I am very pleased with all of the staff. They are courteous, professional and efficient. I feel like I have a large team all working together to help me. Their attention to detail is wonderful. It’s a “one stop shop” that caters to healing the whole body and mind. I am very pleased and highly recommend this facility.

Dr. Kalter is wonderful. He always takes time to explain everything to me in a way I understand. He comes up with non invasive ways to help with my chronic back pain, he doesn’t give up, and he’s helping me so that I can put off surgery for as long as possible without being in excruciating pain.

Dr Matthew has been my Dr for several years. He honestly cares about his patients and only has their best interests at heart. He takes the time to explain everything so that the patient understands. Dr Matthew and his team take the time to get to know their patients. I recommend him every chance I get.

I had a great experience with everyone at my visit. Dr Kalter went out of his way to get my procedure accomplished that someone had screwed up and had me seeing someone that doesn’t do this procedure. I truly thank him for getting it done so I didn’t have to come back since we are so far away.

I have been treated from time to time by other doctors. They were good, but I am very impressed with the bedside manner, his wanting to help me, going through what my options were and hope for helping me to overcome my arthritis. His knowledge of his professional stands second to none. His staff wanted me help me in any way they can. I would give Dr. Matthew Kalter a rating of 5 stars. Dr Matthew actually cares about you, He is invested in your well being, He was so kind and made me feel at ease, like i was a human and not just a patient/number. Great practice. Wait time was reasonable. I had this really bad back pain, and I have seen other doctors. I felt this group was more compassionate, took time to explain things to me and offered me a clearer picture of what I am dealing with.

Dr. Matthew is an excellent doctor who cares about his patients. I came to him with pain in my shoulders and knee. Dr. Matthew gave me a PRP and stem cell injection in each joint. I was surprised at how quick the procedure took. I have not had any pain in over three years. His staff was very professional and friendly. They followed up with me to make sure I did not have any complications. I highly recommend Dr. Matthew.

Dr Kalter did a thorough assessment of my back and neck pain and history. He actually takes the time to listen and ask questions, and evaluate my movement. He offered short term and long term solutions to manage the pain, especially given that I had to travel the next day. The office also is very clean and nice!

Melissa in this office does not care about your condition. The lab thay use to get urine samples read it's insufficient. once Melissa told me she couldn't find my report next time she told me I tested positive to substances that were not true. she treated me like a junkie just trying to get pills this is only 6 weeks after major back surgery these people do not care about you. PT Dept. is Wonderful. Lyndsey, Ryan, Jayne & Anthony provide Excellent support, both physically and mentally. It's almost 6 months that I've been going for physical therapy and it has helped me a lot. They've taught me many stretches & exercises that I do in the morning. Nastiest employees! The longest wait time no matter what day. Even for paperwork you'll be waiting an hour. The manager is beyond rude. Front desk is despicable!!!

I’d give less if I could. Dr. Kaltar is an amazing doctor but the office staff/management company ruined coming here. I’ve had numerous issues with treatment being sent correctly. Every time I’d speak to Trisha about issues she’d get defensive and didn’t care because as per her it was the management company that handles paperwork. If there’s an issue wouldn’t the office manager try to fix it? Not here and the management company never returned calls to fix the issues. I had left and went to a much better facility that the office actually cares and want to help injured patients. Doesn’t matter how good of a doctor you are if your office staff sucks it’s a reflection of him. He can get staff that cares. Dr Kalter is a very excellent caring and professional doctor. These people are leaving bad reviews for the front desk people, which you should not do, to it makes it look like Dr. Kalter is terrible. Yes, the front end is very rude , they are horrible. The wait sometimes can be long, but he has been my doctor for 3 years now and I am very pleased. I am reading these reviews and feel like I am hearing about a different office then what I experience. I have been a patient for awhile now and find the staff to be nothing but professional, nice and compassionate including management (Trisha) who always returns my calls promptly, takes care of all my insurance needs immediately (referrals etc) and Always asks me if Iam ok and if I need anything. Dr Kalter I cant say enough about his knowledge on all conditions is impressive , best bed side manner , compassionate and couldnt ask for a better doctor. Those who are writing unfavorable reviews did you ever think that you maybe have to wait alittle longer on somedays because another patient just got bad news from a test they just got done , or that there medication adjustment might take alittle longer so they could beable to get out of bed . I have sat in that waiting room too m as my times and have heard patients attack and I mean attack the staff and the staff and management handle themselves in the most professional manner . Never been happier with every single person in this office. Front desk receptionist is the nicest and most kind person I’ve ever met. She’s very welcoming and easy to talk to. When ever I go to the office she welcomes you with a smile and helps with everything I ask. The manager Trisha is so kind and also extremely helpful and caring. She makes things so pleasant and I feel comfortable talking to her as she always gives me time to talk. Jon and Jayne are seriously the nicest people I’ve ever had help me they listen to all my problems and do their best to make me feel better. Had constant issues with office staff needed to speak to Dr. Kalter, secretary at front desk told me over the phone that the doctor does not call patients. She has been rude since day one and I only went there times. Just as rude on phone. If you read other reviews you will see that I wasn’t the only one that had issues with her. Beware big blonde haired friendly phony overwhelming character.Doctor needs to know this is happening cause he just lost me as a patient due to rudeness and incompetence.

