Dr. Casagrande has been my personal doctor for about 20 years now, he is very detail oriented, remembers personal details that have helped treat my medical issues. His staff is amazing, friendly, and always professional. I highly recommend Dr. Casagrande his practice truly is a great experience!
Tried to make an appointment today as I was feeling under the weather I was told I had to get a Covid test first I don’t have any of the symptoms other than a mild cough she said I had symptoms because I had a headache which I have every day she insisted it was company policy since Covid started. I said no I have never had to do that since Covid started that I am retired and I’m not around anybody I don’t have Covid. I was forced to go to another doctor for this reason. Dr. Casagrande is a great doctor but once again his front desk is terrible. He just lost a patient because of it this time. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the front desk. She ended up hanging up on me. Dr. Casa grande is a great doctor and all his nurse staff Excellent his front desk is horrible. I should not be forced to get a Covid test when I do not have symptoms a headache is not a symptom especially when I have them every day!!!!
Went to him cuz my pcp is too far. Told him I've been on benzo for 25 years because of bad anxiety and ptsd. He said will taper off slowly until we stop. Went to the next appointment, he rudely and totally refused to give me refill and said he doesn't wanna jeopardize his practice and left me hanging worried about having seizures cuz stopping benzo cold turkey would cause them. He put my life at risk and didn't give a damn! I would not recommend him to my worst enemy! RUN AWAY AS FAST AS U CAN!
Cannot speak to the medical staff as I had no interaction with them. The front office however is the worst I have encountered in my life. I noticed the other reviews and tried anyway...guess that was my fault.

Great doctor however the staff is absolutely terrible. Literally the worst experience ever with a medical office staff. Find other options if you’re considering this office. RUN RUN RUN
Dr. Casagrande is awesome -- professional and forthright with a twist of humor. The medical staff in general is always amiable and knowledgeable. However, several of the office staff can be impudent and condescending at times. They seem to lose sight of the fact that patients are actually paying, repeat customers purchasing their services. It's no wonder why they felt compelled to put a sign outside the check-in window that warns about verbal abuse against the office staff. Does this really happen that often? I absolutely love Cheryl Wirth! I switched to this office after having some issues with my previous GP office. I like that this office is independent and NOT run by a huge hospital. I appreciate the time they spend with you and treat you like a human not a number. I also love the fact they don’t force masks on their staff and patients. They leave the choice up to you! Unfortunately, the doctor and PA are great but the staff is terrible. I have gone to this office for several years. One time I sat in the exam room waiting for the doctor to see me and the entire waiting period consisted of my listening to the medical assistant talk rude and hateful to her patients over the phone and then proceed to slam the phone down after each call AND swear out loud. I heard this all. I always had the feeling that I was a bother to her and that she disliked her job. This was confirmation that I was correct. The best part of that office is the girl that draws the labs and she does not work for the office directly. She works for labcorp. I am done and am transferring out. It is a battle and I mean battle each time I try to get my medications refilled. There are always problems. I feel like I am always treated like I am a criminal at that office. The nerve of me expecting my medications to be called into the pharmacy correctly!!!!

I've been going to Dr Casagrande for ten years and I needed three days of a refill for my anxiety meds until my appointment which was two days away. The staff did not return my phone calls and when I eventually called they told me it was 'policy' not to refill that type of prescription. Even though this was literally something I'd been taking for years and it wasn't an opiod or xanax, it was a daily maintenance pill. I had to reschedule my appointment for the next day - thank goodness I have flexibility. I'm beyond upset right now. Do not use this doctor, I have been loyal over the years, but this is it.
The office staff sinks. They don't care about what you need or communicate well. My husband even had a test done & the results weren't posted to his portal correctly. Here didn't find this out until months later when he went in to discuss his frustrations about the staff.
I showed up for my appointment and not a single person working in their office was wearing a mask-during a pandemic!!!! I’m promptly told the reception I was not staying and left. They sent me a bill that says no show. I would never recommend this office to anyone in the area.

