Dr Carron and his staff went above and beyond normal procedures to get my surgery approved through the health insurer. Twice my surgery was canceled. The office staff continuously kept in touch with me and the insurer to dot the T's and cross the I's. My surgery was a great success. I can now breathe through my nose!! Sleeping now is a rejuvenating time where I hadn't experienced that in years. Thank You Dr Carron and Staff. Am I happy?? You bet your AZZ I am!!

Dr. Carron was extremely professional, compassionate and informative. I came to him with a number of issues and he took the time to listen, advise and provide a sound treatment plan. He is both a surgeon and ENT specialist, which showed not only his bedside manner, but his expertise in the field. His office staff were also warm and welcoming.

Dr. Carron is a facial plastic surgeon, specializing in trauma repair, more so than cosmetic surgery. He listened to my concerns and was direct, efficient and compassionate at the same time. I greatly appreciated his intervention and treatment of a situation that was not satisfactorily resolved by previous providers. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Carron and it was very unsuccessful, both cosmetically and functionally. My nose is less attractive and my breathing is much, much worse than it was before. I had terrible bruising and swelling, much more than would be expected from even a revision rhinoplasty, and I believe this is because Dr. Carron is rougher than necessary in his approach. Anytime I voiced my concerns during my follow up appointments, he dismissed what I was saying, and even told me I might want to consider whether I should see a therapist for my “imagined” issues. I’m not imagining the fact that I can’t breathe well. He offered to do a “little dipsy doo” to help fix things, but at this point I don’t want him coming near my face or nose ever again. There were also times I had to wait for over an hour to see him, and there would be no apology or acknowledgement of how long I’d been sitting there waiting.

Also, he knicked my lip during surgery with a scalpel, and put one stitch in to help it heal without a scar (which it did, thankfully). I understand that accidents happen, but what I don’t like is that he admitted to it happening after my surgery, and told both me and my mother why he placed the stitch. I had no problem with that. However, in a subsequent follow up appointment, he denied that it was from his scalpel. It seemed like a silly thing to lie about when I wasn’t even upset about it in the first place, and when he was the one who told me about it. He’s a nice enough guy, but I feel like I spent thousands of dollars and went through an in unnecessarily difficult recovery for nothing. Actually, less than nothing, as I’m now worse off.

I consulted Dr Carron regarding a fresh noticeable scar on my forehead. He recommended we do nothing and just let it heal. Noticing the difference in skin tone and texture of my face and neck, he recommend a series of Broad Band Light treatments to knock out the underlying inflammation. We are now 18 months on and my scar is practically unnoticeable, my face is the smoothest it’s ever been, the same tone as the rest of my body, and on two separate occasions, friends stopped in mid sentence to comment on how good my face looks. I was beaming! They did not know of my treatments, so it was the greatest compliment to both me and Dr. Carron. I look forward to completing the BBLs and on to the next procedure, skin resurfacing. I only wish I had known about this earlier. Thanks, Dr. Carron, for uncovering the real me!

Staff friendly & prompt. Doctor though.. Very rude. Made hurtful comments in regards to the issue I was wanting cosmetic surgery on. I felt attacked & humiliated. I left the appointment in tears. He also answered his cell phone in midst of consultation. Unprofessional. Will NOT be having my surgery done by him.

My 16 year old son had ssues with his nose internally and physically Dr.Carran was very upfront and thorough with every step and the results were amazing and it’s only been a month

Dr. Carron recently took care of mom. He provided excellent care and we are very happy with the cosmetic results. Department and Dearborn is very lucky to have such an amazing physician. He listens and provides best possible options and is so friendly and easy to communicate.

If i could give him zero stars i would. Did a septoplasty and i regret even doing anything to my nose. First, the procedure did nothing to my nose. I still cannot breathe from my right nostril. Second, the appearance of my nose after the procedure, i swear He messed me up bad. Now i know why he kept pushing towards a septo/rhinoplasty. He told me not to recommend any of my friends unless if they want a messed up nose. Michael couldn't take care of a simple pain. He told me I need two injections, a surgery, a mouth guard, laser for my eye freckle and acnes which are completely irrelevant and unnecessary. He interrupts you all the time and doesn't let you speak for your health which is very unprofessional. He has a really bad attitude and doesn't make eye contact. There are students in the clinic who clearly lack experience. I went to a good doctor and he recommended an over the counter medication which completely solved the simple pain I had within two weeks. Dr. Carron is straight forward and informational, he gets right to business. I had rhinoplasty and reduction of turbinates by Dr. Carron 2 weeks ago. I can not express how happy I am with the results of the rhinoplasty. He said it was going to be an easy process, minimal pain, and that’s what I experienced. He’s great! Dr. Carron did an outstanding job for my son on his nose. My son had a bump on the bridge of his nose and Dr Carron was able to do surgery with a closed approach that left no scars and he healed perfectly. His nose looks so natural and he couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Carron, Is one of the most precise Doctors I have ever known. It feels great to have a Doctor with simple non evasive cosmetic procedures make you look 10 years younger. I had hereditary dark puffy circles under my eyes... after a simple filler and Dr. Carrons artistry - I walked out with zero darkness and the bags under my eyes had disappeared. Go no further for phenomenal results Dr. Carron’s work is by far the best!

