After years of pain and 5 previous surgeries thank you. I'm going to miss you. I'm not opposed to traveling to Long Island just to have an appointment. Thank you with all my heart for my life back.

Two visits, both times waited over an hour and a half to see the doctor, second time close to two hours. Third time for results our appointment was at 10:15, were told to get there at 10 and we would be called back promptly. Room full of people when arrived so figured some were seeing different doctors there. Checked in at 10, by 10:30 hadn't been called back and noticed several frustrated people as others were being called back. Man sitting in front of us said his appointment was at 9:30 and he had been in waiting room an hour. Went to window and inquired about status since we were 15 minutes past our appointment time but hadn't been called back yet and receptionist informed me that we had just checked in 3 minutes ago. WHAT? We had been there 30 minutes. Then I asked why there was a man who had appointment at 9:30 still sitting in their waiting room, another woman in waiting room with same appointment time as ours and two other women in there with 10:30 appointments, ALL for Dr. Berchuk. Receptionist rudely stated that we were at a specialist and they schedule according to time needed with a specialist. REALLY? I've worked at a doctors office before and I can tell you that if you are booking for a "specialist" you don't book two people in the same time slot in 15 minute increments. Specialists typically spend more time with patients and therefore patients would need longer time slots with ONE person in each one. Nope, both times we were seen, we were with doctor 10 minutes with more diagnostic tests ordered, and that's it. Didn't stay for results at third visit... going to another doctor and will have results sent there. Shame on you for treating your patients like this! Amazing Doctor! After having back pain for nearly 15 years, I had surgery with Dr. Berchuck last August, and I have been pain free! Recovery time was minimal, and follow up appointments were easy! Best experience with a physician I have had to date!