This doctor is a joke. He discontinued all of my medicine that you are supposed to taper off of as a psychiatric patient and just cold turkey stopped it (not narcotics by the way) was due to me being pregnant but instead of tapering me off or finding something safer just tells me to discontinue it completely. Had to see the nurse practitioner because he’s always running behind. I would not suggest this doctor for any type of psychiatric help. Pathetic. This place use to be awesome, until they created the patient portal app. Getting anything done now is a hassle.
My family including my 94 year old Mother, Husband, Daughter and myself had been patients for the past 11 years. The office has always had a lot of turnover. It is difficult to get specialty referrals and prescriptions refilled on a timely basis, so much so, that other specialists and pharmacies in the area say, "oh, that office, yes, it's difficult to get things from them." Front office and nurses have been known to be short and rude. However, we all, always liked Dr. Casagrande very much. I never understood why the office was such a mess, until I met his extremely unprofessional, rude and unaccommodating office manager, who happens to be his wife. My husband had been trying to have prescriptions refilled for 2 weeks prior to a business trip and was told they were having problems with their system and to come in for samples to tide him over. I arrived at 4:10, door says they're open until 4:15, to an empty office. No one to help me, samples were no where to be found. Steer Clear!
An established patient should NOT be told on a Monday morning that they can’t be scheduled for even a phone call or virtual visit until FRIDAY when they are symptomatic and had a positive covid test 3 days ago!! Good Lord he’s the primary care physician!! Horrible patient centered care, only PHYSICIAN CENTERED practice!????
Dr Casagrande is very smart! He will always tell you the truth and is straight forward about it. We have gone to him for many years and feel there is not a more knowledgeable doctor in this area.
Great first visit! Extremely attentive & asks copious questions pertaining to health, lifestyle & family history so nothing is overlooked. Very informative & approachable. The front staff & nurse were all delightful!

Dr Casagrande is a great medical professional. He is always straight forward & doesn’t sugarcoat anything. The issue is the office staff - the phones are hardly answered, I’ve been put on hold for 10+ minutes before. The office manager has a serious attitude & power complex. I sent messages through their portal & would not receive a response for several weeks. I was a day late on returning a machine & they charged my card a penalty. My fault that I forgot they closed early on Friday, but I heard with my own ears the office gal boasting that I was the first person she’s ever had the pleasure of charging a late fee too. The medical staff do a great job: Mandie was wonderful when she worked there, and Cheryl and Dr. Casagrande are both very knowledgeable and kind. The office staff are less than friendly, though, and every time I call to make an appointment I'm put on hold for at least five minutes. Loved the whole experience from the checkin to checkout. Reception was super nice, the nurse I spoke to was really down to earth and funny. The nurse practionier explained everything thoroughly. Most painless doctors appointment ever.
Absolutely love this Doctor and staff! He has helped me so much from my sleep disorder to my prediabetes. Always listens to what I have to say and really connects with his patients. Dr. C is the ONLY Dr. That my hubby feels comfortable with seeing.

Great office!!! Super friendly staff!! Kendra at the front desk is always so nice, helpful and efficient. I especially love Cheryl Wirth (NP), and her assistant Lori, who always take such good care of me!
Dr. Casagrande is very good. I have been coming here for over 10 years. Front office staff is rude and incompetent. It is not worth the attitude of staff to keep coming here. I will be looking for a new Dr. to go to.
Patient Alert: Please be aware that this office charges a $40 administrative fee to submit a pre-authorization for a prescription. Many drugs do not require pre-authorization. However, many specialty drugs and injectable drugs require a pre-authorization. Only a Doctor can submit this form for a drug you need. This fee is not covered by your health insurance plan. It is a revenue fee for the provider's office. It is a Doctors responsibility to complete any process for pre-authorization of any drug requiring a pre-authorization with the insurance carrier or offer a lower cost drug. Most Doctors DO NOT charge this fee. In fact, I could not find one Doctor that did charge a fee to submit the form to an insurance carrier to pre-authorize a needed drug.
Terrible doctor does not answer his message service, have to go to hospital now due to patient abandonment and negligence. Stay away from this doctor if you value your health!

However I had a problem come up trying to get my prescriptions refilled after my appointment and ended up having to call the after hours line. 5 calls no resolution. This was my 3rd appointment at Dr. Casagrandre's office. My 2 previous appointments were fine. I was super happy to have found a family doctor I liked in our new town. However, today I will be looking for another family practice. I am sick. Called and got a same day appt with a nurse practitioner in the office. I work nights, so I stayed awake to get to my appointment. I arrived early. I was taken back about 10 minutes past my appt time. THEY LEFT ME IN THE EXAM ROOM FOR AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES!!!! I was scheduled for an appointment today to establish care. I arrived 15 minutes early, when my wife told me I would have to wait, and she also explained that when she calls they will pick up the phone and hang up, multiple times, so I knew what I was getting into but there were good reviews and we are new to Texas. I waited in the waiting room for almost an hour before being called back, as I sat there I watched others come and leave, along with drug reps, including one that brought the employees lunch. After I finally got called back they took my wait and blood pressure and left me alone in the room. I sat there for another 30 minutes until I walked back to the front where I waited for 5 minutes while they helped another patient, and no one asked if I needed anything even though a few nurses walked by me, until I finally just left. I should have known when I walked in and saw the receptionists window closed that they are not a personal family practice and I want a family practice that cares and has a personal relationship with me. I have been coming to Dr. Casagrande since May of 2011. He has a wonderful bedside manner of any doctor I been to in my 50 years. He spends time with you, talks about your concerns and answers questions you may have, without trying to run out the room to the next patient. Each patient is important to him. If I have to wait sometimes more than usual I remind my self he is giving great care to the patient before me and then I will get the same care. The staff works really hard to get my paper work ready and sends right away my forms to get ultrasound or MRI's... I feel like I am in a safe place with family who truly care about me. I switched TO Dr. Casagrande from another Dr in Tomball. I have been there ~6 times in 1.5 years, and have not seen nor experience any of the negative stuff written here. Yes, Debbie is wonderful lady. Dr. Casagrande came in and sat with me and we talked health care probably 25 min. It was nice not to feel as if I was on a assembly line of patients. I believe he cares about his patients health. I think they have gone out of their way to accommodate me, and fulfill my request. Jeffrey

