I have been a patient since 2013, I recently wrote a review rating one star. But today I received a call from Dr. Oza demanding me to change my review. She was unprofessional, talking loud and over me and it took us numerous attempt for her to listen.

Dr. Shubha Kollampare is outstanding! I will not see anyone in that office but her. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable, and caring. She explains fully the plan of action and thoroughly reviews the health records to ensure the right medications are prescribed. Highly recommend her.

***Posting for Deloris J. Jones My Physician but now my Friend Having RA has been a journey I have never traveled alone. Dr. Oza diagnosed me in my 40's and I am now 78, almost 79. Her knowledge and ability to know what medications my body needed and when it was time to make a change in those medications, get injections, or do PT have been spectacular. Dr. Oza cares if you are in pain and she knows how to treat you to make you better. Not only does Dr. Oza care, but she also teaches you how to manage your disease. Almost 40 years together and I have full use of my hands and do not use assistance to walk. My journey has not always been easy, but I have been blessed to have her as my physician and now my dear friend.

I’ve been going here for several years now and never had issues getting my biologic. My preach and my sons were renewed at March visit and we have yet to get them because insurance is still waiting on Dr Oza. I cannot get a return phone call. Looking for new rheumatologist.

This office is a joke. Dr. Colon will do nothing, tell you patient has to see Oza but Oza isn't accepting patients and Colon can do nothing on her own so my mother with a complicated case and many medications is passed from 'I don't know" to ask Dr. Oza to "Dr. Oza can't see you" They constantly cancel or reschedule your appointments or do not schedule you for the correction reason. It's a joke. Find your care elsewhere unless you love frustration and incompetency. This office is a joke. I have been going for a few months and this office blows my former out of the water. The care and time they put in is incredible, without a doubt my condition would have worsened if I stayed at my old rheumatologist. Awful. Blames patient for everything. Hits a nerve with a cortisone shot and blames me. I was a former smoker 8 years ago and that’s my problem. Liability. Not to mention she makes you wait a long time then complains she’s taking to long to help diagnose a patient.

I love Dr. Oza! However, today made me so mad, I'll be finding someone else. I called this morning to confirm my bone density test. They said yes, I had one at 10:00 AM. I then showed up and was informed that their technician did not show up. Hmmmm. If your tech didn't show, wouldn't it be prudent to let the appointments for the day know??? They didn't seem to be at all bothered of my inconvenience. It's a half an hour drive for me one way and I am so done with that place. If you cancel on them last minute, you get charged. AOTC has been my rheumatologists’ practice for four years. Of the three doctors and staff employed there, the only individual I have issues with is Dr. Meera Oza, the primary physician. Their staff and other doctors are very good, caring, and supportive. Dr. Oza, however, leaves much to be desired. First, each time I have had an appointment with her, the wait time has been 1 ½ to 3 hours, minimum. 2) Yesterday while waiting, four patients arrived, were seen, and left while I waited. 3) While I appreciate a physician who reviews my medications, I do Not appreciate a doctor who advises me to stop taking medication prescribed by another doctor. Imho, if she had a problem with my meds, contact the prescribing physician, consult with them, and my prescribing doctor should contact me with any changes. 4) Over the last four, wasted years, she has harangued me to become a Vega, even describing Veganism and what I would eat, several times, even after I explained to her that I was and will continue to be, a carnivore. I explained human teeth; evidence of our carnivorous nature is our teeth: we have biting/tearing/ripping incisors and canines. Yesterday was my final appointment at this practice. This doctor was recommended for my husband's rhuematological treatment. It was a terrible experience. The wait time to see this doctor is anywhere from one hour to three hours. The wait room itself is extremely dusty which sets my allergies off. The doctor doesn't listen to the patient. She just peddles her "diet" program and her supplements for you to buy. Thankfully we have found another doctor, one that actually listens, and are finally seeing improvements in my husband's quality of life. Do not go here! Dr. Oza knows her stuff. She’s a good doctor. Problem is, they have zero idea how to administratively manage the office. Long wait times, make you wait in hot parking lot based on junk science politicized by the US government and this doctor’s office makes patients suffer in hot, humid parking lot for 45-60 minutes past their appointment time. Zero respect for patients’ time. They blame their failure on COVID-19. This is the only doctor I’ve seen who is wrapped up in such disinformation and junk science about a virus with nearly 98% survival rate and lack of respect for patients. My interaction with the doctors and back office staff is always wonderful. Recently they've had a change in the front desk team and the person at the reception desk seems overwhelmed, and unhappy in her role. The reception desk at any doctor's office IS a dynamic and fast paced environment. I am put on hold every time I call and then after waiting on hold for some time the call goes from hold to VM. We are left standing at the front desk while the receptionist catches up on her desk work. I've been coming to this office for year's and have never had this experience. I don't think this has to do with the pandemic, the other team members are doing just fine. I think you might have a good person in the wrong role. I have been very satisfied with Dr. Oza. My immune system had tanked due to an injection of Prolia and I was in a very significant amount of pain almost all the time. She and her associate spent over an hour with me going over my history at a very unhurried pace so I felt as though they were listening to me and were prepared to do whatever could be done to evaluate my problem. I have not experienced a long wait time as others have and I hope I won't but if I do, I will try to remember the time that was taken with me at my appointment. I do feel Dr. Oza sees the person and does not just arbitrarily want to give medicine but seek out the root of the problem I was having.

