Had my first set of injections for my back pain. Haven't felt that kind relief in so very long. I'm a month out from them now and starting to feel some of the pain retuning a little bit more each day.

I have been seeing Dr Boeckman for some years now him and his staff are very professional and courteous. One thing I really like is he cares about your care and isn't out just to take money and give you misdiagnosis. I highly recommend he has never steered me wrong. Thank you Dr Boeckman and Staff.

Dr Boeckman and his staff are wonderful people ❤! Dr. B always takes time to explain everything and answer all my questions, even the stupid ones! I have never been pushed to have anything done, always given time to think ???? and decide! When I had the procedure done on my lower back, which by the way is no where near your kidneys folks, it was the best decision I have ever made! Awesome ???? relief! His staff, including Ms Julia are the best! From day one they have treated me well! I love them all! Since I think i have a nickname, my name is June Williams! Any negativity about this place is just not true! Dr B stays busy constantly! He must be doing something ✅! Makes sense! He may be young but he knows what he's doing! Dr Beckman was very thorough and I enjoyed my conversation with him on my first visit,but when I went to get my injection one lady in the back was talking trash about patience my self as well as other's. I felt sad for this med tech/nurse I'm not sure of her title but she was rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately she is a representation of Dr.Boeckman and she is a very poor one. I really hope that the problem was corrected,so that it don't reflect the other staff because they were kind and respectful. One bad apple can ruin the whole batch.

Dr. Boeckman has been nothing but totally honest and professional with me since taking over this practice some years ago. I appreciate his forthright attitude. Great doctor!!

I've been to Dr. Boeckman a few times now, and he has helped my back pain tremendously! His staff is professional and personable. I highly recommend him.

Very satisfied with Dr Blackman and his staff. His staff is always nice and friendly and very helpful. Been going for about 6 months now when I was told I needed surgery and he has helped with my pain. He listens to my issues and will explain what my options are in detail and answers all my questions even the stupid ones. He takes the time nneded to make sure you understand everything and doesn't act like he is in a rush to get you in and out like so many other doctors do. Also, if he can't help you he will tell you instead of doing a procedure that won't work.I would recommend him to anyone looking for relief without all the pills other doctors seem to push. I’ve been helped by Dr Boeckman and his incredible staff for several years now. First, I love his preference for injections over surgery. Pain management is my preference over surgery. However, when I had an accident, he immediately ordered an MRI (because of my neck injury I needed a standing up MRI). When he realized I needed surgery (to avoid damage to my spinal cord) he/his staff secured me a fast track access to a great surgeon. His follow-up and care for my neck - as well as his continued care for my lumbar and thorasic spine have been great. His staff is also awesome. They take personal interest in you, and work to meet the needs of your schedule and care needs. I’m almost 60 and while my need for doctors have increased in the past few years, there is no doubt their staff stands out as the most understanding and workable with your situation. (They have no control of insurance limitations/rules, or state laws. They maintain high integrity in these matters. So when they - on a rare exception - tell you they can’t do what you are asking/wanting, you must understand their high ethics and standards!) Most pain management doctors throw pills at you. Dr. Boeckman does not. He listens and gives advice on what procedure could help. Along with pain medications he keeps me working. without him i would have poor quality of life due to pain and i would not be able to do my job. He and his staff are personable and friendly and truly and honestly care for the health of their patients.

Dr. Boeckman has been great at helping manage my pain, and giving me a treatment plan that works for me. He listens to what i tell him and gives honest answers on what is best to get my pain under control. His staff are all super friendly and very nice and helpful I am glad i was referred here thank you so much.

Has helped find alternate ways to help with my chronic pain issues and injuries. He didnt just throw pain medication at the issues. Has reduced my pain medication and I feel better. I do still need some medication but the other adjustments have improved life for me greatly. He explains things in a way that I can understand. I am very happy with where we are heading in my future care

I appreciate everything that Dr. Boeckman has done for me. II don't think I could not manage holding down my full-time job if it wasn't for Oklahoma Pain Institute. Most of all that the Doctor is clear, honest and straight forward with me. Thank You Oklahoma Pain Institute

Have been going to Dr. Boeckman for a few years now and can only say great things about he and his staff. They take time to listen and work around schedules.

