Treated me very poorly because I said the words "I'm in pain". I finally got proper medical care by a listening NP who sent me to rheumatology. Ankylosing spondylitis, lupus and psoriatic arthritis which wouldn't be as severe as they are if I had proper care and early diagnosis'. Thanks for the delay.

Set up an appointment months ago for what was diagnosed by the neurologist Dr. Gonzales as "Chronic Pain Syndrome" "Muscle Spasms" and "Paresthesia". This means that I am pretty much always in pain! I had originally set the appointment up, per Dr. Mead's request, to switch from one narcotic, to different one, because the one I had barely work. When I got to my appointment, everything was going smooth, until the end. She wouldn't switch my pain meds or even give me a refill for my old ones. I am also supposed to be on cholesterol and thyroid medications, but no refills. I honestly do not know what to do anymore. Marijuana is getting too costly for me, down right expensive, and I have insurance for medications. So I guess I am supposed to be in pain and broke as a joke, obviously that's what I am to this doctor, a joke. Dr. Mead is highly opinionated in and of herself, and is not a very good choice for anyone, especially if they have chronic pain. I am getting sick of these opinionated doctors, thinking they know everything. I rarely even pop my pain pill, unless I am hurting real bad. I feel as though this doctor needs a wake up call. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Set up an appointment months ago for what was diagnosed by the neurologist Dr. Gonzales as "Chronic Pain Syndrome" "Muscle Spasms" and "Paresthesia". This means that I am pretty much always in pain!