Reply Flag Dr. Carron is an exceptional ENT and facial plastic surgeon! He did a septoplasty & rhinoplasty on me 18 months ago and the results are terrific! He, also, recently did a chin filler and fine line filler to my forehead lines! He truly cares about your health and you as a patient; he had to refer me to a hematology doctor because of some malnutrition problems I was having- along with referring me to a nutritionist...this is beyond what a normal doctor would take the time to do! He truly cares about each patient individually! He’s amazing!

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Carron because I heard so many good things about him, and he sure lived up to that reputation. He was very straightforward and honest. Explained the procedure thoroughly and made me feel comfortable with him as my surgeon. I can't wait to get my rhinoplasty!

Do not recommend. I saw him when I was younger for some dizziness and he put MENIERES DISEASE on my medical record (false. I do not have menieres disease). Disqualified me for NROTC. Edit: to Michael Carron's response, no you did not as I was disqualified after that. Also timely reply, 5 years later. Also, I would like to revisit this review and add that you saying I had Menieres Disease essentially ruined my planned future. I had been planning and wanting to contribute to the United States by joining the military and serving our country, but you took my dream away from me. Please read that!!!!!!! 3 years ago I went to dr Carron because I had hoarness and I felt something Stocked in my throat he did scope and told me it’s acid reflux I was surprised because I didn’t have any sign in the stomach or the esophagus he answered by “it’s silent”!!! I trusted him because he’s the doctor not me and he gave me omeprozole for 2 months.after one moth I started feeling pain in my stomach. And the throat problem didn’t change but he told me to continue the medication... After 4 months I went for follow with my irritated throat he told it’s “allergy”... He send before for throat therapy how checked deeply there’s no sing of acid it just red... Dr carron destroyed my life since 3 years by giving me a wrong medicine....!!!!!! What can I do after I took I changed the name of he’s medicine to Pepcid and nexium and than the problem wasn’t acid but allergy... Dr. Michael Carron is the worst otolaryngologist you will ever experience. I went once after I broke my nose so I can make it straight. He recommended me if I want to also fix my nasal passages because I had a little hard time breathing. I trusted him and after few years until today he made it worse. I consulted with 4 Doctors before I was referred to Dr. Michael Carron to handle my Medical situation. Due to severe trauma to my face, jaw, neck, throat, and skull, I consulted with Dr. Carron on what he could do. Over a period of a year, Dr. Carron using several procedures was able to repair my skull, rebuild my jaw, fix broken cheek bones, repair damage to my throat from a Tracheotomy, and repair my eye lid. Dr. Carron treated me for my sinus problems. He did surgery to straighten and clean out my sinus passages. I was surprised to find out what a big difference it actually made. Before the surgery I really couldn't tell how bad my sinuses were. I guess I was just used to it. Now I can breathe so much easier it is hard to believe. It really made a difference. I wish I hadn't waited so long to have it done. He also treated my wife for vertigo approx. 2 yrs. ago and she has had great results. His office is great to deal with and very helpful! Dr Carron is very aware of different skin types and what is appropriate for each. He was also very specific on post treatment healing instructions. I went to see Dr. Carron for shortness of breath. He tried to treat me by medication since I was scared of surgery. Once it was obvious surgery was the answer he took excellent care of me and alleviated my fears about surgery. I would highly recommend him he truly cares.

Had a surgical procedure done on my skull here by this guy. He felt that I didn’t need any pain medication through the healing process. I do agree that pain medication shouldn’t be prolonged after a period of time. BUT AFTER SURGERY? If he had told me that he wouldn’t have prescribe me any pain medication while I heal my SKULL I wouldn’t have gotten this procedure done. Thanks Doctor!

I had a brow lift jan 16th 2020. Dr carron did an excellent job. I would definately recommend him to whoever needs a great ent dr.

