Dr. Melissa Scala Hill

Dr Hill is definitely a whole body physician. She has helped me numerous times over the years when others were unable to resolve my issues. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Went to Dr. Hill complaining about pain in my left big toe nail. She wasn’t sure what the problem was. Told me probably dry skin between the nail and skin. No X-ray. Told me to keep it lubricated. Four months later no relief so went to another podiatrist for second opinion. Did not mention to him that I had received a first opinion. First thing the latter podiatrist did was took X-rays. Prognosis bone spur on big toe bone. Go figure. I’m still trying to figure out why the first podiatrist did not at least take X-rays. Wasted copay and continued pain.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Hill. She listened to me carefully. Sh explained things very thoroughly and stopped often to ask if I had questions. After dealing with many doctors who rushed through appointments, Dr. Hill was a breath of fresh air.

I have been waiting for many months for my inserts and shoes. There seems to be no real communications between Dr. Hill's office and my Primary Care. Is it 4 months ++++++ and no results.

1) Excellent COVID-19 safety procedures and pleasant desk and other staff. 2) Very thorough baseline visit including detailed explanation of X-rays. 3) Dr. Hill listened to my current foot regimen and provided additional input to help with problems with my aging feet. 4) Did not try to immediately up-sell me on custom orthotics. Was very pleased with this visit and will follow further instructions for additional arch-building exercises.

We had a great experience for an ingrown toenail. I especially appreciated the ability to text her with any concerns as the site was healing.

It's been a long time since I have left a doctors office in tears. Dr. Hill was rude and short with me. I was obviously frustrated and she just walks out. No acknowledgement of my feelings. Once I get the results of my tests back I will have my records transferred to a doctor that will show some level of compassion and understanding. Honestly, I am still in shock about the way I was treated.

Dr Hill was to review my condition after a very successful treatment by Dr Sotela. Instead she repeated the same prior toxic treatment resulting in a deep wound which has now progressed to the point where I can barely walk. Avoid her at all costs! I will most likely have to sue!!

Dr. Hill is absolutely a gem! I went to her after visiting another Podiatrist in Cary who clearly didn't know what he was doing. Although, Dr. Hill had to repeat the procedure, she took care of me and explained everything she was doing. Her bedside manner is wonderful!

Would not recommend Dr. Hill. She does not spend time with the patient, she just makes her diagnosis, states the "treatment", walks away and send her assistant with the materials. I found out after seeing a special health care provider that it was the wrong diagnosis and the wrong treatment. Sadly I wasted my time and most importantly my condition got more aggravated.

Our family owes a great gratitude to Dr. Hill. She went way beyond the call of duty many, many times when caring for my brother. He was hospitalized for 3 months, in rehab over 6 months, and home health care over 3 months. Other doctors wanted to take off his foot, but she cared and cared for him, and although it took over a year, his foot did heal--minus only 1 toe! From being available to us 24/7, to being kind and caring, she is the best! She is our heroine, and we recommend her to all.
