I was referred to Dr Elihu by an urgent care- I was incredibly scared, hesitant and in pain. I was given 3 Dr referrals and so happy I was seen by Dr Elihu- he took amazing care of me and referred me to other physicians as I had none. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He has a wonderful approach with his patients and a calming aura. Top this off with his warm, professional staff, whenever I have medical issues or questions my daughter always says, ' Ask Dr. Elihu.' I even asked him if he would be my Doctor for life!!! My First visit to Dr Elihu, was for a a consultation for both Endoscopy/Colonoscopy. He was very affirmative, asked questions , listened to any concerns I may have had , walked me through the process. Its hard to find a office were the Doctor and staff make you feel valued as a patient,Everyone at Dr Elihu's office takes the time, making sure all your questions and concerns, were met. The Endoscopy/Colonoscopy was very detailed. On my Follow up visit Dr Elihu, took time explaining everything in detail. He gets to know your lifestyle so that he can design a comprehensive , preventative treatment plan. I've been a patient of Dr. Elihu for about 4 yrs. During this time, I've always had excellent experiences & care with him. On more than one occasion he has gone out of his way to make sure I received the help I needed. I feel he is an exemplary doctor in whom I have total confidence. I find him very easy to talk with & appreciate that he always takes time to answer all my questions. At the end of each appt. he always asks me if there's anything else I want to ask him, never rushing me. Dr. Elihu takes excellent care of my brother, who is a special needs patient, and manages to communicate with him on his level without ever talking down to him. My brother is on Medicare with a medigap policy and they accepted that without any problems, so we had no issues whatsoever with unexpected bills when my brother had his colonoscopy, as it was all covered. The surgicenter was state of the art and the staff was the best I've ever encountered. So caring. I used to manage a surgeon's office in Beverly Hills, so I know what to look for. During the procedure, Dr. Elihu removed a very large polyp which could have turned to cancer, so we are grateful to him for keeping my brother healthy. Thank you, Dr. Elihu! This Dr is all about MONEY and the have no hesitation to lie and deceive patients to MILK them for money as much as they can one way or another 1-What he recomends you including colonascopy , endoscopy and they ONLY give you A choice to do it . Guess what the place they tell you to get done it is owned BY MR :DR ELIHU . This is a conflict of interest . 2- After fasting over 24 hours to get the procedure done, Right before you go in to the room they told me they are a member of the insurance net work so guess what You HAVE TO PAY before going in . i had no choice but PAY . 3- Later on i came to know they billed the insurance and what insurance did not pay the balance now i have to PAY . This is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT . How many people out there are scammed . I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer from 8 months ago. He recommended a colonoscopy and endoscopy and scheduled at a surgery center. I later learned that he co-owns the surgery center and that they don't accept the insurance that the doctor accepts, so I had to pay cash for that. Now receiving bills from them... absolutely ridiculous. Later, I learned that I shouldn't have even had a colonoscopy (after speaking with several other doctors). Horrible.
