Dr. Matthew Quin Barfield

Dr Barfield is a knowledgeable physician, but also a wonderful person. He listens, assesses, then discusses what he feels the is the best treatment for the situation. He cares about his patients. He has gotten me in for a block with little notice. I'm also comfortable with Dr Hapworth & Dr Tucker. I see Baylissa, a nurse practitioner, on a regular basis. Wouldn't trade this group for anything.

Him & his nurse Taylor was amazing. I wasn’t feeling too well after the procedure (it was my first) & they took amazing care of me! The epidural went well. Him & his staffed did their job so now it’s time to let the medication do their job.

Will use your pain meds as leverage to push you into a a procedure that you do not want to make money. If you don't want the procedure he will lower your pain meds to raise your pain level to force you into the procedure. Then when you challenge him, he will disharge you. Being honest with pain med doctors gets you punished, especially with this one.

My first visit was yesterday. Impressed with such a friendly, professional staff. Very impressed with Dr. Barfield! He explained everything to me in terms I could understand. Took time to listen to me and I could tell he had already studied my MRI’s and RFA’s and other treatments. He came highly recommended from both my neurologist & my neurosurgeon. He definitely lived up to their high expectations. Dr. Barfield made me feel safe, did not over or under explain treatment options. I am feeling very blessed to have been referred to him, and I think this will be a LONG & GREAT doctor/patient relationship.

Dr Barfield is always very compassionate. He listens to you to be able to determine exactly what needs to be done to meet your needs. Super super Dr and an even better human being.

Dr. Barfield is one of the most caring physican's I have seen. I receive multiple injections from him for my lower back. If it wasn't for him I would not be able to deal with the pain. I never have to question his knowledge of my back, because when a speaks to me I am well aware of his knowledge. I will never let another pain specialist are me for my lumbar. Dr. Barfield's staff is very friendly, at the office in Daphne and the ambulatory office in Pasacogula, Mississippi. You can not go wrong with Dr. Barfield. Jackie

The staff in the Fairhope office and the one in Pascagoula are wonderful. I have never seen a staff that works so well together to take care of the patients. Dr. Barfield is excellent and works with the patient to take care of the pain.

Dr Barfield is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have ever met. He takes time to listen to his patients and educate them about the plan of care. His staff is friendly and helpful! I had a great experience seeing Dr Barfield in the new Fairhope location! I would recommend him highly to my friends and family!!!

Dr Barfield and staff lack compassion for patients in pain. No pain medicine, only rehabilitation offered. If rehabilitation doesn't work, they refer you to another pain management.

I’ve had great results with managing my pain at Comprehensive Pain. This practice has only improved since moving to Fairhope. I have very little wait time now. I am happy with Dr Barfield’s care.

going there was a waist of time! they already have their agenda before you arrive. insurance pays more with procedures.

Dr. Barfield obviously cares about his patients and spends time educating them about their condition and best, most effective and safe options to diagnose and treat them. Thank you Dr Barfield!