Have been calling for a month, even went to the Troy Office once, to see if a $2,500.00 (out of pocket) Fine Needle Aspiration was absolutely a Necessity since the MRI shows a Lipoma. My question is if he has to go in and remove it anyway, can he have it tested then. My procedure is now in two days, and still no word. Understand this took planning and time off work. The rudeness of not at least returning my call is shameful for a health care professional. I plan to cancel my procedure and look for a different Doctor. I do not trust a Professional that cannot return a call over a month, I could have accepted a staff member calling with a response. But nothing????

Dr. Carron found my squamous cancer on my face. It was aggressive and advancing under my lip and actually was growing into my lip. My Mohs doctor was colleagues with Dr. Carron who was fabulous as well. After the Mohs surgery it was up to Dr. Carron to fix the hole that was bigger than a 50 cent piece and a portion of my lip. 2.5 years later along with multiple surgery's I can say I would trust Dr. Carron with my life. He actually save my jaw by finding the cancer. He is empathic, kind and excellent trauma surgeon!! I would venture to say a Magician with how he transformed my scars!!

He talked me into an unnecessary surgery, which happened to be the WORST surgery I’ve ever had! I went in for a cyst behind my ear & he told me I had a deviated septum (I could breathe fine at the time & I told him that), but he said it was better to do surgery now rather than later because it would only get worse, so I believed him. It has been almost 3 years since surgery & I breathe so much worse now & have allergy’s that I’ve never had before. Also it changed appearance of my nose, which he didn’t inform me that it would. I would not recommend this surgery for anyone that doesn’t ABSOLUTELY need it!...And I wouldn’t recommend this doctor either. He also did some laser treatments for me for rosacea that didn’t work at all & was waste of $ and painful. Good luck to you all!

Waited over an hour. There were many irritated patients in the waiting room. The doctors concerns were misdirected. Was more concerned with what was wrong with my face then the medical illness that brought me in there. Testing that was recommended was never scheduled. Nearly a week after and the testing was still not scheduled. Every time I call, I get a different excuse on why it hasnt been scheduled. Very disappointed and frustrating as the problem still has not been resolved.

Dr. Carron is the most approachable doctor I have ever met - he's sympothetic to all my needs and answers many of my questions. He personally returns my texts and phone calls. A great doctor and caring human being. I have referred 12 of my lady friends so far. Marly

Definitely the best Doctor for plastic surgery! Very caring and understanding. Takes his time to meet all your concerns. I found his work in surgery to very artistic! I'm so pleased I chose him to preform my procedure. The outcome was more than I expected and I'm very happy!

I had my procedure done in June I feel amazing , everything looks great . I am very happy that I chose This doctor, I was very comfortable with him and his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs facial procedures done!!

Micheal Carron is excellent physician ! He was very informative and detailed about my procedure. I felt comfortable discussing my issues and he was able to give me detailed explanation pre and post procedure. I had my surgery in July and I can not thank him enough for the results. I had nasal turbinate reduction and dorsal hump removed. He has wonderful bed side manners and was there before and after I went into the OR. I would MOST Definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr Carron is amazing! My wife and I live in south Florida, but spend summers in Michigan.We were fortunate to meet Dr Carron last year,and just returned from another appointment. She wanted dysport and restylane, ( ok I had some too !). He is the best! He is truly special. My wife is a beautiful Latina, and has gone to the "top docs" in Miami, for the same treatments, and says none compare to Dr Carron! Old joke: if you are in Florida & need a good doctor,where do you go? To the airport!

I had a botched nose job that left me with one side of my nasal passage blocked with scar tissue. I was unable to breathe properly & my nose was deviated & not symmetrical. After a year of suffering I decided to see doctor Carron. He listened to my concerns, & was very empathetic. We discussed how he could fix my issues. He seemed very knowledgeable & capable of fixing my problems. After I had my nasal surgery I began to breathe like a champion! I'm so grateful & blessed to have found Dr. Carron

Excellent physician. He took his time with me concerning my problems. He set me at ease. HIs staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in, and barely got to sit down in his clean, comfortable office which was really easy to find. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease. They helped me out with arranging for the additional testing I needed. Dr Carron helped me to understand my health issues and made me feel very very comfortable. I highly recommend this doctor.

This doctor is amazing. I didn't know what to expect when I came into the room. I had hearing loss and ringing in my ears and didn't understand why. This doctor from beginning to the end of the appointment was awesome. The hearing test was completed right away - I didn't have to come back. Everything taken care of right away. He and his staff put my mind at ease and I got the answers that I needed in understanding what was wrong with me! Thank you Dr. Carron!

I wanted to have Botox injections and of course was very nervous about this. My friends have had different experiences with non certified beauty spa or home parties. Dr Carron was great. He helped me to understand how he would proceed and it was painless and I could see an immediate difference. He has new technology that I have never heard of. I plan on recommending him to all my friends. Great staff. I felt at home.
