Dr. Michael L. Blackwell

The doc came in for a max of 90 seconds and performed no physical evaluation, just ordered an MRI. I thought that was odd, but got the MRI and waited for a call back as instructed. It's been 5 weeks since the MRI results were sent to them and I've called 4 times to schedule an appointment for a follow up... still no call back.

Dr Blackwell and his staff were amazing to me! After going to the emergency room and getting no help, calling about 10 different offices in excruciating pain Dr. Blackwells staff jumped thru hoops to get me in THE SAME DAY!!! Every single office I tried to call couldn't get me in for over a week. He saw me and immediately prescribed me medicine for my knee since I couldn't even put pressure on my leg. Actually excited to hear back from him after I get my MRI results! Dr Blackwell and his staff were amazing to me! I was very happy with the Dr., staff and amount of time in office. Only my first visit so time will tell.

There were all kind of problems getting my records but the office staff was amazing. Dr. Blackwell is amazing!

Dr. Blackwell is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon! Has been my "go to" doc for well over 5 yrs!

Two and a half years ago I had corporal tunnel surgery. And left knee total replacement. A year and a half ago, right knee total replacement. Now I can walk with almost zero pain. I was able to stop taking pain medication around 4 months ago. I highly recommend Dr Blackwell.Tomball Texas

The lady at the front desk was amazing. It was wonderful to have a knowledgeable and polite person with manners to wait on the patients. She was also just as helpful on the phone. Dr. Blackwell's visit was very pleasant.

Moved from another state and immediately had an accident that needed ortho. Got in quick and had a very kind and helpful front desk staff getting all my info etc, not to long of a wait. The staff were prompt in checking me in. Dr. Blackwell addressed my medical problem well and gave me good information which let me make a good decision as to whether or not to re-do my past knee surgerys. His models of partial and full knee surgery helped me visualize what was done and what I would have to have done. He advised me to not do knee re-placement surgery as my symptoms were minor and he also advised me to continue with my current medications and to be sure to always take them as scheduled. Dr Blackwell fixed my left finger in 2019, and now my shoulder…he’s an amazing doctor he knows what he’s doing and you will be able to function 100% normal again. Highly recommend him for any broken bones

Dr Blackwell is a excellent orthopedic doctor he listens to your issues and he understand I went in with a swollen knee he got me straight to MRI without hesitation he realized that I torn my ACL 2 days later I was having surgery Thank you doctor Blackwell you are amazing

This was my first visit to Dr. Blackwells office. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Dr. Blackwell fully understand my hesitation for knee replacement surgery. He did a great job doing my cortisone injections and today I feel like a new woman. The only suggestion I would make is that they get a large BP cuff for their larger patients or take their BP on their forearm. I be scheduling my next visit soon. Office staff is great. They were very well orgnized and on top of everything. Ana, the office manager, made sure that all of my testing and scheduling was set up before I left the office and then followed through to make sure it was done. Very disappointed and dissatisfied about the way my husband's billing was handled. We were given a price for the surgery, once that payment was made and the insurance was billed, post surgery the clinic decided to bill us once more and wouldn't explain why we were billed an additional fee. We were referred to this office but we would not recommend this office at all for the dishonesty and the unprofessionalism shown towards us. The office manager was very unprofessional to deal with regarding the bill received; she was screaming at the assistant for suggesting a payment plan; thus, we took care of the payment without receiving any post op care instructions or been allowed to see Dr. Blackwell. We had our first appointment. The appointment was fine and the doctor was knowledgeable. It was a sports injury and he has treated it before. I was comfortable with the information he gave so far. We have to wait for the MRI results.

Dr. Blackwell was very receptive to my aches and pains and quickly set forth a plan to ease my back pain. Enjoyed my visit with very minimum wait time and an office of the friendliest staff. Glad to be a patient.

I was a there for the first time and I needed a steroid shot sure to the pain in hip. Talked to one of the ladies in the office who was supposed to of put in the order to my insurance company. Three weeks passed by I am still in pain. I have not heard from this office telling me the shot has been approved. I called the Dr. Blackwell's office and was told that they haven't gotten the approve yet. I felt that they were lieing to me because I got this same shot from another doctor the same day.
