A wonderful doctor did a knee replacement on both of my knees. Could not asked for any better treatment at all. His staff is superb

Dr. Azzoni and staff are pleasant enough however he seemed like he could care less that I was in pain. Instead telling me nothing was wrong with my knee and I should do wall squats. He spoke in medical jargon and didn't explain what he was talking about - he was more concerned with the note taker in the room than his patient. I will not return and instead going for a second opinion in Boston, where I should have gone in the first place.

Dr. Azzoni replaced both of knees and also cared for my broken foot. The service I receive at this office is super! From the reception, the PA and Dr. Azzoni all know their stuff and are professional and courteous. I would recommend this doctor to anyone looking for orthopedic care.

I had appointment with Dr. Toman on 3/19/2018 at 03:45 pm. I was instead given an appointment with a Physician’s Assistant. Patients should be asked prior to the scheduled appointment whether a PA can substitute for the doctor. I have been a patient with Dr. Azzoni for nearly 20 years; there is really no substitute to take his place. Needless to say, I was given the option to choose only two of my four medical problems to be assessed. I was given two cortisone shots, thankfully. Truth be told? I felt like I was a burden, and only 2 medical problems were allowed to be addressed. Then RUSHED OUT THE DOOR! The secretary asked me at the desk, would I need a follow up appointment? As I started to say, “Yes please.” The PA interrrupted and said,”No. She can call for another appointment if she needs one?!” I have always had follow up appointments at Dr. Azzoni’s instructions. Somewhere there is a disconnect in proper way to address patients. New staff should adhere to the proper means of administering care, as directed to by Dr. Azzoni who has a five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️rating! Dr. Azzoni performed total knee replacements on both of my knees. The first was when he was in his own practice, the second was after he became a part of Heywood Orthopedic Associates. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Azzoni's excellence as a surgeon. Truly remarkable. However, the questionable competence and laissez-faire attitude of the staff he is now surrounded by would prevent me from ever going back, or recommending him to anyone I know or care about.

My followup appt 2 wks after carpal tunnel surgery: his appts were double-booked, waiting time ridiculous. He brought 2 people into exam rm I'd never seen before & didn't introduce them. He removed my stitches without a word (the incision was much longer than I'd been told to expect). He didn't clean off the blood! Started to leave. I had to stop him to ask if it was healing ok, where I could wash it, & what about scheduling other wrist? Wish I had more space for the rest of this disaster.
