His a great men everyone is nice in his office

Dr Blackwell delivered both of my girls heathy 7+lbs babies and he is by far the best gyn in this town so sad he is has retired from OB

Dr B is an amazing man with a great sense of humor. He listened to my gripes and complaints the entire time I was pregnant without making me feel bad about expressing my concerns. He answered all my questions and just made me feel at home. His staff is also amazing and they are great women

He is an awesome dr he delivered my third child and will be delivering my fourth and his staff is awesome

Rude, arrogant, judgmental and insensitive. Could not pay me to go back to his office. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional in all my life.

He has an excellent bedside manner and I am always amazed at how he recalls things I have told him about my life and family over the years. He is very good at what he does and even the labor nurses at the hospital says he is a good doctor. I never have had to wait long in the waiting room or examination room. I had a miscarriage before having my last child and had placenta previa with him. So I had to have a c section. He was very reassuring, made the experience as easy as it could be.

I lived in Wilkesboro from the end of 2006 - 2009. Dr. Blackwell was my physician for my first two boys. He and his entire staff are the most warmest caring people I have ever met. Since it was my first pregnancy I didn't know what to expect. If I was worried about something I could always call him. Even after hours or weekends. His service would take a message and I'd receive his call in minutes. He always knew exactly who I was and where I was in my pregnancy. Coming from big cities (NY & California) it was a very comforting feeling. In bigger cities you get to know your Dr but your one of many to them. Then when it's time to deliver you have a complete stranger! This was not the case here. Dr Blackwell was there to hear me sing in between contraction! He delivered my first son 7/07. For my second son we got the same five star treatment.
