Dr. Matthew Kyle Whitley

Cannot recommend him and his office enough. He is a doctor that truly cares about his patients and their families, which is a breath of fresh air these days. My daughter has Down syndrome, so we see a ton of doctors. He has been the one that has most impressed me. He isn’t alarmist or intervention-obsessed. He sees each patient as an individual, and shows up for our appointments promptly and after thoroughly reviewing our files and making sure he is an expert in his patient’s needs. He is truly a treasure!

Dr. Whitley took amazing care of our son when he desperately needed tubes. I highly recommend him - and his staff.

If you are reading this, you don't need me to tell you how amazing this doctor is! My son had a T&A surgery (with a different doctor) and it was literally one of the worst things we ever went through. I will spare you all the gross details. We knew my daughter needed one and kept putting it off in sheer dread of repeating what we went through except this time, we went to Dr. Whitley for it. She had kissing tonsils that were so large, they were touching at all times. I can't even tell you how different our experience was. She was completely fine- the entire time, she was never in pain, ate the entire time, it was like she never had surgery. I still can't believe it to this day. His approach to pretreatment, surgery and recovery was also totally different in terms of medications and pain management (and his is clearly the way to go). I am convinced this doctor is God sent to families who need ENT care.

The NP Mary Frances has been a great deal of help. Reaching out to me personally by phone answering my questions and giving us advice.

Dr.Whitley and Mary Frances are fantastic! Dr.Whitley has performed 4 surgeries on my daughter and she’s been a patient since she was 4. They have become like family. We have received nothing but to notch care. We mainly see Mary Frances (who rocks by the way). My daughter LOVES to see her and makes her a drawing every appt! After our ENT left the practice, we searched for an ENT for our sons. Dr. Whitley’s office was amazing. Mary Frances Chaussinand saw both of them quickly and went above and beyond to make sure our boys were well cared for. The thoughtful surgery scheduler, Crystal, was fantastic at taking care of them both at the same time. The office staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Whitley did a great job with their surgery and taking time to explain things. It’s a long drive for us to the office but we are forever grateful for the knowledge and compassion everyone gave to take care of our sons. Highly recommend this practice!

My 4 children have been under Dr Whitley’s care for 9.5 years now. I drive an 1+ just to have him as our ENT and Mary Frances as our NP. They are the MOST amazing team. I did and would continue to follow them no matter the distance. Not only are they exceptional doctors; they are also down to earth and caring humans. From my experience in the medical world; it is very difficult to find great doctors who look at your children as individuals and not just as a patient or number. They have treated my 4 as their own. Even my 2 year old who has caused them countless appointments, surgeries, lots of screaming and kicking. They’ve still loved him and personally invested in him to make him comfortable in their office. He now walks around pretending to be on the phone with “dr Whitley or Mary Frances” that’s how hard they worked to provide a safe environment for my child when they could have given up on him. Mary Frances has been an exceptional addition to Dr Whitley. She has taken every after hour call, text, emergency and dealt with a desperate mom at times who just needed an ear to listen to her when her kids were sick. She is the best there is. And anyone who meets her will know that there will be no one more thoughtful, caring and wise in her field of work than her. Dr. Whitley and Mary Frances make up a practice that combines intelligence, knowledge and true patience and bed side manner. Thank you both for all you do! We wouldn’t have survived the last year without both of you.

Dr. Whitley and his nurse Mary Frances are literal angels on earth. My girls (2 years old and 4 months old) are patients of the practice and we will never go anywhere else. We drive 45+ minutes to get there because they are the BEST. My oldest daughter had tubes placed at 8 months old and the procedure changed her life. Following her surgery, if there has been the rare breakthrough infection, Dr. Whitley and his staff immediately send in whatever we need to help her. My youngest daughter has severe reflux and we were desperate for answers. I’ll never forget leaving Dr. Whitley’s office and thinking to myself…oh my gosh, this person actually listened to my concerns, didn’t make me feel like a crazy person, and genuinely showed interest in helping my daughter. His nurse, Mary Frances, is a godsend. She answers every single text message and phone call, (even after hours) with love, compassion, and tender care. It felt like she treated my child as if she was her own, and that is so rare to find these days in the hustle and bustle of a medical office. If you are looking for a practice that will love and care for your babies, look no further. This is your place, these are your people!

