Mr. Michael Lesley Baron

Dr. Baron is the best Doctor ever, however the front office are not welcoming and the nurses are bad really bad, some of the worst I have ever seen in a Doctor's office.

I have been going to Dr. Baron for over 10 years. I called in November 2021 for an appointment and was told he didn’t have anything available until August 2022. I decided to do a biometric screening instead because they were onsite at my job. Thursday, I requested a refill online through the patient portal for eye drops because I had pink eye, something Dr. Baron was well aware of throughout the years with him. I went to the eye doctor before and he told me it is from me rubbing my eyes without washing my hands. I didn’t have an eye condition. I work in the school system so it happened quite often. Needless to say, Dr. Baron wrote back, “No refills… go see an eye doctor.” You would have thought I asked for a narcotic and not drops. ???? I guess he doesn’t like that I didn’t make an appointment. I tried, but didn’t want to wait that long for my yearly physical. I will not be returning. He might as well retire because he really doesn’t care anymore. This office is horrible. The staff is rude and apparently incompetent. This is not a doctor's office that cares about healing.

Dr. Baron is a captured doctor who works for the benefit of Emory and not you. If you need a real Doctor don't waste your time or money here.

If I could give negative stars, I would. My mother has been under Dr. Barron's "care" for over 5 years now. She is in her late 60's and has been told she has several life threatening (if left untreated) diseases, but has never received a plan of care!! She was given informational dvd's from the 90's explaining what foods to avoid. Telling someone they are diabetic and that they have fatty liver and not giving them a plan of care is UNNACCEPTABLE to say the least. She is now suffering from some new issues and made an appointment to see the doctor and he cancelled her appointment last minute!!!! My mother WILL be finding a new doctor that actually cares about his/her patients. I would NOT recommend going to this practice if you care about your life or the lives of your family members. Dr Barron is great and deserves stars. I have been seeing him for 25+ years. However the current staff is horrendous. Last year I missed out on insurance funds because they didn’t file paperwork on time. Had a physical a month ago end they were to file paperwork again. Checked and it hasn’t been done. Today is the last day to file I’m getting the runaround. Will find another Dr Dr Barron is great and deserves stars. I have been seeing him for 25+ years. However the current staff is horrendous. Dr. Baron is fabulous! However, the wait time to see him is ridiculous. The office staff should be more thorough with patients coming in for a Physical. For example, if you as the staff know that I am here for blood work and I confirm, please don't have me wait in the room for an hour and a half when I explained to you that you should get the blood work so I don't have to wait additional time after seen by doctor. There is a different process to get blood work that no staff member informed me of until I had to come out of the waiting room to insist that someone take my blood after waiting so long. This is indeed poor customer service skills. This issue along with the wait time and difficulty scheduling an appt. all make for an undesirable experience. I have been seeing Dr. Baron for 20+ years. He is very personable and more importantly, he is very interested in his patients. I do not like his new facility and as such I have been hesitant to go into the office. The facility is not inviting and the staff are not customer friendly!

Dr. Baron is a great doctor. However his staff and the level of customer service they provide is not good. Also, appointment times are rarely honored. I made an appointment for 12pm and wasn't seen until 12:45. This has been a reoccurring observation with this practice.

I believe that Dr Baron is a great And well meaning physician. His transition to the Emory group however, has been disappointing to say the least.

Dr. Baron always takes the time to talk worth me, remembers who I am and what I need, and works with me on solutions. He's knowledgeable, approachable and caring.

I used to see Dr. Baron...but stopped becuz of him and his staff seemed to care about things other than the patients welfare. My wife still goes to him and I am at the moment trying to get a prescription filled for her that she has been calling about for a WEEK already! His staff is HORRIBLE!!

Best Doctor

Dr. Baron is thorough, empathetic, and effective. I have been a patient for more than 10 years and I have the utmost confidence and respect for him. I trust Dr. Baron to always be informed and to inform me and do what's best for me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Baron for many years, Excellent physician and outstanding staff. Wait times are short, Even as a walk in they will accommodate you the best they can

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Baron for over 10 years now. He has our complete trust and confidence. Dr. Baron is thorough, patient, and honest. There have been times when we went to specialists only to find that the advice and diagnosis from Dr. Baron are more effective. The staff at Dr. Baron's office is attentive, efficient, and caring. I would recommend Dr. Baron for any person who wants straight talk about their health and who wants a skilled practitioner in their corner.

Fantasstic

I was treated poorly by Dr. Baron, who argued with me, shut me up, ordered tests that have nothing to do with what is going on with my prescriptions etc, told me I am now getting the best care because of him and flounced out of the room. Egotistic, god mentality with no ability to listen to patients, particularly women have no place in my life.

Dr. Baron is a very good doctor, but ever since he joined the group the level of service has been HORRIBLE. The staff seems to be relatively uninterested in helping patients, they took several weeks to provide me with test results, they kept sending my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, they failed to update my insurance info, etc. I am looking for a new provider ... not because of Dr. Baron, but because of the negative experiences I have had during my last 3-4 visits. Dr Michael Baron is one of, if not the best, PC I have EVER had. I also have two special need individuals who I care for and I chose him to be their PC as well. I give this guy a 10 rating. Thanks doctor B.

Dr. Baron has been my primary care physician for years and he is a gem! He is thorough, listens attentively, is patient when answering questions, communicates in a clear and respectful manner, and includes me as a collaborative partner in my medical care and treatment. I trust him wholeheartedly as my doctor and with my medical care! Dr. Baron genuinely cares about his patients and is highly interested in providing stellar, quality medical care! Many kind thanks! My family and I used to see Dr. Baron from the time I was in elementary school until my late-teens, early twenties. I don't know why we left, but I found he was in the same medical group as the physician my husband and I had been to once or twice. I made an appointment with him for a recent issue I have been having. Not only did he remember me and my entire family (albeit 9 years later), but he remembered what sports I was involved in and the health issues I had so very long ago. I have never met a more caring and invested doctor. I am so glad that I have found him again and I feel so much comfort in knowing he really wants the best for my well-being and will listen and work with me. I have been a patient of Dr. Baron for many years and on the most recent visit he was rude, and visit was not pleasant at all. I know is time to get a new doctor. Wait time was not acceptable because no one was in the lobby but me and it still took while to be called in.
