Referral to Dr. Powell was a blessing. The entire experience...from referral to visit was seamless. The office staff very helpful and kind. Dr. Powell’s “bedside manner” is awesome....reassuring....kind...very patient and friendly. I can’t say enough about the experience!

Dr. Powell is the best and only Oncologists i trust to handle my cancer and i highly recommend him and his staff. They show that they care for their patients. Dr. Powell is very kind and compassionate, explains everything that is happening in terms you understand, gives you time to ask questions, and stays on top of your healthcare at all times. His office staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend him.

Hmmmm negative reviews are being deleted. Dr. Powell had great reviews when I went to see him for possible ovarian cancer. He performed a hysterectomy and was suppose to leave my ovaries if there was no cancer present. Well there was no cancer present and he took my ovaries anyway without consent, putting me in surgical menopause at 37. His careless actions have ruined my life.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Powell and his staff. He is a very caring doctor who has been attentive to my needs and concerns. I live several hours from St. Louis and anytime additional testing has been needed, he and his staff work to get it all in the day of my visit - which I truly appreciate.

Dr. Powell treated me as a person and not just a disease. I love his staff too. Still working on better outcomes for my ovarian cancer.

My treatment was very effective and prompt! The facility was beautiful with plenty of parking. The doctor and staff were wonderful.

Dr. Powell has provided me professional and personalized care during my diagnosis and surgery. I felt like I was given the best of care possible and that I had the best of Gynecologic Oncologists available.

Met Dr. Matthew Powell and his team for the first time with my wife who has a new health issue. We were very impressed with the entire process. He came highly recommended from colleagues in the field and I can certainly reiterate that recommendation. Very pleased.

He is a fantastic surgeon and was very supportive through chemo, taking the time to listen and change his mind with grace. With the cancer in remission, there was an understandable dip in his interest - he is, after all, an oncology specialist and all surgeons I ever met have limited attention spans post-op. But I have a terrible GP so I ended up sharing more health concerns with Dr.Powell than I had originally intended, and I found him incredibly helpful in charting a course of treatment.

I Don't Really Know Where To Start So I'll Start Right Here. My Experience With Dr. Matthew Powell And Barnes Hospital Was Horrible And Horiffic. I Contacted President And CEO Robert Cannon And He Gave My Experience To Nancy Smith Manager, In The Patient & Family Affairs, She Then Forward My Case To The Grievance Committee. They Decided My Case Isn't Worth A Dime. After Enduring The Traumatic Experience I'm Now On 2 Blood Pressure Meds & Depression Meds 40mg, Seeing A Therapist I Can't Afford.

He is the best dr I have had in a long time trust him with everything I even moved out of state and refused to get another dr. I will cont to see him until he retires.
