Really awful, traumatic experience for my elementary age daughter. He repeatedly talked about her weight and blamed everything on weight, even praising her for losing weight so she didn't "get sick with diabetes". Stated she had an eating disorder and needed a psychiatrist (even though she's been in therapy for a year to rule out anxiety as the cause of the stomach issues and her therapist is frustrated that an incorrect diagnosis for an eating disorder was even put out there during the 15 minutes visit). Our concerns were blown off and given a genetic diagnosis, I was interrupted any time I tried to speak and he addressed my daughter 2x... Once to ask what grade she was in and the next to address get weight to her. Needless to say, we're getting a second opinion and wouldn't recommend coming to this doctor. I initially had an appointment with Glock, however arrived about 10 minutes late and he absolutely stated I must reschedule. Please understand I was traveling from Greensboro to Winston-Salem, NC. It was a blessing in disguise. I was able to get in with the PA (Dara) whom works with him. She was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! She was extremely thorough and aggressive regarding his care. She ordered tests and was back with us within hours to provide results and next steps. It was a pleasure indeed. As these days it’s hard to find a great physician who’s willing to be completely thorough and transparent the first round, as with others they tend to bs you and after 10 visits later and after you’re halfway on your death bed they then decide to make an executive decision to order a simple test. By the way just because you don’t have see MD behind someone’s name means absolutely nothing. As PA’s are normally more involved and efficient than most MD’s. At any rate thanks DARA SEELIG, PA-C. Also thank you Dr. Glock for turning us away, because you were so very busy. If you think you should pay $16/second for a doctor visit, here’s your guy! He billed our insurance $475 for a visit where no notes were taken, only a test was ordered, a test we had to call back repeatedly to actually get ordered and found out the follow up to discuss the results was another $475 visit. Won’t be going back here!
