He is detail oriented in giving results of your surgery. But it's a no brian*er from him if you decide not to do chemo, if he recommends it. Just have to follow your own instincts. Just thankful he got all my bad stuff.

Dr. Alter is an excellent surgeon; however, if you 2nd guess his opinion, you'll be kicked to the curb. After my second surgery in Jan. 2015, he removed staples from the 2 surgical sites on my stomach, looked at them and deemed them looking so good I don't think I'll put anything on them. I wanted to ask him to put sterile strips on the smaller site but said nothing. When I got home, it was open almost an inch. It took 2 mths for that site to heal. I just didn't want to upset him.