I have PKD. A year ago my blood pressure started to skyrocket. Dr. C changed my meds to get it under control and urged me to start working with a nephrologist to monitor my PKD and fine tune my meds further. I did so and the nephrologist reviewed my meds and told me that Dr. C had prescribed the perfect regiment to control PKD driven high blood pressure and that it was extremely rare for a general practitioner to prescribe such a regiment. The doctors share information back and forth on a continuous basis to ensure any new meds for non PKD related medical issues will not interfere with their treatment of my PKD. I have PKD. One of the best Doctor's I have ever had. He is knowledgeable, smart and takes the time to listen. He has been right on in his diagnose. I have been seeing him for about 10 years or so. I drive all the way from Willis, TX just to see him. BTW, his office staff is outstanding. I couldn't ask for anything better. With Dr. "BigHouse" at my side I have nearly cured my diabetes. He is a very smart doctor but doesn't spend time with you or actually listen. He seems to fix his eyes on a certain diagnosis without really listening to what you have to say. I have been seeing him for two years to get refills on my medications. His bedside manner is really terrible, and he acts like he knows everything and isn't open minded. He's hard to get an appointment with if it's something urgent, and often the office will schedule you with his NP or PA instead of Dr without telling you

I have been seeing Dr. Casagrande for several years. He has been a very thorough doctor for me, always explaining things in detail and providing good care. In order to see Dr. Casagrande, appointments need to be made weeks in advance. Although Dr. Casagrande has been great, I'm now considering a change. Staff isn't very friendly and the office has recently implemented administrative fees that were not communicated in advance. These fees are not covered by insurance or FSA. Beware.

Dr. Casagrande and his staff are negligent of geriatric and non-ambulatory patients. My parents, especially my father, are suffering due to his lack of care. I am shocked and appalled. Please be very careful.

Although Dr Casagrande has subject matter expertise for sleep disorders, his support staff makes it a very trying experience to get care, e.g., I had to reschedule 2 separate sleep studies because his staff failed to send the necessary information to the sleep center even after I had to remind them multiple times. Furthermore, they did not process the report from the center and after two weeks had elapsed I finally got them to follow up. You will see multiple reviews attesting to this dilemma

He is always very thorough in his examinations and, I feel, always takes the time to truly listen to his patients. You won't get an internal med Doctor more brilliant than him anywhere in my experience.
IN MY OPINION I WOULD RATHER DIE AND MEET JESUS THAN SEE THIS DOCTOR. I would give this a 0 if I could.!!! Very bad experience with the PA at the office and later with the office manager. My son's had an appointment for a physical and seen by the PA He did not even know the process for a physical and did not do the eye test and what was required of him. He billed the visit as allergies and weight gain when I had specifically gone for a physical and was covered at 100% I got a bill for 180.00 and I was upset. I called him many times, the office would never connect me to him.He did not even have the decency to call me back I called the manager and she was even worse than him. when I had told her that I had appealed to UHC and they say that it can be rebilled she said that she cannot do it. I got the rep from UHC on a conference call and she refused even her! all it would take is send the claim by mail and she would have got paid by UHC ( albeit a lesser amount because it is preventative) I then wrote the check but with a very bad feeling for no fault of mine. I pay for Healthinsurance and then if I have to pay for cheats like these- I have no words to express myself. You kind of assume people in the healthcare business are there to help and a few like these just spoil it for the good practices. I hope that the person who reads this finds a doctor who can help them instead of cheating them. Waiting four days for a call back to refill a prescription which has now run out. Have used online booking system and called the office. No response. Have been seeing this doctor for four years and after repeatedly waiting for extended time past my appointment times and ultra-brief appointments, it's time to move on to someone who cares.
Assures me I have apnea based upon my initial consultation. Talks me into taking $700.00 worth of tests, that end up showing nothing. Tells me on multiple occasions to answer a certain way on questionnaires so insurance will pay for it. After the results come back for thee tests - I have no issues, I just snore. $700.00 to tell me I just snore. Pure Scam Artist. Avoid this doctor and go to someone else for sleep issues.
