I saw Dr. Cassette for 11 months. I had 2 rounds of PT. Numerous MRI'S and a very costly spine injection. I could barely walk. He then said 'You need surgery". I got a second opinion and guess what NO SURGERY. My NEW Doctor = NO SURGERY

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Dr Cassat due to his lack of ability to help me or to refer me to someone who could. I also spent allot of money for MRI and x-rays and after hounding the nurse for results, I eventually had to schedule another appointment to get my results because the doctors nurse could not explain anything. I understand why the x-rays and Mri were needed, but having to wait 3 to 4 weeks to be told you don't have a tumor caused my allot of unnecessary anxiety.

Nicest person ever! Left feeling uplifted and hopeful about my complaint.

Impressive doctor. Quickly analyzed disorder, performed on-site testing, and began treatment.

I just met Dr. Cassat this morning. He impressed me as a sincere and empathic physician who has the right stuff to practice medicine...excellent training, keen intellect and warm bedside manner. UAMS is fortunate to have found this young doctor.

Thank you sooo much Dr. Cassat for being concerned and listening to me. I don’t think I have had another doctor take the time and immediately get me scheduled for mri, Doppler and a CT scan for something I thought was just a broken ankle/foot. Turns out I had a blood clot. I cannot express my gratitude enough to him and his team for just listening to me when I said I couldn’t feel my toes. I have had a prev ortho tell me that was normal due to swelling and that I needed to be fitted for inserts. I truly believe this clot has been there since I fractured my knee but when I complained about numbness it was never taken seriously. I went for my back and had xrays done because I was having trouble walking the past 6 weeks. My job is completely physical and I am a flight attendant. Dr. Cassat put me on physical therapy 3 times a week. However, he refused to admit to my insurance company that i could not work. I spoke to his nurse Rachel two times in person pleading for him to just say that I was injured and unable to work. I have never gone to such a heartless rude doctor. I have found another orthopedic doctor. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!!

I was certain I knew what was wrong with my back. Dr Cassat asked how l knew what it was?? After a few minutes he told me the Real cause of my pain. Thanks, Dr Mike. I’m forever grateful to be on the mend. Sami

Okay please forgive me for telling a lie. I have not had the chance to se this, from what I have studied, wonderful Doctor! I am in need of a family practitioner as well as a orthopedic. PLEASE IF U HAPPDN TO COME UPON THIS, DR. CASSAT, PLEASE CONSIDER ME AS A PATIENT!!!???????????? My fear is hips CRUSHING due to avascular notrosis(forgive spelling)! It's been two years n counting.
