I don’t usually post negative reviews. However, in this case I feel the need to speak out. About 6 months ago I scheduled my bi-yearly appointment with Dr.Parrot. I was given a call in December to let me know it had been cancelled. Now scheduling anything six months in advance would run the risk of schedule conflicts. Unfortunately, I was expecting it this year based on my experience over the last couple years. Luckily, rescheduling my January appointment was not too inconvenient and was rescheduled for February. I also went ahead and had my blood work done in preparation for the February appointment. Late Tuesday afternoon, I was called and told my appointment he next day was cancelled AGAIN because the doctor had “forgotten about a meeting”. This time, the cancellation proved to be very inconvenient . When I called to reschedule, the next available appointment would be another month at the minimum. I was never given an apology or offered any type of help or even empathy, even after explaining my situation. It’s amazing that I am expected to understand their circumstances while mine are ignored. I find it rude and unprofessional that some professions demonstrate that their time is more important than their client’s. I don’t usually post negative reviews. Great doctor I highly recommend him

Doesn't listen to his patients when they tell him they're not feeling well or right. Has a major God complex. My mom likes take me everywhere with her as a witness to every doctor's appointment. She told him that she wasn't well and that she was having trouble breathing and had an annoying cough. He never even thought that it might have been congestive heart failure. Did not ask her if she was on any new medications, did not order an EKG to find out why her blood pressure was so high along with her pulse, and did not seem to care about how a person's health really matters since she is 71 years old and that's when you can stop caring about them. Since he refused to treat her, she went to the cardiologist and had an EKG done which showed mild tachycardia. Then she requested a chest x-ray to make sure nothing changed in her lungs since she has a nodule in her lungs. Wow if only he would have paid more attention to her then letting the God complex take over. He needs to start taking care of his patients no matter what age they are because when he gets 71 years old his doctor won't take care of him because he's too old and he doesn't deserve a life. Dr. Parrott has been my personal physician for many years now. As busy as he is, he always takes the time with me necessary to handle my health issues and concerns.

Dr Parrott is a down to earth doctor. He talks to you in language you can understand. He leaves no stone unturned and genuinely cares for you. I’ve been seeing Dr Parrott for 13 years. Can’t imagine him not being my doctor. If you want great care from a fantastic doctor, call Dr Parrott. Also want to give kudos to his nurse, Tanya. Behind every great Doctor is an fantastic nurse. Dr. Parrott is one of the most caring, intelligent, well trained physicians I have ever known. I say that as a physician and as his patient.

Dr Maxwell Parrott awesome Doctor. He also has an amazing Nurse. They are very professional, friendly, helpful and he doesn't rush me out of the office. Dr Parrott comes into the room and sits to discuss issues I'm having and doesn't leave till both he and I are done talking. He's never rushed me or made me feel I was taking up too much of his time whatsoever and his nurse is a sweetheart and always returns my calls as soon as she can.
