest of the meeting was even more bizarre. I was in his office for 45 minutes (he said we were together for 1 1/2 hours)?? He wrote a NINE page report to the Board not recommending me for licensure?? I don't think I could write a NINE page report on my own family!!! I did decide to see another psychiatrist who has deemed me "Safe to Practice". I am an immigrant to the US. When I started seeing Dr Gureasko my English was not very good. I also have tinnitus and cannot hear very well. After a few sessions Dr Gureasko started saying"you must learn English" when I could not understand some of the things he said. Might have had some good insight, but not good people skills. Rapid-fire questions, like an interrogation, without much time to think about an answer. Seemed to have a very specific diagnosis of my entire life after only 5 minutes of questioning, which makes me suspicious. Pretty rude, although he did apologize after I pointed that out to him.