My GP finally told me, just before we were moving to FL, "your last 2 blood tests were crazy; I don't know what to do with you; I want you to go see a Rheumatologist." Several weeks later I found myself sitting with Dr. Oza and her NP. I was amazed to hear their explanations of my body symptoms which led Dr. Oza to diagnose RA. However, after putting me on meds that required constant monitoring, and changing her diagnosis to Osteo Arthritis, I switched to Dr Roane in the same office. 2 years later he abruptly quit this office and Dr Oza ordered more meds. If l could give ZERO stars l would! I've never been to a more dysfunctional office. I've been there 4 visits & each visit was one problem or another. From extremely long wait times, to appt times screwed up, to they just don't seem to care that they screwed up. The lastest issue was Friday, l dropped off FMLA paperwork to Jennifer, who said they be ready on Monday & nothing else, while another office person was standing there & said nothing. Today, l'm called & told the FMLA paperwork is ready for pickup at a cost of $30. WHAT?!? She said that's office policy yet l wasn't told about it when l dropped it off. Nor is it posted. Oh well. I then called the office mgr., Nancy, who basically told me the same thing. Yet when l asked where this was posted or why l wasn't told when l dropped them off she couldn't give me an explanation. Again, oh well. So unless l pay l don't get my paperwork even when it's their error for not letting me know prior the cost. My PCP charges $25 & has it posted at check-in & check-out. As a new patient & current RN, I'd highly recommend you find another Rheumatologist because this office is totally dysfunctional & leaves you frustrated. If l could give ZERO stars l would! While at first i felt ok with Dr Oza, i quickly changed my mind after the second visit. I have had to call the office after hours due to side effects on medication & after leaving voicemails no one ever got back with me. I had to decide on my own what to do. I have been coming to your office for 18 yrs. I have tried to remain very patient with the wait times. But it is becoming ridiculous. Yesterday my appointment was for 9:10. I didn't get put into a room until after 10:00. When I left, I was told that a patient who had a 9:30 appt. was put in a room before me. I was there at 9:08 so why did this happen? I understand sometimes emergencies happen but this is every time I come in. And I hear others saying the same thing in the lobby about wait times.

Dr Oza is the best rheumatoidologist in the Northeast Florida area and her PA’s, Mary Ann and Pinky are awesome. At times I have had to wait to see Dr Oza but I have always understood that the times that has happened that she is with another patient. Dr Oza spends time with each patient and does not hurry when she is with them. Each patient receives her undivided attention and as much time as needed to address their concerns and problems. Dr Oza is very compationate of her patients. She is one of few who really cares and wants you to feel better. Sometimes there is a wait time. The reason for this is that no two patients are alike. My first visit to Dr. Oza was a long wait in the waiting room, but absolutely worth the wait. Dr. Oza has been aa blessing to my life. She properly diagnosed me, is always compassionate and attentive to my needs. I would never go to another Rheumatologist. She is truly amazing and fully cares about her payients.

