Dr. Raghavendra. Was my physician in Loyola's pain clinic. My first impression of him was great. The first day I met him he made me feel VERY comfortable. 1. He listened to all of my concerns. 2. I took my mother for an appointment with Dr Raghavendra today and was very well satisfied. He was very professional. He reviewed my moms x-rays discussed her current problems and suggested a way to treat her problem

This man is, in my highly educated and worldly eclectic experienced OPINION, based on a lifetime of suffering and representing others, including some excellent doctors, a disgrace. Of interest, ironically, was that his senior resident, who spent a great amount of time completing a most professional Hx, was everything that this doctor should have been, but wasn’t. For reasons never provided, he came into this first meeting with a personally sordid insulting agenda, with no room for discussion and laughed at my condition. I opine that he has embraced the much noted “God” complex that has plagued the insecure and/or ego driven docs, still today. He was utterly shocked when criticized face to face as if I had just purposely ran over a highway of baby Easter Bunnies. I continue to suffer repercussions from his “How dare you!” Position to my critical audacity. This opinion has suffered a well enmeshed Effort to humanly mitigate his onerous behavior, but there is sadly, none.

biggest waste of time and money. horrible experience with this dr. several years of chronic pain and i have tried everything and this doctor, after a sub par exam that i "will just have to cope with the pain the rest of my life just as you have to cope with anything else" WOW. i thought he was joking. No thank you, no hand shake, just a smirk and then walked out.

What a jerk. I drove 50 miles, missed 3 hours of work, paid $10 gas, $12 in toll,$25 co-pay. And my medications are out tmrw, he refused to fill them. My insurance and primary doc sent me to this Loyola. I’ve been at Presence Resurrection MC for 1.5 years but my insurance no longer accepts them which is why I had to find a new pain mgmt doc. I told him that. He said he does epidurals only. I told doctor I had 3,they did nothing only only cost thousands. I’m doing medicine mgmt but he refused.

Absolutely one of the worst pain specialist I've seen. I have 2 herniated discs in my thoracic spine. Along with spinal stenosis. And rheumatoid arthritis. After looking at my MRI he told me it was one of the worst he's seen. He refuse any medication and also told me nerve blocking was too risky .....sent home with no help. Unfortunately I had to see him because he was one of the only doctors to take my insurance. If possible do not go to this doctor!!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I got rear ended in a car accident 2 weeks after having a child. 1 year later I’m still in major pain and am referred to him. He and the practitioner in the room with him are both asking me unprofessional questions and insinuating that I’m only here because I’m suing the insurance company of the guy that hit me, not because my MRI shows DDD. So unprofessional & inconsiderate. Wrote me a BS script for a machine & completely ignored my needs as he stood in the doorway

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DR I'VE EVER SEEN! HE WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE TATTOO ON MY LOWER BACK THAN MY PAIN ITSELF. HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BACK, EVEN THOUGH I'D BEEN DIAGNOSED BY 2 OTHER DRS WITH MILD SCOLIOSIS. I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY'S DOG TO HIM

Diagnosed with Cystinuria and have been having chronic pain in left kidney area. At the first visit he spoke positively and gave us hope. Prescribed 900mg gabapentin. Had to stop the gabapentin after a few weeks because of difficulty urinating/severe pain when urinating. At the second visit, was pretty much patted on the head and told to get more exercise and then he just LEFT. Went home feeling betrayed and abandoned. How is this pain management?

I had Dr. Nockles refer me to Dr. Meda Raghavendra for pain management before I underwent back surgery and Dr. Meda Rghavendra went again Dr. Nockes at Loyola and said I do not need pain treatment because I did not have radiculapathy that Dr. Nockles said I had. I have suffered immensely in pain and have not been able to get anther referral in over 8 months to another doctor for help! DR. Meda Raghavendra was an Unbelievable inhumane experience! is he a real doctor?
