Mervet K Saleh

I have osteomyelitis, a severe infection in the pelvic bone along with four-inches of dead bone. Presently, there is dead bone grinding on dead bone and I cannot stand or walk without a walker. I am pending an eight-hour surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in a few weeks. I also, from the osteomyelitis, have an abscessed prostate with 80% dead tissue and an abscessed bladder with 100% dead tissue. I have personally seen the live video. Bits of tissue continuously shed and try to pass through the urethra. I also have a badly damaged lumbar from two broken backs, the vertebras continue to break down such that L3, the worse of the five, is no 20% bone mass only. If you can, imagine the pain that I have yet Megan, a nurse, will offer oxycodone 7.5mg 6/day only. Ironically, this is a reduction for 10mg before. As a Ph.D. I am fairly articulate, fairly intelligent yet when I try to discuss these three sources of pain and the pending eight-hour surgery during which a team of four surgeons will remove four inches of bone from the pelvic, remove the prostate and the bladder, and other tissues and organs, Megan refuses to listen to me. She repeatedly interrupts me, telling me that she thinks less is better. I have given the clinic a list of 10 doctors imploring she call the doctors to discuss my case since she does not seem to fully understand the case. I have offered my MRI's of the past two years, but she has no interest. I have asked her to contact the hospitals, here and at the Cleveland Clinic. She has done nothing. I have decided instead to have the Cleveland Clinic, Miami Valley, and Kettering Memorial call Megan to discuss the severity of the matter. I have asked often to meet with Dr. Saleh, I feel that perhaps my case is too complex for Megan but Megan will not make that appointment for me. By the way, what happened to the other, more qualified nurse, Margaret. I know by way of discussions with Margaret that she was highly qualified in professional pain management. I also noted the several positive remarks re Margaret, none for Megan. I have been with this clinic seven years. From the beginning, the clinic handled my case well. Been going to see Dr.Saleh for a long time, and yes it helps me with my pain, the good part is she also works with my other Doctors so I don't receive to many medication or the wrong medications. Thank you Dr. Saleh

I have been a patient of Dr Saleh's since 2007. I have been around as long as Jill in Billing. Lol I have seen the office staff come and go. There have been a couple that I could have rated one star at the highest, but all the others have been top rated with some 5 star ratings. When I found out that Oct 29, 2020, the office was permanently closing, I was shocked and disappointed. I have depended on this clinic and it's staff to keep my pain at a reasonable level so that I could function in my daily life and get a half decent amount of sleep at night. I know I haven't always agreed with their treatments but went along with them and they kept me functioning and kept my pain levels at bay with med assistance. I absolutely love Margaret and will miss her. Her patient care is always on point. Your never just a $ in a room to her. She makes you think she actually cares and understands the pain you are going through daily. That you aren't there for drugs. She knows her medical stuff. Jill has been great through the years. I have endured chronic pain for many years. At times I couldn’t sleep and got extremely depressed and exhausted from losing hope that this was going to be my life. Then I went to dr saleh and things got better. This practice has a comprehensive treatment plan to treat chronic pain. I am so grateful to this practice because I live a much better quality of life. Can any of her past patients let me know where they went for a new doctor? I'm having a very hard time trying to find a new pain management doctor!!

She was horrible. Very cold & rude. Went to get an injection and she grabbed my hand slapped it knowing I have terrible RA and have had multiple hand surgeries. I left in tears. Guess good thing she is closing up shop. I’d never recommend her.

I know Dr. Saleh to be a qualified pain specialist but she employs a nurse, Megan, of questionable qualifications. I receive pain relief from Dr. Saleh, none from Megan. She does not listen, interrupts often, talks down, and always in a hurry to end the session.

Dr Saleh has a nurse practitioner that wants to belittle you and make you feel like a drug head before she prescribes you pain medication she need to get rid of her. I give her Zero stars!

If you’re looking for a pill mill, don’t go to Dr. Saleh’s office She has rules and doesn’t tolerate games. I’ve been seeing her and her team for over 10 years now and I’ve not had any issues other than wait time. With that being said, I’m probably the most impatient person in the world so you may want to take that into consideration. I feel like anything over a 10-15 minute wait in the lobby is excessive and if I’m waiting more than 10 minutes in a room, again that’s excessive for me. Dr.Saleh and the entire staff are awesome! I have now had 4 visits and everyone has been very pleasant. I recommend this office for pain management needs. They make you feel like family here!

Great place to go for physical therapy and pain management , hard to find a place like this. Comming up on two year anniversary, if you're having problems with managing your pain like I did the'll help you check them out.

I have been a patient at OICPM since March 2012. Dr. Sale and her team have provided good, competent, and balanced care for the pain I live with day in and day out. Pain medication is only part of the treatment I receive. When you start there you are required to sign an agreement that affirms you will try all the treatments offered. I have been receiving pain management services from Dr.Saleh for several years. I thank God for caring Physicians like her and her staff. In this era of "opioid drama", it is increasingly difficult to have medical professionals take pain issues with the seriousness it deserves. Dr.Saleh has the experience and compassion to deal with these issues. I travel from out of state to continue to receive care from Dr.Saleh. Also, a big thank you to Brittany and Melodi who assist Dr.Saleh with procedures.

I receive procedures at this office. The staff is awesome and Dr.Saleh is the best!

