We saw Dr. Kacir because our regular Pediatrician was out of the office. Our baby was experiencing pain while sleeping and had just had back-to-back colds. We assumed there was fluid in his ear. Dr. Kacir sent us away with a recommendation for probiotics. We visited the Cleveland Clinic the same day for a second opinion and found that our child had double ear infection. The provider was able to identify this right away. We are very disappointed by this carelessness.

I am always impressed with the care that Dr. Kacir delivers. He always goes above and beyond to get us in (usually same day), runs on time (almost never a wait), takes time to explain everything to us in an upbeat and welcoming manner. He’s easy to recommend!

He had been out doctor for 15 years now. One of the best. I have my sister's take their kids to him too. Feels like family.

Dr. Kacir is wonderful. He’s upbeat, optimistic, kind, thorough, and we’ll informed. He runs on time and he’s a pleasure to see.

Our 8 month old son was experiencing pain, after having back-to-back colds. We assumed he had fluid in his ear and scheduled an appointment to have his ears checked. Dr. Kacir diagnosed our child with Gastroenteritis and recommended probiotics. We visited the Cleveland Clinic later that day for a second opinion because the baby was screaming every time we laid him down. The provider found that he had a double ear infection and were able to see it in his ears right away. We feel that Dr. Kacir did not listen to our concern and was careless.

Very well educated! He knows his stuff. Very honest and not pushy.

Dr. Matthew Kacir Is an amazing doctor I love how professional he is and how thorough he is when treating his patients. The staff are so polite professionals and so very kind. I am glad I found Dr.Mathew and his staffs and I thank them for excepting my daughters! Thank You!!

He has been taking car of my 3 boys for over 14 years. He is the only Dr I have fully trusted. My kids love him so much that when my sons turned 21 they was mad he had to change doctors. Best doctor.

Probably the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. He advised me to feed my newborn for no more than 15 mins at a time. This ended up causing me to starve her because she had a lip tie and had to work harder to breastfeed. After working with lactation consultants, pediatric dentists, and chiropractors I was able to get my baby’s ties revised and I never visited Dr. Kacir again. My baby would’ve ended up in ICU if I would’ve followed his advice. Not breastfeeding friendly at all. Probably the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. My son enjoys going to Dr. Kacir. As others have posted, he is upbeat and positive all the time, and relates really well to my son. His physicals are more thorough than any other provider we have visited. He provides information in an easy to understand way. I'm glad we found him!

I am so appreciative of Dr. Kacir's care. My son has had numerous sports physicals done--the quick kind, where they just give you a once over and sign a form. I took my son to Dr. Kacir this year, and, it was found that he has a serious heart issue that had gone undetected. He's now getting the cardiology care he needs and doing great! Thanks again. My family and I are very happy with Dr. Kacir as our pediatrician. He is always upbeat and happy. He’s fun and informative.

My sons and daughters have been seeing Dr. Kacir for several years, and we love every appointment. My children are excited to see him and are eager to come to the office. He always puts me at ease and is so informative.

My husband and I tried to like Dr. Kacir; however, previous reviewers are SPOT ON in that he has an incredibly strange way of interacting with patients. He has a totally scripted, robotic spiel as if you're getting on a ride at Cedar Point. He was rather rough with our baby, speaks extremely quickly & seldom makes eye contact as if to avoid any dialogue with you. We found him to be incredibly condescending whenever we asked questions (if you can even get a word in edgewise). Won't be returning.

Incredibly thorough doctor. Makes sure that every concern is addressed and evaluated. We've had previous pediatricians who've never gone into such great deal as Dr. Kacir. We appreciate his care.

The westshore office is so incredibly unorganized and rude. Do not go to this practice.

We've been seeing Dr. kacir for ten years and have enjoyed every visit. He always runs in time. He is the most thorough pediatrician we have ever known. We highly recommend him!

Without getting into the details, Dr. Kacir saved my son's life. It is because he is so thorough. It is because he orders the right labs and studies that a cancer that would have been fatal was caught and he got the treatment he needed.

My three boys have gone to Dr. Kacir since they were babies and he has always been so thorough. He is funny and kind.

I am so happy to have Dr. Kacir as my children's pediatrician. He is the perfect balance of being very thorough without being overly invasive or reactive. He is fun, upbeat, and interacts with the children; at the same time, he is professional, informative, explains things completely. He is punctual and kind.

Dr. Kacir disrespected my two year old, because of our medical background. He was very rough and made him cry. It was very unnecessary, to treat a child in such a way. He was rude to me and my husband, and no then proceeded to go to his office and talk very loudly about us. I will not be allowing to treat my children again.

Dr. was very loud and obnoxious, and handled my baby like a rag doll. Ordered unessesary tests. Saw him because of a mix up in scheduling, will NEVER see him again. Nurse was terrible and fought with my baby too.

Dr. Kacir has a very odd way of interacting with parents and children. Each encounter I've had with his felt rushed and as though he is reciting a very well rehearsed script. He wants to perform every test available even at well child checks. When kindly refused expensive unnessary testing, he became passive aggressive and left me feeling horrible.

I am so happy that Dr. Kacir is our pediatrician. He excels at balancing in depth work-ups without being overly reactive or invasive. His interactions with our children are fun and put the children at ease.

Dr. Kacir talks down to parents and has a strange way of interacting with patients. Rushes through appointments as if he is on autopilot. Extremely arrogant and resistant to recommendation on treatment from specialists, even when he has recommended a specialist opinion. Calls to nurse/office regarding clinical issues take over a week to return.

this dr. Is very aggressive with wanting to do multiple unnecessary tests on a healthy 3 year old and prescribing unwarranted and overly strong medications. When questioned and asked for less strong medication, I was told to find another pediatrician after the first visit. I've always liked the sick appointments here, but disliked dr. Kacir very much and his strange way of talking to the child while addressing the adult is very strange. He rushed through the appointment.
