It never is pleasant when we are in physical pain; and every little thing seems like a mountain of problems. This must have been exactly how I felt when I wrote a poor review. But it would not be fair to just microscope little things and disregard good service and treatment when we get it. So I would like to formally retrieve my last review as well as thank Dr. Akhavan and his staff specially Silvia for giving me the utmost service and attention. I am so grateful to Dr Akhavan & staff. God Bless

I have been a patient of Dr. Akhavan's for 2 yrs now and I have had a great experience. It took me over 2 years to find a new pain specialist when my pain doctor retired. years. Dr. Akhavan listens to my complaints of continuing pain, I have had an injection that temporarily helped my foot, and the Dr. and Silva have battled Blue Shield Ca. He is board certified, takes my calls, Silva takes my calls, appts have been easy. Follow the rules and no problem. No one wanted me as a patient, he did
So disappointed with this office. They made me wait 7 weeks for an appointment (after being informed I'd just moved to the area and was in extreme pain & had been referred by my primary care doctor). They said to call back twice a week "in case there was a cancellation." Then, after waiting six weeks for my appointment, they told me that the procedure wouldn't be scheduled for another five weeks. Horrible customer service and no concern for their patients or the pain they're in. Shame on you!
