Dr. Mauricio Jose Castellon

I went to Dr Castellon in Jan of 2019 for breast reconstruction. It should have been a 2 operation and finish in 6 months but took him 6 operations and almost 2 years. Infections were the first problems (which he didn’t look at cultures for 4 days so I was on the wrong antibiotic for those extra days). Gave me a hematoma (which an infectious disease Dr had to tell me about and Castellon said he knew I had already). He popped an expander. Put an additional scar on me that he didn’t tell me he was going to put so I’m cut across and under both breasts. Off center cleavage which he said he would fix but didn’t. Then after the final surgery when I questioned him on what to expect, he literally cussed me out. Told me I was turning into a cosmetic [RS bleep] and I need to stop busting his [RS bleep] balls. Talk about surprised! Not even two days out of surgery and to be treated like this?! He has issues. Don’t bother seeing this Dr.

From start to finish I had a FABULOUS experience. Dr Castellon took my disaster and made it better than I could have ever imagined. He is truly an artist and genuinely cared about my happiness! All these poor reviews have to be from people who don't understand simple directions and have unrealistic expectations. Dr Castellon is honest and truly cares about patient satisfaction. His whole staff is caring, helpful and supportive along the way and after. I will definitely return to him before even thinking twice about another PS. Brevard county is lucky to have him! Very caring Dr and staff. Recommend highly.

After having a double mastectomy in April of 2019, Dr. Castellon performed reconstruction. After 2 months of not healing on one side, he did a debridement. He had the culture results for 4 days before he finally put me on the right antibiotics. Then I admitted myself to the hospital for 5 days and was on IV antibiotics. He took the expander out 2 weeks later. I was bruised so badly and had a hematoma. I had to ask for physical therapy because of all the scar tissue. New expander was put in and then they popped it. I had it changed out. What should have taken a bout 6 months (DCIS) took over a 1 1/2 years. Now I am cut almost all the way across both breasts. Cleavage is off center as well. At the final surgery he cut under the other breast without letting me know. Now cuts are under both breasts too. When I questioned him about this and what it will turn out looking like, he literally cussed me out and told me that I should be thanking him for saving me from breast cancer and that I was turning into a cosmetic B$%#h. He told me that he is the best. Very Narcissistic! Terrible!!!

A tremendous surgeon! He performed breast reconstruction surgery on me after having breast cancer. I’m thrilled with the results. He was caring and compassionate before and after surgery. I appreciate him and his staff. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Castellon is a professional and knowledgeable plastic surgeon in the Melbourne, FL area. He has excellent bed-side manners and takes the time to understand what you are looking to achieve. I am pleased with my results and I highly recommend him!

I had two procedures done by Dr Castallon and they both went great, the whole office was a fun experience, I would definitely recommend him as a very skilled surgeon.

In 2010 I decided to have a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. I was referred to Dr. Castellon by a good friend. I found a very warm and caring staff, from the receptionist to Dr. Castellon himself. He gave advice but listened to my ideas and worked with me to come to the final decisions. A couple of years ago I found out that I had skin cancer on my face above my lip. I was terribly upset and concerned that I would have a huge scar or be missing a piece on my lip. Dr. Castellon was my first thought as my dermatologist was telling me that I would need surgery to remove this as it could be very deep. I contacted his office and set up the appointment. Dr. Castellon was truly kind and assured me that he could due a minimal scar and would make sure that I was free of the cancerous spot. He was amazing and you can barely see where it was. I kept my lip and my smile. I would send anyone that needs fillers, breasts, a tuck and even a major thing like skin cancer removal to Dr. Castellon.

I met Dr Castillion over 4 months ago after I was recommended by my PCP for breast reduction surgery. When I first met him I was very impressed by his caring and gentle bedside manor. He was very knowledgeable and spent time answering all of my questions. His office staff are all Professional and friendly as well as caring and helpful and made me feel comfortable every time I came in to his office. My surgery was very successful and I am extremely pleased with my results. I highly recommend Dr Castellon and will definitely go back for any future procedures.

I first went to Dr. Castellon’s office for a simple consultation about a breast reduction to see what my options were for surgery; however, when I left the office, I had my surgery scheduled and my first deposit was made! I was worried with me being a college student that we might not be able to link up our schedules in order for me to have the surgery; but Dr. Castellon’s staff is SO AMAZING that we were able to find a time that fit into my busy class schedule. He is very understanding that we all have separate lives outside of the procedures, and he is willing to work with people in order to find the best time that suits them! Choosing Castellon Surgery Center was truly a blessing! When I met with Dr. Castellon, we discussed reasonable expectations for my transformation to remove excessive skin from weight loss. He explained that my surgeries would be in three stages: Surgery 1 - abdominoplasty, liposuction to flanks, repair old scarring from a prior surgery Surgery 2 - lower body lift, liposuction to back, brachioplasty Surgery 3 - vertical thigh lift. All my concerns and questions were discussed prior to each surgery regarding expectations, pain management, and outcome. I had minimal complications after all three of the surgeries and my recovery challenges were true as discussed. Post-op anytime I had a concern or question Castellon Plastic Surgery Center made time for me – even on short notice. As for Dr. Castellon’s hand-picked staff; Barbra, Kathy, Sherrel, Ruthie, Janessa, and Amanda, they are respectful, kind-hearted, and sincere (and fun!). Everyone was marvelous and I am thrilled with results!

