Dr. Michael August Degennaro

Dr. DeGennaro is the absolute best. He has been my doctor for about 20 years and has consistently provided the best care of any internist I have seen. He is an excellent diagnostician, keeps up to date with all the latest medical literature and spends a lot of time with you at each and every visit. He also calls you himself with the results of your lab work and tests. Once he retires, it will be impossible to find another internist like him.

We are very Fortunate to have Dr. Degennaro for our Family Doctor. He has taken alot of time to evaluate us for what we need him for. We are Blessed to have him for 34 years. He is very Attentative and strives to come up with a Final Outcome. We the Daltons hope that he will never Retire. God give him Health and Strength to carry on his work.

He is a BRILLIANT Diagnostician and a caring, supportive caregiver of the highest quality. I have never found a Doctor who will spend the time necessary to checkout every possibility in each patient he examines before he moves on to prescriptions, advice, and, if necessary, recommendations for specialty physicians. He also has a delightful sense of humor.

My family has been with Dr.D for almost 50 years now and are very sad that he will be retiring in another year and a few months. There is nothing that has been this upsetting to our family in reference to Medical Care necessities but he deserves to retire and enjoy his future years in the Forests of Vermont.

Very difficult to reach any doctor. Today, Thursday, May 24th I called the office at 3:30 and left a message for the office manager. At 4:15 I called again and as soon as the front desk picked up they said, "hold please," not even given me a chance to speak. I was left on hold for at least 15 minutes. I then called from another line and the recording said the office is closed. So, I hung up. Can't believe they just left me on hold. What's going on?

I've found the good doctor to be right on the money with his diagnosis and recommendations.

Dear Doctor Degennaro, I just got off the phone with my uncle Benny Sottile. We never met, but i am so thankful that you are his doctor. He is one of the greatest gifts in my life. Thank you so much for being so kind, and going the extra mile for him. I hope you know hope much he respects you. I wish i lived close to your practice, because i would definitely be your patient.
