Dr. Michael R Galambos

Terrible doctor who operates purely off of personal bias with zero validation. Unless you want negligent care and to be referred out to any doctor but him, avoid Dr. Galambos and his NP.

Dr. Galambos is an amazing doctor. He diagnosed my EPI very quickly and prescribed exactly what I needed. He is always kind and caring, answers my questions and addresses my concerns. I feel very fortunate that he’s taking care of me.

Dr. Galambos did not listen to me, terrible doctor. Could have saved a lot of pain if I chose a different doctor than him. Do not go here if you want your case to be taken seriously.

Every time I see Dr Galambos, I am encouraged, due to his vast knowledge and understanding of my complex GI conditions. I am blessed to have him as my GI specialist.

I have been a patient of Dr Galambus since the early 1990s. He has always been a very caring doctor and always available if I've had an issue with my condition. I was introduced to him by his dad who was my doctor at Emory. I have sent many people to him, including my husband, when they have had need of a really good gastroenterologist. I have nothing but high praise for him.

All three places I have seen him in have been exemplary. He is very kind, caring, and will do almost anything To help his patients. He knows his fields of interest and he got my diagnosis correct. I have a rare medical liver Condition and I trust him to help me with slowing it as there is no cure for it. I found him to be a positive force when I needed it. Dr Galambos is managing my rare disease - I’m very pleased with his care.

Dr. Galambos's professional is lacking in many areas. His bedside manner is atrocious, and he tends to ignore his patients complaints and concerns. In addition to that, his office staff at the Jasper location leave a lot to be desired because phone calls do not get returned, even after numerous messages are left. If a patient complains about anything (even if those same complaints have been voiced by others as noted by his STAFF), the his attitude gets worse. Dr. Galambos saved my mother susan woods life! He's awesome!

Dr. Galambos is extremely unprofessional and treated me like I was less than human. I would never recommend him to anyone - EVER because of his attitude. If a patient questions his diagnosis or recommended medications and/or procedures, he gets mad. Then, that patient gets passed to his nurse practitioners who do not have the knowledge needed to give an accurate diagnosis or correct medications.

Excellent care from Dr. Galambos. Extremely knowledgeable. If you have digestive or liver issues this is the man you want taking care of you!

I called approx 15 times in a two month period and never got a real person in the scheduling department. I got Wendy's voice mail that said she would return the call at her earliest convenience. Well during the two month period, i left 8 voice mails and only received one call back. But i missed the call and was never able to get another response. So I gave up trying to be a patient of this doctor.