Today is June 12,2019 my name is Stephanie Inselsberger doctor kalter is a wonderful doctor I trust however I was very disappointed in my wait time today. I had 12:00 appointment and wasn't still wasn't seen by 1:10 . Sorry to say I had to leave to go to my job. Please keep in mind everyone's time is important! Stephanie inselsberger

My wife and I have just started using Dr. Kalter. He has a wonderful office staff and the rehabilitation specialists are top rate. Dr. Kalter shows interest and is very caring. I highly recommend him.

Dr Kalter is a wonderful doctor. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He listens to his patients and try’s to help them. His bed side manner is amazing.

I have been seeing DrKalter for years and won’t see anyone else. It’s hard to find a Dr that will actually listen to you for more then 30 seconds. He has always been professional, and my concerns are his concerns. I can’t thank him enough for the things he has helped me through!

Horrible follow up from staff, incompetent office. Prescribing medication without knowing patient needs. Doctor never calls to follow up. Billing insurance company without providing full service to patient. Good luck if your considering this office. Terrible experience!!! Complaint will be filed with medical board.

Dr. Kalter is a caring doctor. He has a wonderful personality. He is a very caring doctor . He listens and is very patient . Waiting time is long, but he is worth it. I have done procedures with him, and never had a problem.

Great Dr. very happy with the care he’s giving me and how he listens to what you have to say and I really feel he cares about the pain your in and does everything he can to help you feel comfortable! The staff there are great also, their very courteous and professional as well as Dr. Kalter!! Definitely would recommend family and friends to go to Dr. Kalter!

I'm so grateful for Dr. Kalter and the entire team at the Smithtown office. The pain from my previous car accident has reduced significantly. The PT department is knowledgeable, friendly and made my recovery so much easier. The office staff is always professional and courteous. They always do whatever they can to assist their patients. Dr. Kalter's care has made a tremendous difference for me. Thanks everyone!

I had a 3 tier back fusion December 2016 and was recommended to Dr Kalter for physical therapy. From day 1 the entire staff has been very professional and caring. The therapists are highly trained, professional and push you to get better. The front office is amazing and makes you feel like family. I would highly recommend them to anyone. What a great staff.

Dr. Kalter is an absolute God send he has helped me tremendously with my chronic pain. He utilizes a variety of modalities to treat pain and most importantly (to me anyway) he is a wonderful listener! I am no longer over reliant on cortisone shots. I never feel rushed no matter whether I am seeing him first thing in the morning or I am the last patient of the day. Dr. Kalter is the most caring doctor I've ever met. He has certainly chosen the right profession and I would highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kalters for several years. He always takes the time to listen to your concerns and trying to help you manage your pain. Michelle in the office is great as well.

Dr. Kalter has been my pain management doctor for approximately 10 years. He has always been kind, approachable and very patient. He explains the procedures so that you can understand what to expect and what will happen. I have recommended Dr. Kalter to coworkers as well aous friends that suffer from chronic pain. You know you are getting a great doctor, when the doctor comes highly recommended from one of your own doctors.

Always on time, friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Michelle at the front desk is amazing and always meets your needs.

I got there @ 12:30 had a 1:00 app filled out papers, no one else in waiting room. 1:30 I'm called into room, Dr. comes in @ 2:30, has the wrong case and said that I switched them, he says he's going to see what happened with office staff and leaves with my MRI disc. I walk out @ 3:18 without my disc after hearing Dr. with another patient and told the office staff I would never make an appointment here again. The halls smell like effluent and the parking sucks. NEVER AGAIN
