Dr. Matthew Edward Pia

Dr Pia has been our family Dentist for more than 25 years. He is skilled in every area of dentistry and we trust him with our care. He has a friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Pia has been my dentist for maybe 20 years, which tells you something right there. He and his staff have always done excellent work and have gone above and beyond to ensure my dental health. Besides being friendly and professional, they are thorough and skilled, which makes returning twice per year a no-brainer. I recommend Dr. Pia unhesitatingly.

Our family moved to the Ranchos about 3 years ago and have been blessed to have a great dentist like Dr. Pia and his team. He and his staff are professional and very kind. Appointments are made to fit my schedule and procedures are well explained. I can go on and on... Thank you Dr. PIA for your knowledge and for being my dentist.

I really like Dr. Pia and staff. This appointment procedures seemed really rushed though. Maybe because it was at 11:00 am and the dental assistant wanted her lunch. This is the first time I felt this. I have been going for years and highly recommend this office.

Really like the Hygienists I have had, they are thorough, friendly, and Always on time! I appreciate the text reminders for my scheduled appointments and the friendly welcoming I recieve when I walk in the door. Dr. Pia appears to be thorough on his brief assessment and re iewed my X-rays. And lastly, very nice to not need to drive out of the Ranchos for a dental visit!

My daughter recently had a cleaning and was very pleased. She said the hygienist was friendly, caring, and gentle with her. I am very pleased by the staff everytime we visit their office. We, as a family, highly recommend Ranchos Dental!!

My girls (ages 2 &3) were shown around the office, got to play a little game with the receptionist. Everyone was so nice and not rushing through even though my kids were not having the whole dental experience. I need to switch my entire family here! I like the environment of the office. Not some big fancy place that sees so many patients at a time they could care less who you are.

Dr. Pia has been my dentist since 2001. Even though I have moved to Seaside, CA I still make the journey to see him for care. His staff are fantastic, his chair side manner puts the heart at ease even when he has bad news...my old teeth. So grateful he is younger than I. He will be taking care of me for years to come!

I haven’t been to the dentist in quit awhile and was nervous about my tooth cleaning. My hygienist was Beth and she was very nice in helping me ease into it. I definitely felt comfortable during the visit. She was awesome about explaining everything to me in detail and if I experienced by any discomfort she stopped to apply numbing agent to help. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for dental care.

Nice technology here..We’ve never had to wait long at all during any of our appointments. They’re straight to the point and make sure we completely understand the treatment needed and whole process from beginning to end. The entire staff, as well as Dr. Pia, is super friendly, down to earth, and make sure my daughter is comfortable during any treatment she is receiving. We no longer live in Madera Ranchos, but will continue to drive there because they are worth it and just that amazing!!

Went today with my 5yo twins and they made it such a fun first experience for them. They explained everything at their level and and we’re very patient with them both. And bonus points for when my son got fussy while I was rushing to finish the paperwork and the staff came out to talked to him and soothed him so I could finish. Sooo much appreciation for that. They all played a part to make it a great experience for all of us.

I called asking for a consultation price for a cavity. I am a full time student and part time worker so I wanted to be fully informed about their payment plans or any other costs. Jackie was extremely rude and had the nerve to actually tell me "work on your income". Never in my life have I ever been told that, especially by a professional. Going to the dentist has never been one of my favorite things to do. Dr Pia and his staff make the experience more pleasant. I like the idea that Jackie is always at the front desk to greet me and makes me feel comfortable. The wait for a room is timely and it is rare to be alone for any length of time. He’s a good Dentist,But they didn’t get pre-authorization from my insurance on a couple of procedures, my insurance wouldn’t pay for them so I was out of pocket very upsetting

Both my husband and I have had dental trauma and anxiety when finding new dental care. With that being said we both LOVE Ranchos Dental. Everyone one there is so friendly and they make you feel so comfortable that we are even comfortable bringing our children there. I don't think anyone really wants or likes going to the dentist....but I feel very comfortable coming here and have Dr.Pia and his wonderful staff take care of my smile! Appointments are set so you never spend more then five minutes in the waiting room. The entire staff treats you with respect and very professional but you still get that "family" feel! I am glad my dentist is in my community and I highly recommend him!

I've seen many Dentists in my life and Matt is by far the kindest most caring dentist I've experienced. When he did my fillings and replaced my crown. I was handled professionally and with extreme care. I recommend him to adults and children.
