My family has been under her care for over 20 years. She is the only person I trust with ENT concerns!!

It's been years and my nose is still permanently sore and disfigured. It's hard to wear glasses. The months of follow up appointments after the intial surgery were unbearably painful. I left each appointment with my eyelids full of fluid and unable to move for days. I asked my mother-in-law who has been a R.N. for 20 years to come to an appointment with me so she could see the swelling progress herself, and she advised I see a different surgeon immediately. I wished I had earlier. Surgery with her is one of the biggest regrets of my life. I still need additional surgeries to repair the damage she did. Wow, after being a patient of over 8 years, I called the office asking for the PA Jennifer to give me a call as i'd like to discuss a personal matter with her. I received a phone call back saying that 'jennifer gets paid for her time' so you can either make an appointment or she isn't talking to you. WOW- Terrible customer service. What happened to make ya'll treat people this way?! No Show. I waited over an hour in the examination room to see Dr. Melba F. Lewis. I finally had to leave to go to an important meeting. The office was quiet. I was the only one in the waiting room when I arrived so where was the doctor for that long of a time? I will say that the support staff that I encountered on my arrival was very good and seem caring. The audiologist was excellent as well. Still where was the doctor? When I left the examination room I didn't see any staff or reception to tell I was leaving. It was a bit of a ghost town. No Show. I waited over an hour in the examination room to see Dr. Melba F. Extremely caring, professional, and skilled. The BEST!

10/10 I would recommend this office. I had seen two other doctors before going to the office of Melba Lewis. They are very thorough and actually listed to what I had to say and didn’t dismiss anything as normal. I saw Jennifer Roffin, she was very detailed and explained everything that was happening. I was able to find a solution as to what is happening in my nose and come up with a plan. I would return and recommend her to everybody!! No Show. I waited over an hour in the examination room to see Dr. Melba F. Lewis. I finally had to leave to go to an important meeting. The office was quiet. I was the only one in the waiting room when I arrived so where was the doctor for that long of a time? I will say that the support staff that I encountered on my arrival was very good and seem caring. The audiologist was excellent as well. Still where was the doctor? I mainly saw Jennifer the PA. She was so knowledgeable . The first visit she talked to me for 35 minutes and explained to me everything in details. I ended having sinus surgery with Dr Lewis to clean everything out since I kept having sinus infections and headaches. I am four weeks post surgery and back to normal. Jennifer is a fantastic, friendly and professional PA, so glad I decided to go to them! I mainly saw Jennifer the PA. She was so knowledgeable . Hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. In a few words she is thorough, skilled, and communicative. Dr. Lewis has literally come to the rescue twice in my life, 13 years apart. In 2005 she recognized my recurring tonsillitis and sinusitis which others has dismissed as allergies. After surgery (2005) until now (2019) I’ve had 2 confirmed sinus infections compared to one a month before. More recently, in June 2018, I returned to Dr Lewis even after researching other doctors because I didn’t have time for the wait ...which some complain about (yeah it can take a while). After questioning she began to narrow down possible causes to a random hearing loss issue. It turns out that the latest issue was much more serious - an acoustic neuroma which is a type of brain tumor that sits on the hearing nerve. She called when she got the MRI results (at 9pm) and stayed in the phone with for an hour explaining my options. I'm truly thankful for Dr Lewis and her attentive and thorough care. Receptionist super rude especially when she heard I didn’t have medical insurance as I’m not from the US and only here on holiday. She didn’t even bother to assist me. Thanks for nothing!

Simply the BEST Doctor, and staff!!

There are several ways to rate people and the most important to me is the results that helped me with my sinus problems. Dr. Lewis did surgery on my sinuses over 10 years ago and I've not had a problem since. Her skill is nothing short of excellent. I have experienced long wait times but that's because she doesn't shy away from quality person to person service when you are with her. She takes her time and thinks of questions I don't know to ask. So it's worth the wait to get the quality service. As for the support staff, I've never had a rude look or treatment from any of them. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, right? So I would mostly pay attention to the rating regarding her surgical skill, personal attention and depth of knowledge regarding what ails you. She's tops with me! Went there for the first time last week and the service was excellent. THE Dr. was very thorough when coming up with a solution for treatment.

Dr. Melba Lewis is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable doctors I have seen. She was very thorough, spent a lot of time with me, explaining what was going on, and offered a thorough treatment plan. I had seen two doctors previously who were very arrogant and dismissive of my condition, while Dr. Lewis was so kind and loving, and had some answers for my questions. My son got surgery by Dr Lewis a few months ago, and I have been paying off his bill since. The surgery went well but Dr Lewis took twice as long to perform the surgery as it should have taken. Apparently there were no complications, just the doctor just takes a long time. Well, that would be fine except I had to pay extra because the anesthesiologst time costs extra. On top of that, the follow up appointments weren't included in the cost of surgery! Other surgeons include these appointments.

Probably never on time but once she is with you, she is there as long as you need her. Worth the wait, just plan on waiting.
