Dr. Burnette is a very kind and compassionate man. He listened and I didn't feel embarrassed or rushed throughout the visit. Instead I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. I'm so grateful because I was very nervous. I'm also grateful for his kind nurse. Thank you both, see you again soon.

Great Dr Love his staff

Dr. spent quality time with me, explaining things so I could understand. He also listens to me and my concerns.

It was a great visit ,first time at the Habana location. The staff were great so friendly and knowledgeable and was concerned with my health needs . I was gonna change Doctors cuz I moved to Brooksville but now the drive in wasn't bad at all.

This is the most accommodating staff you will ever find. I have been going here for about 10 years and wish every office was the same.

Excellent rumatologist Dr. Michael Burnette, every visit is a great one and he listen to my needs.

Dr. B has been my rheumatologist for over 30 yrs. He is top in his profession.

Great doctor. Great Staff. Never a long wait.

As allways, meeting with Dr. Burnette is a pleasant and wonderfull encounter. Thats why I have enjoyed his meetings for several years and hopefully will continue for many, many more.

I would not recommend seeing this particular doctor. My wife is a newer patient of his, and over the 3-4 visits that she has had, he has completely ignored her critical symptoms and areas of pain. He focuses on a few singular questions, and repeats them over and over again (upwards of 10 times in a single visit). He couldn't even recall what he has diagnosed her with, given he had his notes in front of him at her latest visit. Overall he seems like he is either completely unfocused, or starting to develop dementia. See someone else unless you want to waste your time. I would not recommend seeing this particular doctor. I'm a new patient, saw Dr. Burnett on 11/30/2021. I asked to refill my two medications with a 90 Days supplies. The nurse only sent 30 days supplies to my pharmacy. When I called the nurse first time, she didn't tell me anything, just let me to ask my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy, they have never received my 90 Days supplies prescription. I have called Dr. Burnett's nurse many times and left messages every time to ask to resend a 90 Days supplies prescriptions of my medications; But nobody call me back, no one send 90 days supplies to my pharmacy. Dr. Burnette has been my RA physician for years. Everyone I've come in contact with at BayCare have been super professional, friendly and caring. They even let my husband Tony come in the lab and sing to me while I'm getting blood drawn. That's true caring. Betty Houston

Hard headed doctor at Baycare does not listen. For them charging hundreds they should do a better job. To them it is all about the money. Avoid

Not a good experience at all. He is friendly, but doesn't really listen and gives very poor answers when you ask a question. I have been dealing with some new issues for most of this year and I already have a previous rheumatological diagnosis. No consideration was given that the new symptoms I was having could be rheumatologically related, even classic symptoms like joint pain and fatigue! He attributed them to everything else except a rheumatological problem. Didn't really explore other drug options for me except Prednisone, and gave no direction on how to take it. I guess he assumed I could figure it out myself! I finally got another rheumatologist, but it was outside of Baycare because so many other Baycare doctors will not take new patients and they will not let you switch to his partner either very easily.

I have been shocked by the incompetence of the doctor and the office stuff, especially the office manager who had a chance to make the things work. In the September during my visit, I alerted the doctor about the need to renew my prescription that was expiring at the end of November. He assured me that he would take care of it right away. He did not. I called the office at the beginning of December when my specialty medication did not arrive. They apologized but messed up again. I requested to speak with the office manager- another incompetent person in the office. She assured me that all will be taken care off and she will investigate who failed to send the paperwork. That was long before Christmas. She did nothing! I called Acredo and they still were missing papers from the doctor. I called the office again and requested to speak with the office manager, again. They did not put me through, but assured me with apologies that they called Acredo. After calling Acredo, I have learned that the office failed again. I called my insurance asking for help. The insurance left me a message that they called the doctor's office on my behalf to expedite medication. It is January 8th and I am still waiting! I can't express how upsetting it is to deal with with these people. They have a horrible database, they do not communicate between each other and they do not care. Thanks to Doctor Burnett, his stuff, and Bay Care officer manager, I have been left with no medication for over a month at this moment and I am not sure what else I can do. They do not seem to get things or handle things right. If i could, I would give them no stars. Worst doctor I've ever seen. Does not do Internal Medicine or Crohn's. I had some scary life changing lab results and he came in took one look at me and said "Oh you don't have that". Then he suggested rx's that Crohn's patients cannot even take and are detrimental. Spent maybe 7 mins with me and didn't look at my paperwork or listen to anything I said.