Our 16-year-old daughter had been very self-conscience of the shape of her nose. She never wanted a picture showing her profile. Dr. Castellon performed Rhinoplasty in July. Dr. Castellon did an amazing job! . She has been very happy with the results. Her self esteem has grown. People comment on how beautiful she looks. The staff are all friendly and professional. The wait time is about 10 minutes.

I never had surgery. My sister, a breast cancer survivor, insisted on Dr.Mauricio Castellon because of his expertise as a plastic surgeon, and her own personal experience. He listens to your concerns, answers your questions, and explicitly explains your options so that you are comfortable. His bedside manner on the day of the surgery is calming and impeccable. He has a true calming effect that makes you feel secure knowing you are in his care. I appreciate his proactive follow up and compassionate care, which extends to his office staff. I can’t say enough about their continued support. My results are amazing and astounding! I highly recommend Dr. Castellon!

One of my breast implants ruptured and I was very nervous about having to redo my breast augmentation. It was very painful the first time. I really was considering having them removed. I was 29 when I had them done. I thought I’m 45 almost 50, do I really care about how I look? It took me a long time to decide. I knew I wanted to go with Dr. Castellon. He came recommended by my primary care physician, OBGYN along with others who know of him. When I had gone for my annual mammograms they would ask who I plan to have redo my implants. I’d tell them Dr Castellon. They would tell me they have seen his work, their really nice results. It took me 5 years to decide. I am so happy I did it again!! I feel so beautiful! 45 is just a number. Dr Castellon and his staff were so supportive of my concerns and needs. I look forward to continuing my cosmetic needs as I age with Dr. Castellon and Staff!

I just had an extended tummy tuck and flank liposuction by Dr Castellon, due to a 105 pound weight loss. He has done a phenomenal job. He has been attentive and always available. He is very good at explaining and taking the time to make you feel at ease. His office staff have been wonderful and gracious. He got back to me after surgery both times we called the answering service in less than 15 minutes, getting to speak directly to him. I was extremely nervous to get this surgery since it was a lot of skin removal and a long time under anesthesia, 3 hours, but he has exceeded my expectations. This surgery isn’t a walk in the park, it takes a lot out of you, but I am so grateful for the compassion that Dr Castellon and his office have shown me, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do this type of surgery. He is a gifted surgeon.

Dr. Castellon is WONDERFUL! I have been a client of his since 2007. I trust him implicitly and you can too!! On 4/26/18, I had the FACEtite procedure performed by Dr. Castellon with AMAZING results! Folks, this procedure is a game changer! My lower jawline and neck are firmer and tighter, mimicking the way I looked in my late 30's, early 40's. He is compassionate, caring and kind, his bedside manner is excellent!! His staff is extremely patient and helpful, always going the extra mile!!

Dr. Castellon and the all the ladies in the office were awesome. I recently had the votiva vaginal rejuvenation procedure performed. It was virtually painless, very tolerable. They recommend 3 days without penetration, no downtime or recovery involved. The before and immediately after pictures were amazingly drastic in appearance. My vagina literally looks like it did 20 years ago! Internally everything feels much tighter. Votiva intensified my orgasms. Highly recommend this procdure.

I'm glad I have the opportunity to thank Dr. Castellon for the fantastic job he did on my breast reduction. I was pleasantly surprised that I had very little pain. Everyone in the office was so friendly that I felt like we were old friends. They were only a phone call away if I had any questions. I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Castellon performed abdominoplasty and liposuction on me and I am very pleased with the results. Before deciding on the surgery I did lots of research and went back to Dr Castellon several times with questions. He patiently answered all of my questions and ensured me that my health was his number one priority. I highly recommend Dr Castellon and his staff. Dr. Castellon performed reconstructive surgery on my breast after a bi-lateral mastectomy. All I have to say is that he is WONDERFUL. He is caring, kind, and his staff is the same. I can't say enough good things about him. Dr. Castellon makes one feel comfortable and like you are his only patient. He gave me information about cancer that I didn't not get from my cancer surgeon. I recommend him to everyone.

Recently I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction.... My experience with Dr Castellon and his staff has been fantastic... They are all very kind and caring....best of all... My breasts look great... With the extensive surgery that I did have... It's amazing how great the reconstruction turned out. Everything went exactly as it was planned, I would highly recommend anyone having this type of surgery to see Dr Castellon, you will not be disappointed!

I had very asymmetrical breasts and got implants to even them out. After 15 years I needed new ones. I went to Castellon with my issue. He took out two different size implants and put in two of the same size. I paid over $8,000.00 for this quack to make me asymmetrical again!!! When I tried to get him to fix his mistake, he stopped answering my calls. I wanted a refund so I could have a reputable doctor fix his mistake and he refused that too. BEWARE and research him first. I'm not alone.

This doctor talks a good game and does not back it up. He does incredibly terrible work and then walks away. Of course he keeps the money. If you are looking to have plastic surgery done, keep looking. This is not who you want to go with.

Went in for breast implants... Now have 2 completely different size breasts with nipples pointing in opposite directions. He walked away. Kept the money. I now look like a freak.

He is the best at what he does. . And his bedside manner just tops it off. Dr Castellon takes care of his patients and his skill is unsurpassed.

I am so excited about the results of my breast reduction and lift. I look 20 years younger. Dr. Castellon is amazing! His staff are amazing as well. I have never been to an office that is so loving and caring. This has been consistent from the first time I called to speak to them and has continued through all my check up appointments.
