Mrs. Maureen Gallagher

Doctor Gallagher was my primary care doctor and provided me with outstanding care for 17 years. I wish her all the best in her retirement.

Dr. Gallagher has been my primarily care doctor for over 16 years. I have a rather complicated medical history, but I always trusted Dr. Gallagher to be thorough and to explore treatment options that were in my best interest. She was non-judgmental, compassionate and understanding when I didn't always do what I what I was supposed to to. I'll miss Dr. Gallagher terribly, but wish her a long, healthy and happy retirement.

Lovely person, non-judgmental or patronizing. Clearly explains procedures, medications, test rationales. Covers test results in a conversational tone. Office staff is the most accommodating I have ever seen. Very well run practice. I will stay with the practice even after Dr. Gallagher's retirement.

Every year, I receive my annual physical from Dr Gallagher. Not only is she very thorough but is a kind and caring physician. She takes such good care of me. Sometimes, if I need additional care during the year, she or one of the PA’s, in a very timely fashion, see me in the office quickly and if I need to go to a specialist, the ladies at the check out desk are very efficient in obtaining appointments as quickly as possible. These ladies are very kind and helpful. I am extremely happy with the care I receive at Hampton Internal Medicine!

Dr Gallagher will be surely missed. I do understand her retirement plan and spending more time with family.

Always thorough and always ready with test labs, results and recommendations. I feel very satisfied that I am getting the very best care. Dr Gallagher knows her business and it shows. Lovely bedside manner. Highly recommend!

My father was a patient of Dr. Gallagher and died of a heart attack in 2018. She cowardly called his cause of death alcoholism although he had been sober for over 2 years. While the alcoholism may have caused the heart condition, she missed it. Her lack of empathy for him and our family was a great cause of pain during a difficult time. She also failed to update her staff on his passing and we continued to receive appointment notices for months after he was gone

Dr. Gallagher is a caring, competent physician She listens to me, is so careful with her analysis of my health needs. I am so confident in her advice and care and trust her in planning my health care. She is a wonderful physician and I am so grateful to be her patient.

I recently needed an unplanned appointment with Dr. Gallagher for a new medical concern, and she made time for me within a couple days! Dr. Gallagher always spends adequate time when I see her, and I never feel rushed for her next appointment. She always finds time and answers! I have been a patient for many, many years, and she is fantastic always!

I just LOVE this office. Always on time, always organized and Dr. Gallagher knows my history before the visit. Dr. Gallagher never rushes me out of the visit and is always kind - but willing to let me know things i should be doing to improve my health!

Dr. Gallagher is fabulous! I feel so lucky to have her as my primary physician. At my recent appointment, she actually pulled her chair next to mine and reviewed my lab results with me. I appreciate her expertise, but also that she takes the time to talk with me. I never feel rushed when I meet with her, which is, unfortunately, now the exception rather than the rule when it comes to meeting with physicians. .
