Dr. Michael Joseph Brown

I cannot say enough about Dr. Brown and his work. I originally utilized his services in 2006 for breast implants. Almost exactly 18 years later I returned to have my implants replaced and a crescent lift. My experience was AMAZING!!! Dr. Brown listened to my concerns and ensured i was happy! Surgery was quick, recovery even better! I was cleared to workout at my post op 6 days later. I had a lymphatic massage at the one week mark and she raved about how his work was the best she had ever seen! I am 2 weeks post surgery and can’t even tell I had it. Best part is that I am in love with the outcome.

I did an extensive search for a plastic surgeon specializing in breast lift and removal of implants. I had a breast lift elsewhere in my 40s w saline implants. I was told I needed implants as I would not have enough breast tissue. I’m 5’1” and have been living with a full C size (not what I wanted) and now sagging for 10yrs. I’m now 10 weeks post-op after a breast lift performed by Dr. Brown. I am so pleased with my results - I should have done this a long time ago. He and his staff took great care of me; there was always somebody ready to answer questions at anytime and I felt well cared for during and after the procedure. Dr. Brown and Amber were very informative about the results I should realistically expect (and why, which was interesting) and they met every expectation. My experience with Dr. Brown and his team (big shout out to Nurse Amber!) was, simply put, absolutely perfect. After extensive research, and finally, watching Dr. Brown’s LIVE STREAM of surgeries on YouTube, I made my consultation in August 2020. Upon my initial meeting with Dr. Brown and Nurse Amber I was even more convinced that my choice was correct. Dr. Brown is intensely dedicated to making sure his potential clients understand the entire process from start to finish; the possibilities/realities of the surgery itself; and was more than helpful with any questions I had. My surgery was scheduled before I left the office that day for a little more than four weeks later. I did have a small hiccup with an infection that delayed my initial surgery day, but they had me rescheduled very quickly (within three weeks). The day of my surgery went very well. While I was in smaller, separate space as I seen was stated in a previous review for November, I took that as a sign to keep patients separate for 1) safety (post op infections, etc) and 2) HIPPA rights and regulations. Every nurse, Dr. Brown, and my anesthesiologist came into my space wearing masks and gloves before taking me into surgery. As I write this I’m exactly one week post op from my breast lift and augmentation, and have had no problem reaching out to Dr Brown and his team with any questions I may have had on my road to recovery. Not only would I return to Dr Brown and his team for any future cosmetic work I may wish to have, but trust in him enough that I have already had friends and family members either express a desire to set up a consultation with him, or have already set a date to meet with him and his team based on my experience with him for themselves. Dr. Brown’s bedside manner is heartfelt and kind; his team is amazing; and his dedication to his client(s) in fulfilling their cosmetic needs is steadfast. Dr Brown is the best! He’s been at this for a long time. Friendly and will not suggest anything you don’t need. His aesthetic talents are what separate him out from the rest. After having multiple consultations in my hometown of Oklahoma City, I still was not !00% comfortable with choosing any of them for a third breast surgery. I found Dr. Brown by searching the internet. After being able to watch some of his surgeries via you tube, I scheduled a consultation. After meeting him I was more than confident that I wanted him to do the surgery. I am about a month post op now, and I am very pleased with the results. Everyone treated me so well there, I almost didn't want to leave. I knew this was a complicated surgery and didn't want to be disappointed for a third time. I had surgery with Dr. Brown March 2020. I cannot express how amazing my experience was. From the moment I called to make my consult appointment with Lexi I knew this was a 1st class facility for plastic surgery and aesthetics. The entire staff took great care of me from start to finish. The consult with Dr. Brown and Amber was professional, thorough, and extensive. They answered every question that I had without making me feel rushed . . . no question went unanswered. Fat graft did not work post breast cancer for reconstruction. Had necrosis that finally went away years later. Acted like he could do anything and was the best.

I normally don’t take the time to write a review but due to how difficult it was for me to make the decision on cosmetic surgery coupled with deciding on which doctor and team to trust, I feel compelled to share my experience with others. Dr. Brown and his team are absolutely incredible. I had so many questions and concerns leading up to my surgery. Dr. Brown, Amber and Melissa answered every single one, eased my nerves and made me comfortable every step of the way including the day of surgery. During my recovery, Dr. Brown and Amber were always available for any questions and concerns I had. Dr. Brown and his wonderful staff made me feel at home coming in. We went over everything I wanted done for my lift and liposuction to my chin. Amber made sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about what I would need to be prepared. The day of surgery the staff made me laugh and made sure I was comfortable because I was nervous. I had breast augmentation surgery with Dr Brown about a month ago and had an amazing experience throughout the whole process. The initial consultation was very thorough, the doctor did not rush and answered all my questions. I brought him a picture of the size I wanted and he recommended the right cc for the implants. My daughter went to Dr. Brown 6 years ago to have a bump on the bridge her nose fixed. Dr. Brown has a very soft demeanor and seemed to put my daughter at ease. I on the other hand didn't really care for his ultra soft personality, but I had heard positive things about him. I knew the procedure with Dr. Brown was more costly than other plastic surgeons in the area, but I wanted it done correctly the first time. When we sat down with the doctor to discuss what needed to be done to her nose we were told it would be an easy correction. Basically removing the bump and giving her a slight slope.....think Blake Lively. At no point did we want a thin button nose that would not look correct with my daughter’s Italian features. The surgery seemed to go fine but within a few weeks as the swelling was going down we saw that he had actually overly thinned her nose and the tip was noticeably pulled to the right. He told us to wait 6 months till all the swelling went down and he felt the tip would “right” itself. Of course it did not. We went back at 6 months to show him how it looked and he said to give it more time. When we went back the 4th time he gave us a new estimate to fix the problem. It was going to cost about $4600 after the initial $6300 for the original procedure. At no point would I ever let him near my daughter's nose again. After a few years the pull on the tip of her nose is very pronounced and it has really hurt her self-esteem. I am now in a position that I never wanted to be in, her having to have a rhinoplasty revision done. We have seen 1 plastic surgeon and an ENT specialist to do the repair. I found out that Dr. Brown had taken so much bone off her nose it will need a graft to rebuild it. Of course after the fact, I have now heard of other patients that have had issues. I am sure there are many patients thrilled with their plastic surgery results with Dr. Brown, but I am not one of them. I payed for butt Aug and Lipo of stomach, thighs and conturing of back. Let's just say I see zero improvement. I'm super disappointed! I know for a fact another doctor would of done a better job. Don't waste your MONEY!

