I was AMAZED at how quickly a doctor could give me answers to problems I had dealt with for YEARS! He was professional, empathic, understanding, and hungry to find the answers, I needed. Him and his staff have become family, and thats a rare find these days. I strongly RECOMMEND anyone with issues to see this doctor. His knowledge and compassion is well worth it.

I was thrilled to work w/someone who had an expertise understanding of the health issues I've been facing for a very long time & the ability to actually know how to treat them. Two months later that all changed. I have NEVER been treated so unprofessionally & humiliated by any medical professional like I was by Dr B. He has an anger problem & gets impatient & annoyed easily. He lacks kindness, compassion & respect for others. When confronted w/his inappropriate behavior, he terminated my medical care & accused me of overusing office resources. (I took 20 min vs 15 to rinse off after my infrared saunas/I had someone HELP me during my Live O2 w/altitude contrast sessions.) There's no doubt in my mind Dr B uses some of the most advanced cutting-edge therapies out there. Yet the question remains, do you want to walk on eggshells not knowing what may trigger an episode of rage during your time under his care? How can you trust an individual who lacks self-control & who traumatizes another?

Dr. Bauerschmidt is a wealth of knowledge! He is the first doctor in Charleston who truly understood all my family was experiencing. My husband had EBV, my son horrible allergies. He is an MD who knows the functional side and has a lot of compassion too.

DR. BAUERSCHMIDT IS VERY KNOWLEDGEBLE. HE FOUND OUT MY PROBLEMS AND TOOK CARE OF IT AS A WHOLE, I HAVE NO COLESTEROL PROBLEM AND THYROID.HAS A GREAT ASSISTANT NAME SUSAN AND LEON. BUT LAURA IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AS HER PERSONALITY AND DRESS CODE IS HORRIBLE,NO COURTESY AND HARDLY EVERY LISTENS TO YOU JUST JUMPS INTO CONCLUSION.BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS MARVELOUS.