I am so thankful for Dr Whitley. I've had concerns about my sons breathing and adenoids for over a year but every pediatrician and ENT I saw dismissed me. Finally, I found Dr Whitley and he made me feel heard. He reviewed my sons x rays and clinical history as well as my mother's intuition and recommended adenoid removal. Only time will tell if the surgery is a success (we just did it today!) but I'm so hopeful. He treated us so well, was very confident and clear, and my son is comfortable around him. Our 17 mo. old son had tubes put in by Dr. Whitley about 5 months ago and we're happy to report he's doing amazing. He's starting to speak (all the time!), his balance and hearing have improved and he's hardly been sick at all - 0 ear infections. We'd previously been averaging about one infection per month. We can't thank Dr. Whitley and his team enough!!

Today, after our first granddaughter's visit (she is only 9 days old) for a consultation with Dr. Matthew Whitley because of our concern about her being tongue tied since birth and as noticed by her pediatrician and her recommendation to have a pediatric ENT surgeon evaluate her for a surgical procedure to address this issue so that she can be breastfeed properly. Being a retired Operating Room Nurse from Miami and visiting our granddaughter since she was born,I researched the Pediatric ENT surgeons that I can be comfortable being from out of town. I came across Dr. Matthew Whitney's professional profile on Google and I was very impressed with the excellent reviews from all the parents that have been to see him and they gave all excellent reviews of their visit. The entire staff at his office from the receptionist to the young lady that ushered us to the examination room and the medical student that assisted Dr. Whitley during the procedure on our granddaughter we're all professional, knowledgeable and extremely friendly to us during our entire visit at his office. My 3 year old son was having frequent ear infections and sounded congested all the time. His adenoids were swollen and he had fluid in his ears that had been there for a long time. His primary doctor told me about the fluid in his ear during many visits and Dr. Whitley confirmed it also. I decided it was time to do my sons surgery. The day of the surgery, everything went smoothly and the communication with the staff was amazing!! My son got an adenoidectomy and ear tubes. I see a significant difference. Dr Whitley is a phenomenal doctor that takes the time to assess your kid’s medical needs. He treats when appropriate and waits when appropriate too. We followed him from another practice because he’s worth the extra drive.

Everything about Whitley ENT was amazing. The front desk team, Dr. Morgan with audiology, the Medical assistants and Dr. Whitley were all patient, kind, and incredibly comforting to my preschooler. Dr. Whitleys office was able to get my 2 year old son in next day for an appointment after being diagnosed with a recurring ear infection. His staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, and he was absolutely wonderful with my son! He made us feel attended to and was very communicative and honest with us. We are so glad we found him!!

Dr. Whitley makes my son feel so comfortable that he giggles while having his ears checked. He thoroughly explains procedures to parents and truly considers what treatments are best for each individual child on a medical and personal level. The new office is fabulous and so is all the staff!

My newborn recently visited Dr. Whitley’s office for a tongue tie revision. We opted for Dr. Whitley’s office based off reviews and are SO GLAD we did! Dr. Whitley is great with babies and kids, knowledgeable and left me feeling comfortable with the procedure. The procedure itself was quick and we have seen great results from it! The staff are also all wonderful, and everyone we encountered was absolutely lovely and incredibly kind. Lastly, and perhaps most telling, not once was I prompted to review the practice. Not via email or phone, not in person or even via signage in the office. This left me only to assume all these lovely reviews are completely unsolicited and genuine. It’s so common these days to get repeated prompts to review a business, but to have one that has such wonderful reviews based solely off of the great work they do is refreshing. Dr. Whitley is the absolute pediatric ENT! He did ear tube surgery for both my children and we trust him implicitly. His bedside manner is top notch, always makes my kids feel comfortable and always explains procedures and treatments really well. Can’t say enough great things about Dr. Whitley!

We’ve been with Dr. Whitley for over 6 years with both of our kids and he is by far our favorite provider. He’s great with kids and super informative with adults.
