Michael H. Fattal

Dr. Fattal is fantastic, and I highly recommend him. Each appointment has been on time, he has a great bedside manner, and he provides excellent care.

I have been working with Dr. Fattal for several years. He diagnosed me with a thyroglossal duct cyst and treated some flare ups. He assessed, ordered imaging and developed a treatment plan that was easy to understand and made sense to me. The last flare up required surgery to remove the cyst. Surgery was at Mass Eye and Ear. Dr. Fattal removed the cyst successfully with minimally invasive incision. Dr. Fattal's communication, bedside manner and professionalism is second to none. I would recommend him to anyone needed an ear nose and throat (ENT) doctor.

Saw Dr. Fattal because my eardrum was punctured by a branch (very painful, tons of blood) when on a walk in the woods -- stepping off the path to let someone pass. Had significant temporary loss of hearing and infection. He couldn't have been more condescending -- making repeated jokes about how this happened and at one point seeming to disbelieve my account. He also suggested I had made things worse by swabbing some of the blood when I was nowhere near the actual wound. He was in the room for about two minutes at first visit. Follow up was slightly better after he entered, made a joke again about the incident, and I replied "good one, that's hilarious," which seemed to have brought about a realization that perhaps I didn't find the whole thing funny. People come to doctors frequently because of accidents; mocking and blaming them for said accident isn't a good look. Would not recommend. (If in fact you want to be a comedian, don't get an MD and also -- you're not that funny.)

Dr Michael Fattal is respectful and he has an excellent doctor. He listens carefully and solve my problem ASAP. He understood that urgency of the matter and took care of it right away

He was literally the worst doctor I have ever seen. He was condescending, mean, harsh, dismissive and pretty much a very, very bad physician. Went to another MD and was treated fairly and issue addressed - I can't stress enough how bad it was.

Dr. Fattal did a complex reconstruction of my nose. This was a difficult surgery and in his own words, one of the more difficult ones he has done. I’m a week post op and doing well. From the beginning I’ve been reassured by his positive energy and strong, upbeat personality. He’s answered any and all questions and helped put my fears (terror actually) to rest. My experience with Dr. Fattal was far beyond my expectation. Dr. Fattal examined my concern and put my fears to rest. His professionalism, charm, sense of humor and brightness will be an experience I will remember for years to come. Tonight I can sleep better with a restful mind. I rarely seek medical attention but I actually look forward to seeing Dr. Fattal. He is brilliant and amiable. Pure excellence!

My son has 'special' needs. However, he always been treated with great respect and patience by Dr. Fattal. I recommend Dr. Fattal very highly!!

Dr. Fattal has an excellent manner. He's patient, doesn't talk down to you, answers questions and takes his time. My one negative point would be the time it takes to schedule an appointment. Ultimately, he couldn't help solve my issue (tinnitus), which makes it even more frustrating to have to wait so long for an appointment, only to be told there's nothing that can be done for you. But Dr. Fattal himself I found to be very good at patient relations.

I saw Dr. Fattal for my tinnitus. Although there is no "cure" for my problem he provided excellent care, listened to my concerns and was knowledgable and compassionate. I would highly recommend.

My visit with Dr Fattal was very informative and he answer all my questions. He was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable to ask the questions that I had.

The doctor Explained my condition in easily understood terms. The staff made practical suggestions about how to manage my hearing loss and gave me helpful printed material.

I've had a great experience with Dr. Fattal so far. My septum correction surgery was easy, he made sure he answered all my questions, and he has a good bedside manner both in-office and going into the OR. His staff is lovely as well. Great at following up and helping me get insurance information sorted out.

After my VA referral to Mass eye and Ear, I just completed my two visits for hearing tests and follow up with Dr. Michael Fattal. I couldn't be any happier with my experience......The office staff and environment was absolutely first rate, and helpful from the outset in communicating with the VA on my behalf, and setting up appointments. Dr. Fattal was terrific in explaining my condition results, and most responsive to doing an immediate written report that I could share with the VA as well as my civilian primary.....Many thanks again!

The entire staff was off the charts awesome, professionally, personally, and a sense of humor is always a plus! From being greeted by Olivia at check in, to Nair the MA, to finally meeting Dr Fattal for the first time, I couldn't have been more impressed. Cannot recommend Dr Fattal et al enough, it was a most satisfying, rewarding, and enjoyable ENT visit, saying this even after being painlessly scoped, which is not something one usually looks forward to but I must say that I am looking forward to seeing them again in six months because I was in the most competent of hands.

Dr. Fattal is a no-nonsense doctor that has great knowledge and experience and gets straight to the point. He explains results and his diagnosis in a professional, clear and caring manner. The office staff and medical support team is highly capable and exemplary. I highly recommend him for your ENT needs.

I had a great experience with Dr. Fattal and his staff! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to track down an MRI report, even when I wasn’t sure of the date and location details, so I wouldn’t have to go through unnecessary tests. I am very happy with my experience there!

Diagnoses your problem, explains what he can do to fix it, and then actually fixes it. Who could ask for more?

Dr. Fattal and his staff are wonderful. He answered all of my questions and was patient and kind. He then followed up in a timely manor and called with results of my biopsy. We have since moved out of the area and I experienced more symptoms. My new doctor gave me a recommendation that surprised me. I then reached out to Dr. Fattal (two years later) for a second opinion. Dr. Fattal called me and gave his opinion over the phone with no fee or charges to my insurance.

Well run office. Dr. Fattal has excellent interpersonal skills and a direct, pleasant, professional manner.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Fattal spent a lot of time with me and explained things in a way I could understand. Highly recommend him.

i had a great experience here. i came in with many different issues and dr fattal took the time to address each one. he explained everything clearly and we settled on a plan that has really worked. he and the staff are friendly and courteous.

He is very unfriendly and not patient at all. He does not like to listen or he does not care what you said. He said I should not come to see him. This really surprised me. He spent 5 mins and walked me out, the next day I saw 3 times amount of bill in my insurance claims as what other ENT doctor charged me. Very unbelievable. The first time I meet a doctor like him.

Dr. Fattal understood what we were dealing with immediately and explained it so it was understood without the condescending attitude many doctors exhibit. He was very kind, warm and funny. More doctors should be like him. We feel very lucky to have him as part of the team.

Dr Fattal is so good at what he does and is so personable as well. My 90+ year old mother needed a large skin cancer removed from her face and he cautioned us that she would be asymmetrical and have a scar. But one month later the scar is barely noticeable and she feels like she got a face lift! He was so good with my mother too and really got to know her.

Great. Had a Septo-RhinoPlasty for a broken nose/deviated septum. He is extremely friendly and is very knowledgeable about what he does, not to mention the results were great. Ultimately a great person to go to.

Dr. Fattal performed a bilateral otoplasty procedure on me. From the moment I met him, he made me feel comfortable and less anxious about my procedure. He explained the whole process to me and all the options, which made me less anxious. The office staff was friendly, helpful and informative! I would highly recommend him to others interested in otoplasty or other eye and ear surgeries!

We love coming to MEEI in Concord. The staff is great and always so friendly to my children. Dr. Fattal is excellent with my daughter. Another thing I greatly appreciate is how prompt and timely the office is. We never have to wait long and are in and out quickly.

Dr. Fattal is terrible. Unfriendly and a piece of cold rock. Not approachable. Just wondering how did he enter the Harvard practice? Appalling! I have sent my report to Boston Globe!
