Matthew R. Theado

Dr Theado was the pediatrician for our first child when he was a newborn. He was recommended to us by my Bellin OB’s nurse, who I thought very highly of! Despite the challenges of doing well baby visits during the COVID pandemic (only one parent at appointment, everyone wearing masks) he was very warm & friendly with top notch nurses too. Dr Theado took the time to answer all of our silly new parent questions, and when we had a minor emergency with the baby we were able to call his office and have a triage nurse consult with him, calming our nerves and saving us a trip to the ER. He’s a “real world” physician who can also pull from his personal experience as a parent (I think he said he has 4 children?!?) If we did not have to relocate away from De Pere we would absolutely continue getting care from Dr Theado for our baby and future children too. Can only hope our next pediatrician is as good! Dr.theado is amazing! I love seeing him! We’ve seen most of the doctors there and are very pleased with all of them. Only thing is that he has a new nurse who is very rude and not very friendly. We’ve seen him before with his old nurse Bobbi joe and loved her, but his new nurse Brianna seems very rushed and comes across very rude. I’ll be asking for Bobbi joe next time. Dr.theado is amazing! Dr. Theado listens to all my concerns as a parent and includes me in the decision making process. He is a fantastic provider.

Our children love Dr. Theado and they get excited for their doctor appointments. We feel so blessed to have him as our pediatrician!

Dr. Theado is absolutely amazing. Very patient and kind. He is full of information & always keeps us informed. He also knows not everyone knows the technical terms so he makes sure he talks about conditions and ideas in terms we can understand.
