He is amazing and the staff is so sweet. They have kids in mind from the moment you walk through the front door til the time you leave. He pulled my daughters tooth so discretely that even I was unaware it happened. She thought it was a magic trip. We love Dr. B this is his calling.

Dr. B and his staff create a welcoming and uniformly positive environment to teach kids good dental health. I appreciate that Dr. B always speaks directly with parents after each appointment to keep them updated on their child's progress, and to give a head's up on any issues. My 4 year old broke her tooth as we were going out of the country, so we got in to see Dr. Blen from a favor from a friend. The lady at the front desk was super nice, I must say that. However, when we were called back, I was immediately placed in a room and they took off with my child into another room. I then noticed the dentist came and saw and checked her. Then then came in the room to tell me she need so much work done that she needed to go to LeBhonheur to be out under to remove 2 of her teeth, that she had 8 cavities and 2 infections. I about fell over. I couldn’t get out fast enough! I immediately called her regular dentist who said to keep her on the antibiotic Dr. Blen sent her home with and she would be fine. She explained that they do not remove baby teeth because... they fall out on their own! I saw them on our dentist Monday when we returned. They filled her teeth that needed to be “removed” with an antibiotic and filled it. Then said she had one cavity, so they filled it. I was in an out within 15 min!!! 15 min for something Dr. Blen wanted to take her to the hospital to do! Not to mention she did not have 8 cavities! She had one. I will not be returning to him and happy with her regular dentist Dr. Wilkinson. Please don’t let him send your child to the hospital to remove baby teeth. ????. I’m not writing a review to be ugly. My children have been under Dr. B's care for over 6 yrs now. Great dentist, great staff, and a great atmosphere for the children. They have several options for kids who may get nervous while in their care to help get their mind of the fact that someone is literally in my mouth lol. We love Dr. B and his team! They are always so friendly and timely. My children look forward to their visits every 6 months. My daughter even got upset when her brother had an appointment and she didn't. Dr. B is very patient with them and discusses preventive measures and treatment. He is truly a partner in their dental care.

My girls LOVE Dr Blen and his staff!!! They may have a cavity from time to time, but he always makes it a positive experience, and they leave smiling every time. My girls will go to him until they can no longer! He's their favorite!

I have a 6 and a 3 years old, and we just saw Dr. B on Thursday. Since our last visit, my 3 year old has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and was a little hesitant this time to come since it had been 6 months and she couldn't remember everything from the last visit. After arriving, we had Erica as our dental hygienist who took time with her to show her everything and letting her feel everything before touching her with anything - there were no surprises - for an autistic child, taking time to put their anxiety at ease is huge - but in our fast-paced society, we so often don't feel like we have the time to slow down to explain things. Dr. B came in and talked to my daughter and she listened to his every word. She put on her sparkly sunglasses and laid down and let them actually clean her teeth and obeyed everything they asked of her. It was clear that they truly put her at ease and she was completely comfortable with where she was, what was happening and who was around her. Every single person, from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dentist to the checkout receptionist is truly doing a form of ministry in how they reach and communicate with the children. This is one of the most positive experiences I have ever had with a doctor/dentist’s office. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienists, to Dr. Blen himself are kind, thorough, and responsive to the child’s developmental level. So happy with my daughter’s care here.

We absolutely love Doctor B. My 7 and 4 year olds have been patients since they were 2 and 5 and have loved him and his staff from the start. The office is warm and welcoming, the front desk ladies are sweet and super on top of things, Doctor B is friendly and approachable, my children love him, and always want to come back. I am currently 16 years old, and I have been a patient at Dr. B's office since I was 3. My mom calls Dr. B the 'dental whisperer' because I have never, ever had a fear of visiting the dentist due to the way in which Dr. B calmly and carefully approaches each patient, especially the youngest ones. His welcoming smile, friendly hygienists, and colorful office decor set the mood for a fun and exciting trip to the dentist. Maybe his slogan should read, 'Never fear...Dr. B is here!' If you're ever in need of a pediatric dentist, Dr. B is the place to be! He was even able advise me on braces when the time came to get them. He recommended an excellent orthodontist and still maintained my cleanings in between. My four year-old son had his first dental checkup. Dr. Blen and his staff were terrific! They obviously understand the needs of young children in these types of medical settings. They were able to make him comfortable enough to take a set of mouth x-rays, too. I highly recommend Dr. Blen and his staff for pediatric dental care.

Dr. B and his staff are amazing! They completely understand children, how they communicate, and their fears so that they can successfully navigate that experience to be able to administer dental care. They know when to include the parent, and when it's time to have separation - and their communication with the parent during this process is excellent. We found Dr. Blen after 2 very bad dental experiences (in the eyes of my child). And one we loved but was so far away. Dr. Blen eased my son's anxiety and was able to do work he needed without me present which was a huge feat for my son. He helped my son trust a dentist again and be excited about the next time he would go in for a cleaning. I feel so blessed to have found such a sweet man with a true loving heart. You can tell he cares deeply about your child's experience being a positive one and giving your child a positive view of the dentist. He is the very best dentist I've ever been to and I wish I would've had him to care for me as a child. The staff is excellent, kind and all smiles. We love Dr B's office! I went into the office worried my son would cry and fight through trying to get his teeth cleaned/examined. (We had previously gone to another dentist, and he was terrified when the dentist tried examining his mouth). However, it was quite the opposite with Dr B's. The hygienists are excellent with the kids! They are so friendly and really connect with the kids. The hygienist took my son back, let him pick out a pair of "cool" sunglasses to wear during his cleaning, and then after his teeth were cleaned, Dr Blen examined my boy's teeth with no problems or tears. My son sat there, mouth open, and happily let them clean/examine his mouth. I was shocked it went so well and was such a positive experience (especially compared to my son's first visit at another office). After his cleaning, he got to pick out a toy to bring home and loves his new toothbrush and floss too. He literally skipped out of the office and has been asking when he can go back, haha! The hygenists and Dr B were very kind and courteous to me too. We hardly had to wait at all, and then the Dr Blen took the time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. My experience at Dr. B Micheal Blen's pediatric dentist was outstanding. Going to the dentist as a little child and now as a teen still can make people nervous. In my case as a teen it still makes me feel that way but the faculty at this dentist office made me feel right at home. The nurses were some of the most friendly, outgoing, and helpful nurses I've ever been around. These nurses didn't just do their job but did more by making me feel comfortable and answering any questions I had. Dr. Blen was wonderful as well doing a thorough check up on me, asking and answering any questions or concerns I had, and also being very friendly and outgoing. When I come to this dentist office I see that the people who work here do not just do their jobs but do them in a way that makes each child's experience there comfortable and enjoyable. Dr B and his staff are amazing. Our 3 year old happily went to the back dental area with Dr B and even laid in the dental chair so they could clean and check his teeth. Amazing! And I love that they texted us pictures while we were sitting in the waiting room. We absolutely love Dr B!

My daughter broke both of her upper front teeth right after the permanent teeth came in. She was devastated! Dr. B. was so kind to her and patient about explaining all that would need to be done to save the fragile roots. Even though this was extremely traumatic for her, she never developed a fear of the dentist's office through all of the visits that were required to get her teeth fixed. Thank you Dr. B!! Dr. B and his staff are AWESOME!! I have a 2.5 year old who has seen him four times (2 lap checks and 2 treatments) and every time they go out of their way to make her feel comfortable. She loves going! Highly recommend!!!
