Dr. Michael Andrew Filak

Dr Filak has been my doctor for 15+ years. His regular checkups are thorough and he answers questions and explains things well. On several occasions where I needed consultations outside the family practice he made referrals to excellent specialists and communicated with them and me about my condition & care. Appointments are never rushed. He and his nurse Grace are a great team. I kept Dr Filak as my primary care physician after moving 3 hours away because I trust and value his medical care and professional demeanor.

Not Responsive, when I was dizzy and not feeling well. I ended up in the ER 5 hours after seeing him.

Ended up in ER after seeing him, did not take my illness seriously.

Always willing to take the time to listen and explains in great details to ensure you fully understand. Been going to him for 30 years and highly recommend him and have always had the best care possible.

Family Medicine of Clifton-Centreville should consider changing patients not doing well to other doctors in their practice, with the doctor initially treating a patient doing poorly initiating the change. Patient doing poorly, not Dr. Filak's patient, but bekng seen by one of the other providers

Dr. Filak is great! He's been my doctor for about 20 years, he listens and cares about your health! Offers great suggestions on health improvement!

Dr. Filak is a very experienced, very patient and responsible. When my PSA indicator was little high, he immediately requested me to take a MRI. After MRI was abnormal, he requested me to take a Prostate Biopsy and finally found out it is not Prostate Cancer. There is also a important things. Dr. Filak is very nice with someone is not good in English. He explained it in an easy sentences until the patient understands. So I think that is why it's lot of patients trusted and thanks Dr. Filak.

Dr. Filak's warm demeanor and caring manner was so welcoming that the first time I met him, I immediately switched doctor's and claimed him. He knows what he is doing, and is not at all sarcastic or cynical in his responses. He follows up with you, and let's you know by his actions that he cares. Thank you, Doc. Filak.

I would not recommend going to this office I had an appointment and I said inside for one and a half hours nothing got done I never saw the doctor a nurse tried to draw blood and she did not know what she was doing the blood was not drawn either I had to walk out it was very scary and disappointing.

Dr. Filak really listens and cares. There's no rushing you out of there like with some other doctors. And he explains things in a way that is easy to understand.
