Dr Chizner is the brightest, most experienced and most thoughtful doctor one could ask for. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to provide outstanding care.

I have waited 30 years to finally have a specialist take the time to read through my health history and diagnose me properly. Dr. Chizner and his staff's bed side manner were amazing and set me at ease. I come from a medical family and everyone had recommended I go see this doctor to see if he could get me on the road to recovery. I finally feel that their is a doctor that not only TRULY cares about my health, but takes the time to really listen to my concerns, has the knowledge to recommend the most beneficial next steps as if I were his own daughter! I cannot be happier to have found Dr. Chizner and have already started referring him to my friends and family. It is a shame that a patient must advocate for their health over and over until she has found some of sound practice and superb bed side manner but a blessing that physicians like Dr. Chizner and staff still exist!!

Let me just say he is a dying breed. I’m a health care professional and it’s very difficult to find good care from knowledgeable people. First, this doctor will not be looking at his computer while talking to you, you will not be rushed out the door, and you will receive the best care possible. He actually listens to you, asks questions to narrow down a diagnosis, then tells you what your problem is or will refer you for the correct diagnostic test. He makes you feel super comfortable due to being highly intelligent and caring for you as if you are a dearest family member. Annie, his nurse practitioner is incredible as well. Smart and caring as well. Will help you any way she can and explains everything in detail. Alicia at the front desk is warm , always greets you with a smile, always asks about your family. We as a population can definitely use this office as a model of healthcare treatment and delivery . Thank you for everything you do!

Dr. Chizner is the epitome of what a physician should be. His is not primarily a world of statistics, it is a patient oriented experience. He sees each individual as a unique case and a unique set of issues that are intertwined in the circumstances of their life. He listens to you and your concerns. Please see that again "HE LISTENS", an act that takes time and attention which he gives generously. I have referred a number of people to him. My last referral told me that it was the best experience in all his 40+ years with a doctor. He was so grateful to have found him. I would venture to say that no one who encounters Dr. Chizner will ever forget that warm, human experience of care and understanding and a vast understanding of the issues with the heart. Dr. Chizner and his team are everything we could have hoped for. My father was looking for a new cardiologist with the hopes of finding someone who would take the time to listen to him, learn about his life, wants, and needs, and who would be willing to explain everything to him in a way that made sense to someone not in the medical field. Dr. Chizner was exactly that cardiologist. When speaking with my father, Dr. Chizner showed great empathy and walked him through everything. He spoke about what was happening and why it happened. I could see my father very much appreciating every single word that Dr. Chizner said and watched him take it all in. Dr. Chizners staff, Anni and Alicia, were also caring, friendly, and very warm. I have been seeing Drs on and off through out my life. Dr. Chizner by far is the absolute best Dr. I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. He is extremely knowledgeable, very informative, and best of all a great listener. He makes you feel that the Dr./Patient relationship is equally about how you feel and what he feels is the best course of treatment not just based upon your test results as well as how you feel personally and about what treatment he recommends. A partnership between Dr and patient. I highly recommend anyone that requires cardiac care seek out this brilliant Dr. and even greater human being. Being a teaching cardiologist, he had about a dozen of his students present during my appointment (with my permission). Both they and I learned so much when he alleviated so many of my worries that I lived with for the last few years. Dr. Chizner is an amazing doctor and I am very happy to have found him, thanks to my dentist Dr. Taskonak who referred me to him. First time seeing Dr Chizner! My name is Jennifer. Dr Chizner, took his time to listen and explain everything, very compassionate, honest, and a good listener, I’m so thankful to have find him…

I had been having trouble breathing, and was told by several doctors that my problems were pulmonary related. I received treatment from them without success. Things got so bad that I went to the emergency room one night, and they suggested that my problems might be cardiac and not pulmonary. That’s when a friend of mine insisted that I see Dr. Chizner, who immediately diagnosed my condition as congestive heart failure/cardiomyopathy, and actually determined the cause of it. I am now well on the way to full recovery, thanks to him. I consider that I owe my life to his expertise and knowledge, and I will never ever see anybody else for as long as I live, or he does lol.

I am a new patient of Dr Chizner's and I was referred to him by my primary care physician. He and his staff provide a wide range of cardiatric services with care and empathy. Above all, Dr Chizner takes time with his patients as part of the diagnostic process. Dr Chizner is an extraordinary, caring physician and a consummate professional. I highly recommend this practice.

My wife has been telling me for sometime how much she enjoys seeing Dr Chizner because he is very thorough in his examinations, very thorough with his explanations of his findings, and takes time to listen to her. I went to see Dr Chizner yesterday and everything my wife said was true. Plus, at the end of our lengthy session I walked out with much more medical knowledge than I walked in with.

