Had a bunion removed in june 2022 here it is 8 months later still not healed completely and had to take part of my big toe off for what was supposed to be a easy bunion surgery

Don’t visit unless you don’t believe in Covid! I visited Dr. Bendarz’s office in Woodstock. During this recent up surge in Covid, the front office staff didn’t bother to wear masks. The back office didn’t wear them either until they’re ready to put patients in a room. And this is a very small office. Now I see why masks are not worn. I asked Dr. Bendarz about it and he told me it wasn’t necessary. He said you have a mask on don’t you? When I asked, what about protecting his patients? He replied aggressively, you have a choice to come here or not. I said I’m older and have a heart condition, which he actually replied, I don’t really believe in the virus! I was floored, and so upset my BP was 198/110. The doctor’s own mask was tettering on the edge of his nose with open spaces. He may be a decent dr., but in my opinion his behavior and attitude was deplorable, not respecting his patient’s safety. I quickly asked him to tell me about my injury and I was out of there

Dr. Bednarz did two surgeries on me -extensive Achilles repair on both heels 3 yrs apart. Both times he explained the only choice would be surgery. The first time I had been to 2 other podiatrist , they prescribing P. T., and very expensive shoe inserts (nothing was helping at all, total waste of $$$) . After I recovered from Dr. Bednarz surgery I’m so much better & greatful! Bednarz also done surgery on both my children with great results (for ingrown toenail, & plantar fasciitis) . He also saved my diabetic uncles leg! Bednarz is great with wound care. I’d never trust another podiatrist!

I have nothing but the Highest Praise for Doctor Bednarz. When I first saw Doctor Bednarz on 9 / 12/19. After 2 year's of pain and suffering and discomfort in my right foot and ankle. He review all notes from the Orthopedic Doctor I saw for 2 year's. Looked at all the x-rays. And assure me he could definitely straighten out my foot and ankle. And on 10 / 16th /19 did surgery on my right ankle. And here I am 2 weeks later back in my cowboy boots just like He said I would be. Without the pain and suffering and discomfort I had experience for 2 year's. And I for one will definitely recommend Him too anyone. He's definitely a outstanding Doctor who cares about his patients and does everything possible to improve their life. And his office staff and Nurse's are definitely very professional and Courtesy and Caring and devoted to seeing you receive excellent care and answer any questions you may have concerning any problems you may have. A big thank you to Doctor Bednarz and all his staff

Why does a foot dr take a swab of your mouth and send it off to test for drug toleration when he only perscribed a antibiotic for a few days? Then you never get the results testing was 1500.00 !!!!! Run from this place and the office help is incompetent never sent results after a dozen phone calls. Lastly 2 years later im still receiving bills from Lab Corp who keeps changing billing companies and rebills ! Finally a ingrown toe nail shouldnt with one visit and a follow up that lasted 3 min over 4000.00 !!

I had a bunion removed and had a very positive experience. Staff is exceptional and very willing to help at any level of care. Dr. Bednarz was exceptional also, I had my surgery 2 months ago and you can not even see a scar. He is a very compassionate doctor. I will HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bednarz to everyone.

My husband and myself had hammertoes tendon release last Friday. Very clean office, excellent staff and Doctor was great!

Don't walk away from this Dr. Bednarz practice in Woodstock, but RUN! Had seen this DPM two years ago. So I needed to see him again for a bottom of a toe wound. After canceling times and dates on me, I found another DPM. I was then told he was an incredibly gifted podiatry surgeon and wound care specialist. He canceled my appointment for a 5 minute visit that just needed a tube of Amerigel!!! So much for the wound care specialist. I guess ankle surgery pays more then a tube of Amerigel!!

great dr. went to a few others before him but he was the only one to solve my problem. any other foot problems i will for sure be back

Dr. Mike is very knowledgeable and experienced. I like his honesty and ability to convey the message about my issues. I guess mostly, I TRUST him.

Nightmare experience! Cancelled surgery without explaining why day before surgery. Has not done surgery at Piedmont but says hes on staff.