Dr. Oza is very caring and looks at the person as a whole. In other words she treats her entire patient with respect, not like you're just a number, body part or disease. I recommend Dr. Meera Oza, she and her staff are all amazing.

Dr. Oza has been my doctor for 23 years. When I first came to Dr. Oza, I had been through debilitating pain. My headaches were horiible. I was voming and passing out. I had what I called stupid days where I could not think clearly. I was sent to a therapist because it was "all in my head" She concluded that it was a physical not mental problem and sent me to a neurologist. Nothing. I went to another dotor for a biopsy and had a small section of my vein above my ear removed. This vein leads over the right eyebrow. Nothing. During this time I went to Orange Park Medical Emergency room with HORRIBLE pain. From the time the doctor walked in the exam room, he accused me of just wanting drugs and nothing was wrong with me. I was quickly "discharged". My new primary doctor then sent me to Dr. Oza. I had inflamation in the vein above my right eyebrown. Blood was dripping through my vein not flowing! It is unusal for arthritis in the vein first then the joints. After massive dosages of Prednisone, I recovered. I realize that this is a lengthy review. Yes, you have to wait a while to see her. Take a book. One day you may need the extra time I did! Her staff is very friendly and quite competent. Please consider Dr. Oza when looking for a rheumatologist. If I could leave 0 stars I would the wait times here are ridiculous your appointment time is X time you show up early and still do not get seen til 2 hours after your appointment time. The doctor wants to to be on her religiously preferred diet. Is extremely hard to understand and doesn't listen to your concerns or issues prescibed me 7 medications and I am not getting better. I can't wait until I can find a new RA doctor

Dr Oza seems to be very skilled in her field but I would not recommend her as every time I visited her office she made several complaints about how much she was reimbursed from my insurance carrier. I also had a wait time of 2 to 4 hours in her waiting room each time I went before going back to see her where I waited another 30 to 45 min before being seen. I only once had to wait 4 hours the average is about 3. Also they collect your copy as soon as you sign in to prevent you from walking out.

I am a long-term patient of Dr. Oza and have received excellent care from both Dr. Oza and her staff. Dr. Oza has always shown a willingness to listen to my input and adjust my treatment plan if it made sense.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Oza and her staff of non-physician providers. She literally saved my life. I have been seeing her for over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable and compassionale. She does have an accent but I do not have any trouble understanding her. She is also very firm with her patients and blunt regarding diseases and what you need to do to control it. I ldefinitely appreciate her approach. The only negative i have is that the wait can be long, but for me she is worth it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meera Oza for over 10 years. She diagnosed me with RA when no one else had been able to figure out my problem. I am almost 70years old and have never seen a more dedicated, caring Doctor than Dr. Oza.

Dr. Oza has been my rheumatologist for over 10 years. I was going to an Orthopedic physician because my knees were both very swollen, painful, and it was hard to walk. He sent me to Dr. Oza who diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis and started me on medication and physical therapy immediately. Within a few weeks, my pain and swelling were gone. Over the years, as the R.A. has progressed, Dr. Oza has worked to find the right treatment to put the R.A. in remission.

First, Dr Oza is very good technically. She brought my Psoriatic Arthritis under control quickly and I've been stable for a year and a half, with a normal quality of life. It is for this reason ONLY that I would recommend her. That said, she is the most controlling doctor I have ever had to deal with. I would rather go to a dermatologist and have him freeze a few things off than endure a visit with Dr Oza herself. Frequency of visits required is way excessive. Fortunately, her staff is nice.

Every time I go there for an appointment, I can expect to be there for a few hours waiting for a 15-30 minutes evaluation. I once waited for roughly FOUR hours. Definitely have to clear your entire day if you have an appointment at this clinic.

No pain in backbone. kept asking me about my hands told her no pain or swelling. Asked me 3 times each time I said no problem. Wrote on portal my hands were swelling and painful SAID SHE WAS STRESSED OUT.Should have walked out then Sorry I went to her
