I am a retired RN. My father was a physician, two sisters with masters in nursing and one sister is a hospital administrator. I grew up around many Doc's and medical professionals. DR. Beard is by far one of the best if not the best Internal Medicine Physicians I have even had the pleasure of trusting with my health care. Is he busy? Very. How many people would feel comfortable being seen by a Doc who didn't have many patients? Think about it. Is it about money. Question? How many reasonable people would spend 10 years getting the best education, that matters, and then proclaim "I am the lowest bidder." Are you kidding me? Some people are unreasonable or uneducated about how medicine works in this day and time. I thank God for Dr. Michael Beard and his staff. I know for a fact he works late and hard. My medical conditions are extremely hard to manage however, Dr. Beard's care plan for me is unmatched.

I’ve been seeing this doctor for several years and in my time of great need he has left me hanging and in a terrible situation. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I once liked him and believed he was listening to me. I should known back in August when I called and asked for a topical for pain on an abscess and his nurse called me back with a lidocaine prescription and informed me that Dr. Beard said to tell me there isn’t much he can do. I lost hope that day. I went to a dermatologist a few weeks later for that same abscess. Turns out there was so much more that could be done. He’s a terrible human being in my opinion. He allowed me to suffer because he had no idea how to treat hidradentitis suppurativa but sure told me he was confident he could treat it. Not all that helpful...To much to type

They care more about money than patients.

Love the doctors but most of the staff needs to be replaced. Rude and don’t know what the word efficient mean.

Dr Beard was very interested in what I had to say and listen to everything I said and put used to what I felt like I wanted to accomplish and so far our journey has been OK if something changes I’ll let you know

Outstanding doctor with a nurse practitioner (Leslie) that I have used for the last 10+ years. Very informative and always helpful when I call. I certainly recommend Dr. Beard and Leslie for a PCP.

I called to schedule a new patient appointment and the receptionist Bonnie was very rude. She told me even before asking what I needed to come in for that it would be mid til end of January until the doctor could see me. Then once I said ok that would be fine she said oh well you had an appointment made in 2017 that you didn’t show up for so I cant schedule you anyway. I said for one missed appointment ?? My husband and 2 daughters go here. Dr Beard and Leslie are fantastic. They do a lot of preventative medicine

Dr. Beard is highly intelligent and extremely knowledgeable. He is very caring and will always take the time to listen to you. He and his staff are always very friendly and you never have a long wait time. The office has a 24 hour turnaround time on prescriptions that do not require you to see the doctor so what others has said regarding that issue is incorrect. I would recommend Dr. Beard as a family doctor to anyone who is searching for a highly qualified physician.

I've been going to this clinic for about 3 1/2 years now and I've never had a bad experience until now .....I cannot seem to find out what the problem is with me I cannot get any one to call me back unless I call 3 & 4 times I feel as though they have not done the accurate testing necessary to diagnos my medical problem and/or they have not done the only test they did at a fast of time at all and now iIcannot seem to get the results from it . Also because of the severity ofpain I'm in I could have been given something for pain ....I am not a fan of pain pills and I do not take them very often so therefore a 5 mg Lortab would have been suffient ....or some equivalent ....I don't even know what they prescribe b/c Ive not had them prescribed to me that often in my life ...I think maybe twice ....regardless ....Everytime I've asked to get something with this particular problem ( it's been a month and a half )I've been ignored....that's not acceptable or appreciated ....and I will not tolerate this inhumane behavior again....I do not deserve this and this is a very real medical issue and no one deserves so have to endure such misery ....I've not even been able to work this entire time b/c of the severity of the pain.....and anyone that knows me ...knows I work very physically hard every day and I'm not scared of it , I'm not lazy or a person that is trying to get something for nothing . ....I pray that God will send the right people and diagnosis my way. When you go to the Drs office they are great. Leslie Chambers is awesome as is Dr beard. That being said, if you need a refill to a prescription without going going to the Dr it will never be easy. Not only that but they will send it to the wrong pharmacy and if you need to get it sent to the right one they won't fix the problem immediately it will take until the next day. I have never had as much trouble with prescriptions as I have had at this office. When you go to the Drs office they are great. Leslie Chambers is awesome as is Dr beard. I've been seeing Leslie chambers for months and this clinic has been nothing but a ray of sunshine. They have went out of their way to help me. People need to realize that going to a doctor one time and not being automatically cured is a normal thing. I love this place for the people that are in it.

Horrible. My wife goes there. She is prescribed medicine she must take all the time yet they make her run out constantly. She will call them a week ahead before she runs out and they will still not call it in until she has been out for several days. Serious medication too. My opinion is they only care about money. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!

Dr. Beard is fantastic - his staff is AWFUL. Prepare for rude, pushy and unfriendly! He also gets behind - but he truly cares and is so very thorough.

Most concerned about his patients than any dr. I have ever seen. Wish there were more like him. I don't have him personally but he takes care of my father. I wished I had the opportunity to have him as my primary care physician.

Iv been going here for years and the past few months have been horrible. The office staff is so rude here. I am not kidding you, they are so rude and mean to you. Its their job to refill prescriptions and help answer questions, schedule appointments when you ask for one but they always act like you are wasting their time and that you are so stupid. They only got one star because it's the lowest you can give them and still get to write a review. I had an appointment at 4 I was there at 3:45. I didn't get called back until 4:45, the staff is extremely unpleasant, and by 5:15 I was still sitting and waiting. I finally just left after deciding that I would rather be sick than spend anymore time there. When I left I advised the lady at the front desk that my appointment was at 4, it has been over an hour and I have seen no one not to mention the nurse was quite rude. Dr. Beard is a very nice Doctor. It's really to bad that a lot of his staff are very rude. Amy has always been nice and helpful. It takes them forever to fill prescriptions. The staff makes or breaks the company. I won't be back.