In 2015, I took my then 87-yr-old mother to see Dr. Chizner for the first time. She had just come out of the hospital after being told she had had a heart attack, and the prognosis they gave her did not sound very promising. They had also put her on several heart medications that were making her feel just lousy! A co-worker strongly urged me to take her to see Dr. Chizner as he had helped her husband when other cardiologists couldn't. We made an appointment, and the exam that Dr. Chizner gave my mom was one of the most thorough exams I've ever seen a doctor give a patient! As a result of his exam, not only did he tell my mother that she did NOT have a heart attack, but he took her off all of the medications that they had put her on … long-story short, this is the 8th-year anniversary of her appointment and she is still going strong at the age of 95, soon to be 96! I can’t thank Dr. Chizner enough for all he did and continues to do for her – he is the best!! PS – my mother is in love with him! Lol

I am a medical doctor and I have been a patient of Dr. Chizner's for more than 20 years; I have also referred many patients to this excellent cardiologist over the years. Dr. Chizner treats patients holistically and has extraordinary proficiency in cardiac care, diagnosis and treatment, assuring the best outcomes for his patients. After seeing this one star rating I was compelled to write a review on behalf of Dr. Chizner. I know our time is valuable and it can be very frustrating waiting past your scheduled appointment, but when it comes to Dr. Chizner he is worth the wait! On one occasion, I was going out of town and Dr. Chizner fit me into his schedule last minute. I was able to go out of town with my mind at ease knowing my health issue was not heart related. Dr. Chizner gives you his time and full attention throughout your visit and makes sure he answers every single question. He is compassionate, caring, and most importantly extremely knowledgeable. I will not go to another cardiologist! I have a gynecologist that I feel the same way about because she also is worth the wait. Excellent doctors are hard to come by these days.

I think the world of Dr Chizner and would recommend him to anyone for diagnostic care or a second opinion, including friends and family. I was cleared by another Cardiologist for a non heart related surgery, I had the surgery and I didn’t feel quite right. Saw Dr. Chizner and he literally saved my life. I immediately had heart surgery. Today I am active and enjoying life as well as playing tennis, pickleball and table tennis multiple times per week. Thank you Dr. Chizner!!

Dr. Chizner is definitely one of the best or the best doctor I have seen. He was thorough, explained everything in detail and was kind. His staff was extremely nice and attentive. Dr. Chizner had 4 medical students with him during my appointment. He is a great leader and teacher, makes his patients feel comfortable and was on time. He was able to give me a diagnosis after a year of seeing different doctors who did not know what was going on. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Chizner’s for over 8 years. He came highly recommended to us back then. He is a brilliant doctor with a great bedside manner. Thank god for his thoroughness, he was able to identify a problem my husband had been experiencing that without early detection could have been much more serious. He is always kind and compassionate. Dr. Chizner had great bed side manor in our office visit, great staff in the office as well. Dr. Chezner took his time to explain all my options and took the time to get to know me as a new patient. I would highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr Chizner’s for about eight years. Although he has a well-deserved reputation for being an excellent cardiologist, he is also extremely caring and attentive to his patients’ concerns. He listens carefully to patients’ complaints and takes time to be sure they understand his responses. He is a true physician. In addition, his PA and indeed all the members of his staff reflect the same concern that he exemplifies. They respond quickly and pleasantly to phone calls and requests.

I was recovering from heart surgery and feeling very anxious when I first met Dr. Chizner. I had many questions and concerns and was worried I would be rushed through my appointment. However, Dr. Chizner’s calm and gentle approach soon relaxed me. He never interrupted and carefully listened. He gave me encouragement and confidence, explaining the reasons for various symptoms I was experiencing and providing solutions. Dr. Chizner’s expertise, kindness and understanding is not only helping me recover, but is helping my family cope . This man is a true healer, and a wonderful human being - and I love him.

Dr Michael Chizner is the most caring Dr. I have seen ! He explains things in laymens terms and has a wonderful bedside manner ! He never rushes your appointment and his knowledge in his field far surpasses most cardiologists. If you are lucky enough to find Dr. Chizner you are blessed !

Excellent!!!!!!! I saw Dr. Chizner many years ago while residing in So. Fla. I would have followed him anywhere in So. Fla. After seeing two other cardiologists, Dr. Chizner determined my issue and got me back on track when others weren't able to. To this day, I am so grateful and would love to be able to thank him in person. He is the best cardiologist ever!

Dr. Michael Chizner is a top class physician and importantly a first class person. I had no hesitation in following him from Broward Health to his current location which is just off Broward Blvd. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

You are not a number and never will be with Dr. Chizner. He treats your every concern with positive and caring solutions. You can always talk to him and get answers to any questions you might have. Perhaps there can be no one best doctor in a given specialty, Yet Dr. Chizner is among the very best in cardiology, Do your homework and you'll find that the breadth and depth of his experience?e bear? this out?.