I was dropped 3 days before my appointment because of “excessive cancellation of procedures” Every time I ever canceled I did so within his protocol with the exception of a death in the family. In which I had to pay $150 even that time I did call Ocom to cancel. I just did not call his office! The other times I canceled were for surgery, and because of my work schedule. I was only seeing him because my doctor was just not there one day (he’d moved with no warning). This young doctor had taken over the practice. My neck is fused and I’ve had back surgery. I’ve had multiple injections & every nerve block and test known to man. I have 4 disk that are bad, which makes me inoperable. Stimulators won’t help because the pain is coming from the actual disk not the nerves. All the testing I’d had done before he came into the practice he, after a year, decided he needed to redo, because “ he didn’t trust my doctor” He really was just wanted to make more money than a simple office visit it seemed to me. He told me that he wanted to do these Nerve blocks on me (that have previously been done) if that wasn’t the problem he would put in a nerve stimulator, and if my insurance wouldn’t approve it where he wanted to place it he would just go higher up because they usually always would approve that! I honestly think this man is dangerous and he God Personna he has is going to get someone else hurt! If you read all the real reviews “real” patients have written it’s bad! He has messed patients up. When he took over his current practice he had 1.4 stars now it shows up as 4 but if you look carefully at what counts it is still very very low. Please be warned! Find someone else that has some experience, not a young doctor who thinks he knows more than any other doctor and will tell you so! I also had Dr Berry as my surgeon who is one of if not the best. When I questioned Beockman on Dr. Berry’s thinking it was bad disks and that none of the other stuff would help me...he again said he wouldn’t “give two $h!!s “ for anything they thought was wrong with me! Now I’m stuck with no pain meds, No doctor, and a big wedding cake to make! Which means I’ll be on my feet the next 5 days about 10 hrs a day! And have to go to my primary for a referral to a pain doctor and wait. I literally can’t walk, sit lay on my sides in bed even. Without pain medication I have any quality of life. I am almost bed ridden. He waited until time for my appointment to do this! What kind of human being would do something like that to another person? I am going to be seeking Legal counsel. I have never sued anyone before, but I refuse to let this man get away with this! I literally would get a knot in my stomach every month when I had to go to the doctor. I’ve never had a bad pee test never in 5 years at this practice even been late for an appointment, or canceled anything other than those three procedures! So I don’t know why I got so sick about having to go other than the way you are treated and made to feel about something you have no control over! If I could score him a 0 NOSTARS I would! . I called to see what time my appointment was on Friday, and was informed that they had put a letter in the mail that day to me informing me that he was dropping me as a paitient because of excessive cancellation of procedures. I canceled 1 because of a death, 1 I had surgery on both feet, 1 because of work. I decorate wedding cakes and have been booked every week since early spring. No warning just dropped me 3 days before my appointment. I am inoperable. The scheduled things I didn’t need.

The very few positive reviews on this page all sound the same..hmm sounds fishy to me, like maybe the Dr is the only one giviing his own page great reviews. The giveaway is, he's trying to be understanding with wait times on all of his own reviews; and he leaves smart-ellic remarks at the end like "calm down" and "talk to your congressman."

I have been a patient of Dr. Boeckman for approximately 3 years now. When I first went to him, I was skeptical because most other doctors had told me that I would end up in a wheelchair because of the problems with my back. Dr. Boeckman is the first doctor who has given me a glimmer of hope that this is not going to be my future. He may be very busy, but he always takes the time to talk to me and ask me specific questions regarding my pain and how am I feeling. I trust him & his staff.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Boeckman, If you read the unfavorable reviews you can see the pattern. It looks those upset are the ones who had their medication dosage decreased. It seems to me that it would be appreciated that you would have a doctor who cared about your well-being and safety. In regards to wait times being lengthy.....yes, they are.....you're seeing a specialist. Calm down!

I really like this man as a doctor but the wait time in the office is unbelievable 2 1/2 -3 hours each time. I have gone 4 times hes done two sets of shots in the back that i was going to tell him have helped. But today i went in about 20 minutes late for my appt.the receptionist is always quite rude so she started getting onto me for being late what are we going to do about it? I said i guess nothing- i dont do anything about the 2/3 hour waits .. she cancelled me dr boekman please call

Dr.Boeckman is thorough, explains exactly what the problem is and has a very exact plan to help alleviate the pain. I would highly recommend him!

Don't waste your time (will wait up to 3 hrs) with dr boeckman! All he cares about is studies, surveys etc doesn't look at your records, he will degrade others Drs, degrade you, not there to listen to you, he will tell you you need injections, even if you've had years of them already. He'll say his will work when other Drs have not helped.. he is very pompous and arrogant and doesn't care for people! He is probably the rudest dr I've ever encountered! It's his way or the highway!

Did not see a place for zero star worst experience with a doctor I've ever had agree with all the others and can add so much more arrogant no bedside manner uncaring unprofessional unbelievable!!!

