Very nice office, helpful, friendly, efficient. Excellent care and follow up

Dr. Banks has no bed side manner at all. He borderline on being rude. His assistant who also had a major attitude ran the examination and told him what she thought was the problem. I certainly will not go back to his practice.

Dr Banks is a great doc. I recommend him. He took care of my parents and now me.

Was very condescending when I called in about a concern that my incision site may be infected. He couldn’t have cared less. I paid way to much money to be talked down to and dismissed the way he did. My experience with orthowest post surgery has not been good. It’s upsetting because before surgery they seemed to care.

Pleasant enough but not interested in healing or at least, maintaining. All he pushes is cortisone shots or surgery to replace. If he were an auto mechanic, he wouldn’t change the oil or fix a leak. He’d wait until your tire fell off and your radiator blew up, then he’d do excellent work putting you together again. Chop shop medicine. Edit: I went to another doctor who had me get an MRI. Saw Dr. Banks yesterday. He is by far the RUDEST physician I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Talked down to me. And obviously made assumptions about me that he was reacting to. My Mom and two sisters have had knee replacement. He had great bed side manner very friendly and very helpful. I was a family member and he kept me well informed of what was going on. I thank him for all that he has done for them. Bee Williams daughter of Cora sister of Connie and Norma

Turned away during an office visit. Will not see military members. Claimed paperwork was to much of a hassle. Refunded Co-pay and no charge for X-rays.

Had surgery on a hip replacement after 2 weeks refused to give pain meds ,he's not interested in follow up once he gets the big bucks for doing the surgery no interest what's so ever in patients it's been 3 months my hip is still swollen.

Total right hip replacement. Made me a new man.

This doctor does great work. I had very minimal discomfort, up and walking in a couple of days and back to work in 2 weeks! I would say excellent results for total right hip replacement. I don't know how anyone could give this Doctor less than a 5 star rating.

My mom was a nurse on the floor where Dr. Banks' patients recovered after hip and knee replacements, so she recommended him for my husband's surgery. Both surgeries went extremely well and my husband gets around so much better - completely life changing!

If you’re looking for a surgeon to replace a hip or knee, I’d recommend him, but if you’re still at the point where you’re still hoping to heal, maintain or slow down the process (arthritis), then run, walk or limp away as fast as you can. He’s rude, dismissive and not the least bit interested in helping. Don’t waste your time and money. Yes, we all know, it’s only his time that matters - the patient’s time doesn’t count, but still... :/

The whole experience in general was very disappointing. As others have mentioned, the staff and doctor were NOT friendly or personable. Key takeaways from my appointment: The radiologist entered the exam room and said "I need the patient to follow me", then disappeared before I could get off the exam table. By the time I get to the door (I'm hobbling around on a bad knee) she is no where to be seen in the hallway. I had to ask another staff member where the x-ray room was. Dr. Banks entered the exam room with the attitude that he was late for something more important. My questions and comments about my own health were treated with disdain and aloofness. Drain the knee, shot of cortisone, and he literally left the room without so much as a goodbye. Dr Banks leaves, and the nurse proceeds to lecture my wife about a comment she made about information we had found online, waving her finger back and forth in front of my wife's face like she was scolding a child! I'm not exaggerating.

Didn't introduce himself. Didn't ask me why I was there. Assumed that I was there for CTS, but was there for a another issue entirely. Wasted my money and time. Poor bedside manner. Now I know why the waiting room was empty. Wouldn't recommend him to my fish. Rude staff.

This office seemed seemed like a factory, churning patients in and out of the door as quickly as possible. Dr. Banks may be a very good doctor, but I prefer my doctors to exhibit some amount of interest in my medical situation. He acted like he was bored to death and couldn't wait to get me out of his office. I was a bit surprised when he criticized my original orthopedic doctor's choice of treatment for my hip issue. I think I will be looking for different doctor.

Dr. Banks has replaced my two knees and two hips, all my surgeries went well. Thanks to Dr. Banks I am walking pain free able to travel and resume normal activity.

Had knee replacement completely out of discomfort in just three weeks, 1 week using a walker, 2nd week a cain, 3 week no assistance needed and no pain. This is a all business professional, not much chit chat, but a great doctor and good outcomes!

Dr. Banks was extremely impatient & did not want to spend time with me or listen to anything I had to say. He didn't even freeze my knee before jamming the needle in it with the medicine!!

I would recommend Him to all my friends. I like his sense of humor. I said I wanted the Same treatment he would give his Mom. ?? And I feel he did good. He is not a coddler and tells you like it is.

Dr. Banks is rude and in this instance, borderline abusive. He did my 2nd knee replacement. I have a bakers cyst that ruptured & leaking for over 8 mo. causing great discomfort. In this visit he said there is nothing that can be done but decided at the last minute to see if he could drain the cyst. He had me turn around while standing and jammed the needle into the back of my knee. He could not get any fluid, he turned to me & said "told you so" and walked out of the room & did not return.

He did my knee surgery and I am pain free! All the follow up visits went well. Like his personality too.

Considerably RUDE. Very short.. saw him and his assistant roll tbeir eyes like i could not see thrm when i ASKED a simple question. Made me feel worthless and quite honestly degraded.