Today, I went to his practice to see his nurse for the Filler and Botox. Amada is really nice and sweet. She made me feel comfortable with every injection she put in my face. :D Looking forward to a great result soon. I also met my favorite everything-beauty expert, Catherine. She is the best. She is very knowledgeable, fun, and sweet. Highly recommended. I wanted to give them only 4 stars not five because they had some miscommunication regarding my schedule early this week. I was very very upset. However, Dr. Brown made the trip there today to meet me and apologize. It was a surprise and I feel very good about it. It was not a quick apology. A review for Dr. Michael J. Brown: I had a breast lift, implants and liposuction done 2 years ago by The Austin Weston Center. I had a horrible experience there and was in constant pain from my implants. I finally decided to remove them and have scar revision done. My original scars from Dr. Weston were awful. Very wide, dark purple and very painful still. I had several consultations with local surgeons and was blessed to have someone recommend Dr. Michael Brown. I was immediately comfortable with him and his staff. They were all very sympathetic to the experience I had with the previous surgery and Dr. Brown made me very confident he could improve the scars and remove the implants successfully. He was very thorough with his examination of my problem area and spent time with me to address all of my concerns. I had the surgery with him and was in less pain by the end of surgery day than I had been in 2 years. I had heavy bleeding for days after my original surgery and Dr. Brown removed the implants and revised the scars with NO bleeding at all. Even the bandages were clean. I was SO impressed with Dr. Brown and his expertise. I will never again let anyone but him do any surgery on me. I also need my liposuction revised and he will be the one to do it. Dr. Brown did a breast augmentation, a mini tummy tuck, inner and outer thighs lipo on me. He also removed a lump that was under my armpit. He did a fantastic job. I look amazing! The scars are beautiful and I can hardly notice them. I couldn't be happier with the results. Before seeing Dr. Brown I had never had any surgery or been to consult with any other doctor about surgery. I feel that I am a beautiful woman but after breastfeeding two kids and having 2 c-sections my body changed.

BEST Botox result! I have been enjoying the benefits of Botox for 15 years now; however, I have learned over the years that 'not all Botox doctors are the same!'. I have tried dermatologists (one of the best rated in the area) and I needed 3 monthly top ups and even had strange puffy areas on my forehead weeks later! I have been to spas...go if you want uneven eyebrows! The bottom line...the very best results, that have lasted for 6 months or more, have been with Dr. Brown. I feel very privileged that a top plastic surgeon is also providing Botox services to his clients. The results are great and lasting. At 45, I have NO wrinkles. 09/05/2012 I recently had the pleasure of having multiple procedures done with Dr Brown and I am elated. I was so nervous being in the medical field prior to having my surgery that I spent countless hours researching many physicians in the NOVA area. When I stumbled upon his website my initial thought was that of excitement, remembering when I had met him during rounds at Fair Oaks Hospital and recalling his bright smile and kind response as we said hello. I began to examine his website and became surprisingly impressed be all of the videos and the amazing mini tummy tuck he preformed. He had wonderful result with his breast aug's and I immediately made an appointment. The day of my initial consult I felt very excited and wanted for this to be perfect because after watching the videos a couple of times I was convinced this option would be perfect for me. I had already consulted another surgeon that felt a full tummy tuck would be better and had been very "nice" at the consult, but I was not convinced that he was a perfect match. When I arrived at the office (I was early, which never happens) and I was greeted by the lovely staff. Then I was taken back by Amanda, his RN and she took the time to find out what exactly I was looking for. I was very interested in what Dr Brown's professional opinion would be and wanted his opinion to my suggestions? He suggested a size that he felt fit my personality (which I felt was a bit big) and he said that a mini tummy tuck would work perfectly to correct what I felt was my "problem area". I left the office and immediately began to figure out how to get a loan and knew without question he would be my surgeon. I called ahead and had them give me references for procedures and they did and the 2 women I spoke to were pleased beyond a doubt and that also helped me to feel even more comforted preoperative. When it came down to time to decisions I did choose the size he recommended and I am so glad I did... It is difficult to put into words how grateful and appreciative I am for Dr. Brown. He is an expert in his field and his genuine care and concern for his patients was obvious the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Brown's staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when dealing with insurance and appointments, and he was always willing to spend the extra time to make sure all of my questions were answered.
