Very friendly and professional..

Dr. Maya Paulose was very kind and able to explain any conditions of my teeth well to me. Her office was also close to UConn's campus. However, I ended up returning to my dentist at home because I thought that her office and equipment were much more outdated in comparison to other dentists I've been to. For example, the tools used to scrape tartar or plaque from the teeth hurt much more, since the hygienist had to physically scrape it from the teeth. In comparison, my dentist at home uses an electric version that is much more gentle. The x-ray equipment was also outdated. Goes out of the way to provide the best patient education and service at a very reasonable price.

Most dentists will just tell you you have a cavity and you need to come back for a filling. Dr Paulose will work with you and try to get to the root(no pun intended) of your tooth problems, her exams are always very thorough and your appointment never feels rushed. Not to mention her staff are very warm and welcoming. I disagree with the previous reviewer stating the xray equipment is outdated; it's all digital which is the most current you can get. Dr. Paulose is an amazing and knowledgeable dentist, with a caring, skilled and professional staff. She and her staff are gentle, thorough and caring. I love the dental work she has done on me. Cleanings always felt great and I am impressed with how she keeps up with the latest in her field and guides me with my oral health. She is experienced, I trust her and though I live a little farther now, will continue go to her to get the best care.
