Dr. Matthew James Connolly

He is a very nice doctor and he takes care of good people and I am feeling better form my leg.

I injured my foot. I was able to get in to see Dr Connolly within 24 hours of calling for an appointment. He is very knowledgeable and a good teacher about care for my injury. And is a super nice guy also !

I have seen Dr. Connolly numerous times. Always professional and very friendly. Never seems to be running out of the room. Takes the time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend Dr Connolly.

New to the area, I was dismayed when it became apparent that I needed the care of a podiatrist. Reviewing the Healthgrades of the insurance network providers led me to Dr Connolly. I found it easy to schedule a prompt appointment, and a practice that is staffed with friendly, caring and efficient people. Dr Connolly paid close attention to my concerns and thoroughly addressed my questions in a friendly, professional manner. No long wait to see the doctor, get x-rays, or have a tech work with me to fit and use durable medical equipment. It's too early to tell if this treatment will resolve the issue, but I can say that the pain I have been experiencing is already reduced.

He was a fantastic doctor. He was very nice and got straight to the point. He was clear on his treatment plans and the after treatment directions were very clear. He made me feel comfortable during my procedure. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent. Explained my condition very well.

I’ve been a patient since 2014. Anytime I have a foot or ankle injury I go straight to his office. I don’t even go to the ER anymore because I do not trust their diagnosis. Dr.Connolly is the only one I trust. He is super thorough in reading the X-rays and the physical examination. My overall experiences have been top notch!

Going to the ER was a waste of time, they Xrayed my foot and said nothing broken offered pain pills (which I refused) and sent me home. I called immediately to Dr Connolly's office and was able to get in same day. He was so thorough, personable and easy to talk to about my issue. He immediately identified the problem and devised a care plan. Only 3 days later, and I can already tell a huge difference in the pain, and am hopeful for a positive outcome. Dr. Connolly saw my elderly mother after her ankle injury. I was so impressed by how he treated her. Not only did he check the ankle for possible fractures but he spoke directly to her (often not the case when working with the elderly,) and spoke loudly and clearly. He understood the pluses and minuses of having to wear a big boot and thoughtfully explained his recommendation and told us how we would know if we needed a follow up visit. We really appreciated this option to automatically having a follow up visit because getting to the doctor’s office is such an ordeal. All the while Dr. Connelly was pleasant and upbeat. Office got me in fast. Dr.Connolly took one look at my foot, knew right away what the problem was . He removed it and the pain was gone instantly. Great explanation of problem, and it will come back. So glad I went to a specialist.

I had a great experience. I was taken to the hospital on Monday and they said that my foot was not broken. Dr. Connolly looked at the same X-ray's and seen that it was broke. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate you and your staff. I would highly recommend you to family and friends.

Dr Connelly has done a great job taking care of me when I had a stress fracture and recommending orthotic insoles.

If you need treatment of a foot or lower leg problem, you couldn’t ask for a better Doctor than Matthew J. Connolly, D.P.M. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Connolly provided me with great ortho care and education. He listened to me as I informed him of the injury I sustained and has provided appropriate treatment. The staff were pleasant to work with and my son and I smile. I would recommend him to anyone needing ortho care.

Dr. Connolly is very pleasant, very caring and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic issue you need. He was very attentive to my needs, I will never see just a podiatrist again after having met him.

I went to Dr. Connolly for pain in my feet four times. He recommended that I get custom inserts for $400 which I did. The inserts made my feet hurt worse. So then he tells me to get an MRI and an EMG which I did. Nothing showed up on either image. I went back to see Dr. Connolly and he said the only thing I could do was to find another job sitting down which is not an option for me. I know he has some good reviews but I would not recommend going to him if you have foot pain. I went to Dr. Connolly for pain in my feet four times. Dr. Connolly was fabulous with my 9 year old son that dropped a 25 lb weight on his toe. He made us feel comfortable and that situation was as bad as we had thought, he was very reassuring. He answered all my questions and took his time.

I have been suffering with feet pain for months now and I walked into Dr Connolly Office with no appointment and they saw me immediately. I had seen Dr. Connelly and have to say he was great!! I have been dealing with a foot injury since January and just kept being told it was plantar fasciitis. I kept doing the stretches and exercises and each visit to my old doc I told him I was still in a lot of pain and that I didn’t think it was what they were saying !! Excellent...friendly, concise, made sure I knew everything going on. He diagnosed a problem I’ve been having for the 6 or 7 years in about 5 minutes. I’ve seen other podiatrists and none of them figured it out.

Listens and understands. I was very comfortable meeting this DR. He’s very friendly and professional.

He explained what was wrong with my foot. We talked about what was the best way to help my foot to heal. We came to a dicesion together. It was the best diversion because when I woke up the next morning my foot was feeling better.

He was friendly, funny and knew in a instant that he needed to do another X-ray. My symptoms were sounding like a bone and not tendons or a sprain. I had been misdiagnosed 13 days earlier. It was and he had me fixed up in a boot and on my way to healing. I’m still wearing it and I hate the limitations but I’m glad to have a correct diagnosis.

Excellent. Went to another podiatrist and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my foot. Dr. Connolly found issue in 5 mi utes being in the office. Always had excellent experience with Dr. Connolly. Will never go anywhere else again.

Initial visit with Dr Connolly went extremely well-was actually seen a few minutes before my appointment time! It was obvious to me the office is putting effort into being very efficient. Dr Connolly was conversive, focused on me, informative, and right on time. He quickly identified the issue with my foot. Hoping the initial treatment will resolve the issue.

Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor or a better experience! Waited less than 5 min before I saw the doctor. He treated me with respect and discussed my condition with me on my level. Highly recommend Dr Connolly!
