Just terrible. Doesn't appear to be fully informed, or perhaps doesn't care about patients. Slovenly and rude. NOT what one wants in any kind of doctor.

I would give him ZERO stars if that were an option. Grossly incompetent, unprofessional and disrespectful to boot! Ignored the poor reviews because his office is close by and ...Covid. First visit - prescribed treatment without examining the condition properly Follow-up visit where it was explained that the condition was getting worse. "Don't complain, you’re not paying for it". Excuse me, but aren't medical doctors supposed to treat medical complaints??? Did another cursory exam andand then (still without a proper examination) wrote another prescription. If you're going to be incompetent, you can't be disrespectful and unprofessional as well. Pick a darn struggle!! Planning to go see a real doctor soon. It's time for him to retire. He's already retired the word "professional" from medical professional. Don't ignore the poor reviews like me and think "how bad can a dermatologist be?" They can be VERY BAD. Because of him a bad condition is now worse!

Simply put, not since the courageous first wave physitions; Dr Scolaro, Tom McGee, and a bit later, Phillip Musicanth has a Doctor not only come close to the care & skill of the vets of yesterday, but every bit their peer and more, than in the person of Dr J Gladstein. You kids out there, (I can't believe I survived to say, "You kids."), heed a seasoned pro in my words - consider yourself blessed to be here now. Respect your elders, too, you punks! ??

I had a nail condition and went to Dr. Gladstein. He took one look and said it was nail fungus. Never tested nail to confirm this diagnosis and he prescribed an anti-fungal cream. Turns out he was wrong. I had Psoriasis of the nail. I found out when I went to another Dermatologist (a nail specialist) who was stunned that Gladstein never tested the nail first. I wasted 6 months with fungal creams that didn't help me at all. Office was dirty & there weren't enough chairs in wait room.

He is absolutely the worst person in any medical profession I have ever dealt with. Spread the word.