The staff makes you feel at ease. They explain in detail what they are doing and when they do it. The ladies in the procedure room are really down to earth and always make me feel welcomed.

Dr.Saleh and her staff have helped to relieve my pain more than any other doctor. The biggest reason that I like her is that she looks for alternatives to medication. Last August, I underwent surgery to have a neurostimulator implanted into my low back. This sends electric impulses to my low back and legs, and feet. This really helps my pain and cuts back on the amount of medication that I need to take. What I like most about Dr.Saleh and her staff is that I always feel cared about.

The procedure staff is very professional and nice. After Dr.Saleh did my procedure I am almost pain free. They had me in and out in no time at all. Would recommend this office to anyone. A+ rating for this office!

Wouldn't let me see the Dr. until I urinated "enough" into a cup, although this was supposed to be a consultation. Drank 13 cups of water, had to go desperately but bathroom was in use. Used lobby loo, then gave up and left. Ridiculous!

Dr. Saleh should be avoided at all costs. I had her for pain management, referred by my back doctor, and all she did was recommend medication that didn't work or ended up making things worse. I only got to see her on the initial visit and after that I was released to her PA's each time, who didn't listen to my complaints and issues I was having, This office tries to push procedures that aren't needed and medication that has more side effects than benefits.

Excellent evaluation and care. They genuinely care about helping patients have a better quality of life.

I've been coming here for several years now and everyone is always very friendly. Dr.Saleh is an excellent doctor. I wouldn't trust anyone else treating me, especially with the cortisone injections. I don't even feel them! She is the best.

The experience here has been wonderful and the results of my treatment have given me relief for the first time in many years. They are always looking for ways to help me improve and feel better. My quality of life is so much better. The whole staff is wonderful from nursing staff, PA, NP, procedure team to front office and of course Dr.Saleh. Thank you so much for your help in making my life better and want to feel like doing more! Physical Therapy was awesome also - very enjoyable.

Referred to this office for pain injections in my back. Dr.Saleh and the entire staff were awesome. The injection procedure itself was quick and completely pain free. I was expecting multiple injections but after just one, my back pain is gone. I highly recommend.

I had pelvic mesh surgery in 2002 and have been in chronic pain for years after the surgery, The pain went into my hip and back area to the point that my quality of life was reduced. My days of chronic pain exhausted me. I got so depressed to where my life didn't matter. I went to Dr.Saleh and my life of pain started to diminish enough to where my quality of life got much better. Dr.Saleh is caring, attentive, and explains things thoroughly. I am so grateful for the care I am receiving here.

I have and will continue to recommend Dr.Saleh and the staff that work for her. They have been there for me and always work with my schedule. I feel that everyone on the team is great! Dr.Saleh has always taken excellent care of my injury and explains things well to me.

This person should not even be considered a Doctor. I was sent there by worker's comp and have been a patient here for a year and no one has ever examined me and the so called Doctor don't even see her own patients. All they ever did was got me strung out on pain meds. I have an attorney checking into any grounds I might have for a malpractice law suit..... She is a calm Woman's woman.On my second visit I saw Sarah, she was so nice and gentle She didn't have any problem with raising the dose. She put me on a new med That you only need one every 24hours.I was so excited, no more pills every 6hours. Thanks. I think I have found the right place for me. Dr. Very rude, not companionate. Refuses to listen to your ability to pay for certain medications that are too expensive and won't give you an alternative medication. Waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen, to be insulted verbally.

Dr.Saleh has been a life changer. I broke my back almost a year ago, no one bothered to help me with pain not only did Dr.Saleh do injections - she gave me a TENS Unit, pain cream, and some pain medications. Thanks to her, I have barely had to use narcotics to deal with pain. I came in today for a 30 day check up so impressed by the care I have received, I had to give Dr.Saleh a hug to thank her for giving me my life back.

Terrible management, Physician and PA (Sarah Ballard) do not give quality care, if you cant afford good insurance, they will look down on you and you will be the least of their concern. Only care about $. Shelly was the only good provider in the office and she left. Office has high turnover, so you never know who you are talking to or who you are seeing. You only see the doctor the first 2 visits. After that, your taken care of by the physician assistant and medical assistant. Go elsewhere.

I seem to always be early to my appointments and they always take me in. The Dr, PA, and staff all spend the time I need to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend this office.

Despite repeated requests to actually see the doctor to ask questions about his care, my father wasn't allowed to see her. Was treated rudely and as though he is a drug addict. She didn't care about managing pain, only wanted to make appointments to get paid. Difficult time obtaining records when he wanted to look for another PM doctor. When he did get his records, they had outright lies about his condition and care. In the survey, he only gave one star because there is no option for zero stars.

I have seen several pain management doctors over several years, and Dr. Saleh provide detail instructions on the procedures. Dr. Saleh and staff were professional and courteous, each time I had an appointment. I am glad TRICARE recommended her. My pain has showed improvement and I am able to walk and stand-upright. She walked in the exam room, bumped my knees with her hammer, told me I needed to get an MRI....I asked why and for what...she said so we know where to place the injections. I explained to her that I had already done injections and they didn't help and I would not take them again. She folded up my chart & walked out of the room while I was still talking to her. Wrote a nasty letter to my referring physician saying I didn't care about his medical license!! Would not recommend this doctor!

She is very rude and doesn't seem to care if you are in pain. I was treated like a drug addict, not a patient.
