He will hurt you!!! His nurse is no better! My mother had a colostomy bag done by him twice, and he approved her for a reversal with no colon or large intestine!! For a year she used the bathroom on herself, in and out of the hospital with a raw rectum! Now she’s 2 weeks post op and the bag want stick or stay in place and her bowels are draining into her surgical site. This has caused her skin to become raw and facing infection. Yet he doesn’t know why and we have to fight to keep her in the hospital for around the clock care. Hospital has some of the worst nurses I have ever encountered in my life!! I will be coming for everyone that has cause my mom life to be a complete nightmare these past three years!!! Care about your patients or find another profession!!

DOCTOR BEWARE! Do your research and don’t believe what this doctor says or does. Go for a second opinion. I hope my review saves someone from this doctor.

My mom was a patient of Dr Peebles for years. Her first surgery with him was in 2013. She had stage 4 colorectal cancer, and they had to remove a large section of her colon. She also had a grapefruit sized hernia that needed repair. He did an amazing job. There were complications because of her poor health, and he quickly made time for her. I don't understand why anyone would give him a bad review. He is thoughtful and cares about his patients, working with their other doctors to give them the best treatment possible. Great surgeon. Explains everything and takes time to do it.

Dr. Peebles treated me in both the hospital and out patient. It’s easy to be frustrated and disheartened when in pain but his patience and upbeat attitude really gave me hope! Took the TIME to explain everything and be sure that I could understand exactly what was happening and what to expect. Took every concern I had in to consideration. Greatful for his FANTASTIC care. He saved my life

He is a very Smart Surgeon, he certainly knows his medicine. Thank you Dr, Peebles for saving my life!

I was very happy to have a gallbladder out by laproscopic surgery and I hardly knew I had surgery, Super Dr. can't say enough and how greatful I am .

My wife and I were so very pleased with Dr. Peebles. In our meeting (right on scheduled appointment time) prior to surgery he carefully explained my problem, and in detail explained the surgical procedure to correct my problem. He did not act rushed or hurried. He asked if we had any questions but he had explained so clearly that we only had a couple. Dr. Peebles very professional and yet very personable. If I should have to have surgery again, he would be my first choice!

Dr. Peebles operated on my husband at Tradition Medical Center after he was bleeding from a large tumor and abdominal blockage. He literally saved my husband's life. He has been so calming, informative, and just a wonderful surgeon.

Absolutely terrible experience with this surgeon. Very poor patient care post-op. He perforated my sister's bile duct during a lap chole procedure and never addressed it. The hospital sent her home saying that she just had "gas pain" but they never did any imaging to confirm any complications. They did not follow protocol appropriately at all. The nurses were the only helpful people at Tradition Medical Center. As a soon to be physician myself, I was extremely disgusted at the lack of care.

Dr Peebles is one of the reasons they refer to it as PRACTICING medicine. I had two appointments with him for an ultrasound and biopsy. The first appointment he did the ultrasound of my neck but referred me out for the ultrasound of my armpit Why?. My second appointment he said that he could not see what the ultrasound was showing so he refused to do the work and canceled the biopsy. But he was very happy to take my two $60 co-payments for doing nothing. He is arrogant and clueless. Horrible.

After waiting in a small cold room for over a hour, neither the doctor nor his staff explained where the doctor was or why the long wait. My time is valuable too. I walked out of the office and had my co-pay refunded.

This general surgeon over slept or skipped his class during medical school on bedside manner, devoid of empathy and follow up on the patients he accepts responsibility for. His lack of respect and accountability for his actions are disgraceful with M.D. after his name. His discussion and I mean ONE discussion with family members of a patient he operated on were self serving to boost his own ego and lack of talent as a surgeon. My dad never left the hospital!!! Do your research!!!!!

This was the first office visit ,and was good

He just responded to a thyroid ultrasound that I had over 4 months ago - I actually had forgotten that I had it done! Seems irrelevant what the results were at this point in time. Thank heavens I reviewed & compared to my previous tests myself. I would not recommend the average person do this however. Fortunately my review was accurate. And his P.A. left me an old disconnected number to call back on. Ok - no more visits to him!!!

Dr. Peebles does not communicate well with his patients before, during and after and does not take actions to correct surgeries and after care seriously. Does not listen well.
