I enjoy his knowledge, professionalism and demeanor.

Services was quick and reliable. Staff personal was friendly.

Very detail and answers questions thoroughly. Does not make me feel rushed or foolish for asking questions.

Met Dr. Pernell for first time Feb 1, 2023 and he impressed me as a doctor that knows what he is doing. Very nice personality and easy to talk to.

I was able to find out exactly what my problem was with my knee.Dr Parnell Jr is a really good doctor. Very thorough and get straight to the point. I haven't been a patient of his for a long time but I would recommend him to any and everybody.

Always a pleasure to come to the office. Everyone is so professional and very nice.

Dr. Parnell has been the doctor for our entire family for years. He is a brilliant doctor with an outstanding bedside manner which is not always easy to find these days! He always gets to the bottom of what our needs are and gets us quickly on the road to improvement without just trying to cover things up with pain meds! Very refreshening! What has always been so special to our family is how wonderful he always is with my special needs daughter Gia He enters the room without a white coat on, sits down next to her with a friendly greeting and always takes his time talking to her in a very soft caring voice as he moves toward her examination. His calming nature is such a perfect fit for Gia and before we know it she has allowed him to do his job which not many can do as she is quite a handful!! Having seen so many “white coats” in her lifetime she usually is very combative and ready to roll as soon as the doctor enters! We feel fortunate and blessed to have him monitoring all of our needs!

Dr. Parnell is knowledgeable and kind. I have never encountered such a great bed side manner. I can always depend on him to fix my problem!

Took me right on back to the room where I waited 30 minutes. Gave me a prescription & then sent a coupon, which was so nice of them!

Dr. Melvin Parnell, Jr. is the most patient, caring doctor I know in my experience. My most recent visit was a follow up for my multilevel cervical disk herniation and facet joint hypertrophy that was diagnosed from my MRI. In short, my neck is messed up. After breaking down and fully digesting the MRI analysis report, I had many questions about my cervical future. Dr. Parnell sat and intently listened to ALL of my questions. He did not rush out to his next appointment. When we finished I had a thorough understanding of my condition, my required therapy and treatment, and how best to deal with my condition going forward. He is the best orthopedic doctor in New Orleans.

Appointment on time, quick diagnosis, remedy & on my way back home in 40 minutes.

Everybody treats you like a patient very responsible and with respect. The nurse does her job very professionally with a smile. Ask how or are doing wants to know what the problem is. She always smiles when holding a conversation no matter what the problem. Dr. Parnell is the kind doctor everybody should want he a doctor that tells you like it is in a way that is very cheerful way because he laughs and it makes you feel good. Thanks to Dr Parnell! He knew just what to do to get rid of my hip pain.

Extremely knowledgeable , personal Dr. That goes out of his way to ensure you understand your treatment, surgery etc. And you will never feel rushed. My wife and I have been patients for 20 + yrs. And have sent several friends his way as well. And now that he's on the North Shore every Thursday is a Bonus !!

When I began working at a new hospital almost 20 years ago and needed a new ortho to follow up on a traumatic injury, I asked the OR staff their recommendations for an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Parnell was it.

My visits with Dr. Parnell is that of a miracle! I've been having pain in my left elbow for years & been diagnosed with everything except the right one. Dr. Parnell took an X-Ray & immediately informed me of my existing problem. God, now everything makes sense. Dr. Parnell is that Angel that everyone prays for. Dr. Parnell is so very knowledgeable and always makes sure he explains what he is going to do to address my chronic pain. I would not go to any other doctor because Dr. Parnell is outstanding.