I have seen Dr. Boeckman for almost three years now and am very happy with him. He addressed my immediate problems first, and got me moving again. We are still working together on other options and procedures for long term pain relief and I have every confidence that together we will get there. As we all know, the government is making it very difficult for any doctor to prescribe pain medication right now; so don't blame the doctor, write your congressman. Dr. Boeckman is awesome.

I am completely dissatisfied with the treatment that I received while in his care. He bought the practice of my former doctor and proceeded to cut the pain meds of most patients with no explanation. He refused to listen to my problems and understand what effect that had on my day to day life. He was arrogant and did not explain things well at all.

Called to have my medication refilled only to be told I needed to make an appt. After I had my mri scheduled. Said they told me that on my last visit. I don't recall that conversation. After all the scheduling mistakes they have made with me. Forgeting to make me appointments, scheduling me an appointment for after surgery when I didn't even have a procedure, writing me a prescription and finding out at the pharmacy it wasn't even signed. I will not be recommending this place!

I had never found relief for my pain going to chiros and MDs until I was referred to Dr Boeckman. At my first visit after I described my pain he knew immediately the cause, something I've never heard of but that was the answer I'd needed all the time. He explains options, how the procedures are done and gives me info to make an informed and optional decision. I trust him completely, he has his patients's best interests as primary to his plans. Got to appt to find out I had 20 pages of paperwork to fill out, then a urinalysis. Could have emailed p/w to me before hand to save time. 1.5hrs later and still haven't seen him yet. My time is precious too. Must have been a class in college for all docs. We pay too much in health for this silliness

Dr. Boeckman took over for my regular Pain Mgmt. Dr who left unexpectedly. I had no idea until I went to my next appointment. He has the absolute WORST bedside manner and will NOT listen to your concerns or how you feel. He is ONLY worried about studies and what they say "should" help the average patient. He has a basic blanket policy with ALL patients. He has ran other Dr's down in front of my wife and I which is the most unprofessional thing he could do as a Dr. Do NOT waste your time with him

Dr. Boeckman is young is the best way to sum it up I think. He loves "tinkering " (his words) with your pain meds. In the 3x that I've seen him he's changed my meds 2x due to "new studies" that's out. I have had multiple neck & back surgeries. My back is now inoperable. The pain meds the doctor who's practice he's taken over had me on, had me out of bed, & able to live again for the first time in two years. now he's doing away with all long acting pain meds. That's for all patients.

Dr Boeckman is an upstanding, reliable physician... I had been suffering with radiating pain in my neck and down both arms. My pop had been treating me for arthritis in my neck for years... symptoms kept getting worse! I was referred to Dr Boeckman in Nov 2015... immediately he began cervical epidural... which worked great for about2 weeks each time...so he made me an appointment with a surgeon.. and in June 2016 I had cervical fusion of 5 of the discs in my neck... thank you Dr Boeckman!

Gave me an injection that has left my entire right side of stomach area numb, going on almost a year. Wasn't feeling good and ol Hackman did injections anyways. Had 3 ER visits to find out what was wrong they couldn't find anything and said he must have hit something while doing injections. Hackman ignored my calls and then quit coming to Pauls Valley altogether, leaving me without a pain doctor or feeling in my lower right abdomen. That was July 2016, I still have little to no feeling in area

In Nov of 2016 I was surprised to come into my pain management appointment and find my long time doctor gone with no word. However Dr. Beckman has been a huge help. He explains everything to me and I am not a number to him.

I was not excited to have to find a new pain doctor after mine left without any warning but was left with no option. After trying to find a doctor closer to home, I quickly found out that NO ONE would take me on my current medications. I ended up staying at my old doctor's office & saw Dr. Boeckman. Dr. Boeckman has been a Godsend. After reluctantly agreeing w his plan, I feel better than I have in years. I didn't realize I had other options bc they were never offered.

Please do not use this doctor he has the worst bedside manner if you're going to use him don't say I didn't warn you he is the worst doctor on the face of this earth please do not go and see him if you are a patient of his please find a new doctor don't say I didn't warn you about him

Dr. Boeckman is a total jerk and doesn't care about paitents. He will run Midwest pain consultants in the ground. I highly suggest finding another doctor. He will talk down to you!!

Dr. Boeckman has recently taken over the Pain Institute. He was very thorough and knowledgeable during my first visit with him. He seems very concerned and has offered an alternative way to hopefully eliminate/reduce my pain levels. The first visit had a very extended wait time. I understand he needs to see all the patients, but I would have preferred to have delayed my arrival time to more closely coincide with my examination time. I'm excited to see what the next few visits bring.
